11:45 AM – Winters End National Broadcasting

An envelope was delivered to the station manager. A similar note went to the city center, and inside, the following letter was contained, written in blood:

"How are you doing today, Winters End? Last week's bank robbery was big, but we might want to entertain you some more, seeing how nosy you got over how we treated those aid workers in PIcaRDMPCia. Expect something big real soon. Your Buddies at the RALM."

The manager freaked out, and told his aide to call the Mayor.

11:48 AM – Winters End, Center City
Downtown Government Building

It was a beautiful day outside, unseasonably warm for this time of year and not a cloud in the sky. John and Mary moved to Winters End because it was such a pleasant place to live. It was a small city by comparison to some of the other places they had been to, but they liked it just the way it was.
They had met up for lunch, every Wednesday there was a Farmers Market in the city square and the park there was a quaint place to get together for lunch. Across the street from them a brown panel truck pulled into one of the delivery spaces in front of the City Center, a courier ran up the steps and disappeared into the building.

The courier, seemingly an ordinary parcelsman, delivered the manila envelope into the office. Handing it to the aide, he said, "Please deliver this to the Mayor, it is very important."

In his truck, things were not so innocent. Inside, a good 6 tons of plutonium, dynamite, and lots of rusty nails, waited to be used. A convienent 'dirty bomb.' One that would not only blow up the City Center, but also spread chaos and radiation everywhere......

11:55 AM – Mayor’s Office

His aide delivered the envelope the courier had brought special delivery. As he opened it a white powder fell all over his desk. “What the..” he read the letter as his assistant wondered what was going on. His face became white as a ghost, the Mayor dropped the letter on his desk and reached for the phone.

No time, he thought as he dialed..

11:59 AM – Center City Park
As the delivery person exited the building, he jogged across the street, grabs an apple as he walks by one of the carts at the Farmers Market and takes a seat on a bench next to a young couple having lunch. “Beautiful day isn’t it?” John looked over to the young man and smiled.

12:00 Noon

The letter was the same as the one delivered to the station, only, it had a little addendum.

"P.S. Hi Mr. Mayor, how's the chemicals and biologics?"

He smiled and said, "Nice day for a walk?" as he sat next to John and Mary.


He then looked at his watch, and pushed what should have been the minute dial on it.

A hideous explosion resounded through the city center. Chaos soon fell on the square, as rubble and nails flew everywhere.

12:05 - HDC Command Headquarters

They watched the feed being sent via the camera the RALM had set up across the way from the government building. They were nice enough to send them the feed so they could watch and learn.

"My God.. they are animals."

A letter soon arrived at HDC HQ.

"You like the blast? To let you know, that was a dirty bomb. Have fun cleaning six ton of plutonium up."

12:10 PM – Winters End National Broadcasting

“Sir, all the lines are busy, I can’t get through downtown.”

The station manager looked out of his window at the black cloud that rose from downtown. He could hear emergency sirens going off in the distance.

"Run the tape that we got from the RALM now before anything else happens.. do it!"

OOC: My turn?

The tape was soon run, and the footage of the black cloud and the exploding truck ran.

Then, the camera swiveled. It revealed the operator to be an Irishman in a flak vest, a camofluage jacket, Canadian pattern, and a bandoleer of Ruger Mini-14 clips, standing in front of a Japanese Naval Ensign. He smirked into the camera.

"How'd you like the show? I thought it was a jolly good time. It just goes to show, what goes around comes around. To the people of the world, we mean business. Obviously, a movement based on the liberation of anime is usually regarded as part of the lighter side of the news, so we figured we would prove how serious we were."

"How do you like the idea of cleaning up the bonny fine radioactive mess we made? I don't think that is on the top of your preferred things to do list. How about rescuing those we just filled with concrete shrapnel and rusty nails? Not a pleasant job. Of course you can prevent this. Stay out of PIcaRDMPCia, and stop oppressing anime fans, and anime culture. Otherwise, you may have this happen to you, and that wouldn't be nice, would it?"

The WEBN helicopter hovered just beyond the limits they were told to hold at by air traffic control. The images they beamed back to the studio and then out via satellite were horrific. The camera didn't need to zoom in, there was nothing left of the City Center to speak of, two city blocks had been leveled and beyond that the damage would be felt for a long time.

Buildings burned, smoke poured from windows, carnage was everywhere. It was the worst thing that had ever happened in Winters End, no one would have imagined something like this could ever happen.

The government of Winters End has recently experienced a devastating terrorist attack by the Real Anime Liberation Movement. This attack was unprovoked, our nation at not time posed a threat to your movement. Any shred of credibility the Real Anime Liberation Movement was trying to establish was lost.
Our government officially declares the Real Anime Liberation Movement to be a rogue terrorist organization. We will detain any individuals within our soverign borders declaring affiliation to this cult. We will also detain any individuals protesting or assembling on behalf of this band of terrorists. Any individuals that are apprehended within our borders suspected of being Real Anime Liberation Movement will be thoroughly questioned and if we subsequently gather enough irrefutable proof of their involvement with the recent terrorist acts, rest assured they will be tried before a military tribunal. The military tribunal will not be mired in red tape. legal counsel on behalf of the accused will not be allowed to pander to the media, justice will be swift. If these individuals are found guilty of crimes against the citizens of Winters End they will be brought before a firing squad and summarily executed. We will give them the same opportunity afforded to our citizens when they were brutally massacred in the streets of Winters End. This is not a threat on behalf of our government.

President Carpenter, when he heard about this new attack on his allies by the RALM, was furious. "Adam!" he shouted.
Adam Adamo, Finance Minister, walked over. "Yes sir?"
Carpenter sighed. "I know we're pressed as it is for our own relief efforts, but see if we can at least spare something for Winter's End; after all, they were only attacked because they aided us."
Adamo nodded. "Yes sir; I believe we can spare at least 2,000,000 gils for their efforts. It's not much, but it will help. I'll go see about wiring it to them right now." He walked away, leaving Carpenter to think about the RALM and how he, Henrytopia, and Winter's End would be able to end this organization once and for all.
OOC: Henrytopia, is Winter's End a puppet nation of yours? If not, why were you adding to the story...or was that already set-up between you two?

OOC: Winters End was attacked by the RALM for supporting your relief efforts and condemning their acts against PIcaRDMPCia in public. The notice was made in the thread where my nation was attacked within your borders (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=7810303).
What set off the attack against Winters was this comment.

We would like to offer assistance to the nation of PicaRDMPCia in their time of need and also to aide the relief workers from Henrytopia suffering the tragic loss. We condemn the actions of the Real Anime Liberation Movement and their spineless leader for his role behind this non existent front. Our nation would like to send material and financial assistance and we join any fight against the Real Anime Liberation Movement.

That was the no-no that heated the RALM.

OOC: >_> I know that; I was referring to the fact that you were RPing part of the story of this attack. I would have assumed that if anyone would do that, Winter's End would. My question was if you had set up before hand with Winter's End to RP this part of the story for him.
