0100h, GMT, Dimmimaran Egypt….

The sands were still. The winds blew over the dune, obscuring the site of any unfortunate person to be there. Unfortunately for Aaron Henderson, he was there. The wind blew through his hair, somehow penetrating through his helmet and chilling him to the bone. A shiver ran up his spine, causing him to curl up even further into a ball. The rest of his platoon seemed to be the same, occasional cries of lamentation worked it’s way to his cold ears. He loaded his rifle, putting a fresh magazine in. Usually he was complaining about the warmth of the rifle, now he was cursing at its coldness. He finished putting the magazine into the chamber and stooped down further, cupping his ear to his vox-caster radio, listening for the signal for the general advance to come over the air-waves. Why they bothered, he did not know, the border between Libya and Egypt was virtually undefended, far more military force was located in the north, waiting for the Hrstrovokian invasion….

”Damnable country!” James thought madly, his hair blown back by a gust of wind….

As he waited further, a small cry seemed to echo in his ears, it seemed far away at first, then grew louder, over time he heard what it was. The roar of jet’s came overhead, painted in Libyan colours and bombarding the border post in front of him. So that was the special event! As the jets withdrew, the flak cannons bursted into life, cutting down the planes with hails of lethal anti-aeroplane bullets. As the planes crashed to the ground in heaps of ill-constructed metal, a roar emanated from the radio and his staff-sergeant.

“Advance!”

Over the dune, Aaron advanced, knowing that over 500,000 forces stood ready to follow them, into glory……




0100, GMT, Libyan territorial waters….

The naval fleet wafted in the waves. Admiral Joseph Latimer stood upright, waiting for the order to come in. He had been waiting here for four days, waiting on the edge of Libyan territorial waters. His orders were unknown, to the crew at least. He knew of the attack that was going to be launched on Libya. Missile strikes from XIM Batteries emplaced on the Missile Frigates on his ship would take out key military installations and destroy local law and order.

Nice day, for some….

As he stood their he heard something, something crackling on the radio. He grabbed his personal radio from his pocket.

The attack!

He barked out codes to his servants, command alpha had been executed, the missiles were being launched…..

Risban shall place troops along the Tunisian/Libyan border. Our First Fleet is currently sailing from Ireland to Risbanian Tunisia, but is currently caught up at Gibraltar by the current war going on in Europe. Once arriving, they will patrol Tunisia's territorial waters and halt any Libyan ships from crossing to and fro.
Our border patrols shall capture any Libyan Refugees and place them in guarded camps until things are settled.

The troops came to the boarders.The men were frightened because they havent been in battle yet.The leader frightened was in the back of the army.Then the men came to an idea.They elected there strongest warrior to be leader.He used to be in another nation and won every battle he fought in.The leader was furious he challenged Djedefre.The men never saw there leader fight.Surprisingly he was skillful but now very powerful.A rebelion broke out.The men behind Djedefre were larger and more powerfull they left to go to the mountains.They hid among the sides.The leaders men snook up on Djedefre.The leader took out his sword then sudenly....the men thought Djedefre was killed but it was there king.Djedefre killed the king!The leaders men fell they wept and were sentenced to death by the new leaders son.Djedefre said no they didnt deserve this,its the first death they've seen and its only best that it was there leader.

BattleGroup Pantera is alerted to large enemy formations pouring across the Egyptian-Libyan border by EA-6B electronic warfare aircraft, which detect intensive communication activity. The orders come swiftly from GSK HQ in Beograd. They are simply. Halt the offensive at all costs. 30 F-14s and 24 F-15s aboard CVAN 17 and CVAN 20 are launched to slow the advance from above and defend the fleet from counter-attack.

Almost 2,000 Marines are engaged on the outskirts of Tripoli fighting tenaciously against a determined and sometimes fanatical militia - regular forces having pulled out prior to hostilities to avoid an obvious defeat, leaving the city vunerable to riots and looting. The heaviest fighting is centred around the airport, as Marines try desperately to liberate it and pave the way for airmobile reinforcements - 100,000 troops are preparing to deploy from Hrstrovokia. Another 400,000 are expected to set sail with the capture of Tripoli's deep-water port.

There is a massive build-up in Crete, with 300,000 troops ordered to deploy to the tiny island in possibly preparation for an invasion of Egypt. There is popular support at home for the war, where the Propagandists at the Ministry of Information have spun their magic to depict Dimmimar as a violet aggressor, which must be stopped for the cause of liberty and peace. In Libya, a fierce wave of patriotism has swept the nation. The Communist faction, supported by the Bureau of Intelligence and State Security, has lost all it's support. Already, several BISS agents have been captured and shot for their collusion with traitors.

The army had made much progress, although major setbacks had occurred when several uprisings of radical muslim created many pockets of resistance. They had been destroyed, but at least 2 Infantry regiments [2000] have been destroyed so far. However, the losses imposed upon Libya total in their ten of thousands, mainly stimulated by the slaughter of muslim prisoners when they refuse to submit. The High command has authorised the use of Biological and Chemical weaponry, although these have not been deployed, yet. The Naval fleet has destroyed many military bases and the meagre airforce and navy has been all but destroyed. So far, the invasion has been going well.

BattleGroup Pantera has recieved orders to begin withdrawl from the theatre as Marines in Tripoli begin AirEvac back to the fleet. GSK HQ in Beograd has cancelled Operation Gabriel indefinetly. Libya has been abandoned. However, President & General Secretary Sasa Mateuz issued a stern rebuke to the Dimmimar state, demanding the cessation of military activites against Libya and to pull out from the North African nation within 24 hours, or face war.

The HAF has begun total mobilization across the Soviet State of Hrstrovokia, which will be completed within 48 hours. Troop movements to Crete have been cancelled. Infact, Crete has been abandoned, as has Corfu. GSK HQ is returning all forces outside of the state back home, perhaps in preparation for some major operation. But against who?
