After several nations and political organisations around the world has come the state of political and civil rights within the Federation of FCD, the Party has decided to initiate a new public and international relations program, to start immediatly.

Basically, random questions about the state of the Federation or the political situation, about the Party's work, or other issues will be asked to random citizens in the streets of the capitol, Vinstagaard. The responses will be filmed and used to show the world that the people of the Federation are, despite what some may say, happy about the situation in the nation.

We would also be very pleased if other nations want to send in their own questions, to be answered by common citizens of the Federation, in order to better give the international community the answers the seek.

Also, trust that all responses given will be given by actual citizens, picked at random from people in the street. All statements will be show unabrigded and uncensored.

Thank you for your time, and please, if you have a question, go ahead and ask.

What is the FCD's opinion on gay marriage?

What is the FCD's policy about dealing with other species, both native and nonative to Earth?

How much wood would a wood chuck chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood? Please answer using metric measurements.

How would the FCD react to having diplomatic relations with a nation that has a history of committing genocide, and yet has never been prosecuted for any genocides it has committed?

The streets of the capitol were slowly filling up with people. The remarkably clean streets divided the orderly buildings, mostly made of glass and white concrete, into perfect equally sized rectangles, and from many of the houses, the large white banners with the Party insigna fluttered slightly in the mroning wind.

A man dressed in the plain white Party uniform strolled through the streets, accompanied by a cameraman. He stopped, looked briefly at the sheet of paper in his hand, before stopping a man in his late forties, who was walking past him in the street.

"Excuse me, sir", the man in the uniform said, holding a microphone. "On behalf of the new program by the Party, I'd like you to tell people a bit about what you know about the Party's policies on gay marriage." He held out the microphone.

"Er...", the man began. "Oh, I know this. The Party allows gay marriage, yes. Mostly any form of love between consenting human beings is allowed here, as long at it isn't directly harmful, I've understood."

"Thank you. Could you also tell us a bit of what you know of the policies regarding..." He checked his notes. "...dealing with other species, both native and nonative to Earth?"

"Ah, well..." The man chuckled. "I haven't really heard anything about relations with aliens, but I can tell you the Party does quite a decent job preseving the native life. Even though they let the environment get quite a bit too roughed up for my liking..."

"Thank you, sir.", the uniformed man said, sending the gentleman on his way. He checked his notes again. "How much wood could a woo... Oh, that's mature. Really mature." He frowned, the smiled again as he stopped a man in the twenties, wearing a small Party badge on his chest.

"Good day. Would you mind telling the camera about the Party's opinions on relations with nations commiting genocide?"

"Well," the young man began, thinking. "I know for a fact that the Party has on several occasions condemned genocides or mass executions in other nations, and I'm certain the Party wouldn't abide being an ally to an nation which did things like these unpunished."

"Thank you." The young man went on his way. The uniformed man smiled to the cameraman. This was going nicely.

The interviewing went on.

The uniformed man stopped a mother with child, asking the daughter, a blonde little girl with ponytails wearing a blue winter dress.

"Hello. Can you tell the camera what you think of Covski, the Partyleader?"

The little girl smiled.

"Covski is a nice man. He gives kids candy sometimes, I've seen it on the television. At home, I have a doll, she has a really pretty dress and..."

"Thank you.", the interviewer interrupted, handing the girl a small piece of chocolate, and the girl beamed with joy. "Nice kid", he said to the mother, before the two went about with their daily business.

A suit-clad man in the thirties was stopped next.

"Good day sir. Would you please tell the camera about the Party's views on slavery?"

"Err..." The man thought for a moment. "I know all forms of slavery are banned in the nation, so I'm pretty sure the government opposes it. I haven't really heard any official statements, though."

"Thank you. Do you know if the Federation possesses weapons of mass destruction?"

"Hm... Well, I do believe they keep a small arsenal of nuclear missiles for self defence, but I think that is more or less unofficial... They don't tell everybody about it, anyways." He looked carefully at the interviewer, who just gave him a reassuring smile.

"Alright. Finally, what does the Party think about the nation of Weylend?"

"Again, I haven't heard any real statement, bu I think the nations was mentioned during a discussion of anarchy and its problems, so I suppose the Party aren't overly fond of them. Don't take my word for it though, I'm an accountant, not a diplomat, hehe."

"Heh. Thank you for your time, sir."

Which types of weapons does the FCD use, and would you use it on your own population?

What is the FCD's defensive plans in case of invasion? Fight for every inch, or sacrificing a part of the population in order to fight back when you've regained your strength?

How old must you be to vote in your nation?

Why am I asking these stupid questions?

OOC: Bored...

"Mister, excuse me!", the interviewer said, stopping another passerby. "Please, how would you describe the governmental system of the Federation?"

"Well", the man began, searching for words. "Currently, we are governed by the FC-Democratic Party, or just 'the Party' for short, which has been in power ever since the nation became independent. The Party is lead by Partyleader Covski, who was also the leader of the Resistance before the Federation broke loose from Vinostravia. Anyways, the Party is divided into several departments, which handle different types of assignments. Administrative, Legislative, etc. These are all coordinated by the Party Council."

"Right, while were on the subject, could you tell us about other parties?"

"Other parties? Well, there aren't any, really, as of now. There are of course somewhat large political interest groups, but none that differ very much from the Party's views. There were going to be elections quite soon, but they had to be postponed due to terrorist attacks by the communist movement. It seems that the Party doesn't want to have the nation go through with an election with the communist threat around, and I can frankly understand that."

"Thank you. Can you list the sectors of the Federation?"

"Indeed. There a four sectors, which used to be sectors in old Vinostravia. Vinstagaard, home of the capitol with the same name. Krantzberg, a major industrial area. Afemov, which used to be the capitol of old Vinostravia, and Sevia, where most of the still untouched nature and agriculture is located."

"Good. One more question. What do you know of the Party's opinion of Neo Cannen?"

"Neo Cannen, eh? I seriously don't think the Party has any real formed official opinion as far as I know, sorry."

Oh, it's quite alright. Thank you for your time, sir.

A young man walking with a group of friends was stopped.

"Good day. Can you explain the Party's opinions on anime and the group known as the ALM?"

"Eh, opinions on anime?" The man smirked. "None as I know, but they strongly condemn all forms of terrorist activity, I know that much."

"What about the Party's opinion of the UN?"

"Ah, there is quite a lot of talk about it. There are many within the Party who claim the UN is inefficient and has to much influence on the governing of sovereign nations. I've even heard rumours that the Partyleader dislikes it. Dunno why they haven't left already if they dislike it so much." The man shrugged.

"Okay. What do you know of the Party's opinions on the RWC, NWO and NATO?"

"Frankly, I'm not all that into politics, but I've heard statements claiming that the Party feels that these types of large scale alliances are ineffective and bond to fall apart sooner or later. But as I said, I'm not sure."

"Explain the Party's views on drugs."

"Not much to say, all recreational drugs are strictly forbidden. Any use is met with harsh reprocussion, like most crimes here."

"Alright. What are the Party's views on extreme right or left-wing nations?"

"Oh, I know this one!" The man smirked again. "The Party strives to combine the best of left and right politics, and as such views the extremes of either as wasteful. I have a hunch that the Party is more inclined to side with right-wing than left-wing nations, probably due to all the problems the commies have been causing here."

"Thank you. One last question. A man from the Merchant Guilds wants to know where his glasses are. Can you help?"

The man frowned, thinking for a second, then said "Have you tried looking under the couch?".

"That was all. Thank you for your cooperation."

The next person to be stopped was a soldier assigned to police duty, patrolling the streets. Like all soldiers on civil duty, he wore the all white parade uniform, and wore a thight-fitting balaclava over his head, completely covering his face, under which he wore special goggles, which made his eyes covering his eyes and and making them look as if they were made of red glass.

"Excuse me, mister. Can you tell the camera about the weapons used by the military and wheter or not they would be used against our own population if there was need?"

"Comrade, I'm not authorized to answer questions regarding our equipment or tactics, but I can tell you that the Federation manufactures all their needed small arms and body armour themselves, and has quite a decent production and development of vehicles used by the armed forces. I can also inform you that the Party and its armed forces would never turn on their own citizens, no matter what the circumstances." His fabric covered face showed no emotion.

"In case of an invasion, would the Party rather make the invaders fight for every piece of land, or sacrifice parts to prepare for a counter attack."

"Again, I'm not allowed to divulge tactics, but I can tell you that any invader wanting to enter the land of the Federation would get a hell of a time doing so, and we'd make sure they'd pay in blood for every inch, man, credit or stone they take from us, one way or another!" Again, the voice was rather animated, but the face was unable to show any emotion.

"Alright. Last question, why do you think the representative of Cotland are asking all these stupid questions?"

"Well, that's probably because he is a... Eh... Err, no comment."

"Heh. Right, thanks for your time, comrade."

Cotland, your question has been forwarded to the captain in charge of border patrol at the time, Cpt Harold Watson, 12th Legionnary Division:

"Err, well, you see... My men and I had been on a march yesterday, and we were all pretty damned tired. And well, when we saw this mutt... Err, when we saw this fine dog coming running towards us, we kind of lost our nerve. Heh, with all the talks of bomb-dogs and anthrax-dogs and furry-dogs and all the like, we basically thought 'better safe than sorry', and shot it before it could blow us away. Or poison us, or whatever, heh. You never know what these communist terrorists might do, you know... Heh... You know? Yeah, like... Heh, err... ... You know... ...eh, sorry?"

The interviewing continued throughout the day. The next one to be stopped was a greyhaired man, dressed in plain clothes, clearly a member of the working class.

"Excuse me, sir. What are your opinions on the recent postponing of the election in response to the communist terrorist movements?"

"Quite frankly", the man began. "I suppose the Party know what they're doing, I'm no politician or academican or whatever, but..." He shifted his eyes, leaning closer to the camera. "I haven't ever seen any attacks by the communists... Sure, you hear about them on the news all the time, communists blowing up this and communists being killed while attacking that, but I've never seen it happen. Neither has anyone I know. Seems a little wierd, doesn't it? Well, maybe we've just been lucky, I suppose." The man shrugged.

"That is an interesting theory. Well, thank you for your time."

The man nodded, and gave the interviewer a last glance before hurrying along the street, disappearing in the crowd.
