The Amor Patriae Training School
A Special Forces/Operations Training School
Weapons & Equipment
In the Amor Patriae Training School (APTS), we teach every trainee in the importance of weaponry. We also teach them about different roles, calibers, and exercises for weapons. In the APTS, our students learn everything they will need to know to be effective and responsible with the weapons they handle.
Current weapons we train our students with are:
M16
M14
MP5
UMP
AK47
AN94
Steyr AUG
HK G3
HK G36
SA80/L85
IMI Tavor TAR-21
AKS-74U
XM8
XM29 OICW
Students in the APTS are trained in how to handle, clean, fire, and strategically use the weapons listed above, as well as numerous others. The students are taught how to do all of this under the supervision of numerous Witzgallian military officials, including top-notched Colonels and Generals, as well as Field Marshals and standard officers who have experience on the field and with the many firearms used. The APTS students are taught how to use all variants of the weapons. They are allowed to fire the weapons on our many enviromental fields, which include a jungle terrain, desert, arctic, and urban.
We also have firing contests, as well as accuracy contests. These teach the students how to fire more accurately and strategically, as well as bring out the best of our students.
The students are also taught in the use of kevlar, as well as other types of personal armor. They are taught how to use grenades, cover in the field, and in all areas of Special Op warfare.
Stealth is Your Friend
In APTS, we have every student taught in the use of Ghillie Suits, as well as the importance of all types of stealth, whether it be visual, accoustic, or otherwise.
They are taught how to "break and enter" without leaving any evidence of their presence.
Interrogation
Although most special forces groups do not have their students taught in this course, some do. We offer it as optional, seeing how some nations and groups enjoy having their "troopers" able to find out information by using interrogation methods.
Counter Terrorism
In the field of Special Forces, being able to fight terrorism is a growing problem. Many nations have all special forces groups and operatives trained in this method of warfare, but do they have them trained enough? We don't think so. Therefor, for all students at APTS, we offer courses on how to handle hostage situations, disarm/dismantle weapons and explosives, as well as bring down an armed subject. The APTS students are taught on how to fight nuclear, biological, or chemical warfare hazards.
Recon
In APTS, we teach our students on the importance of recon, and how to do it successfully. We teach our students on how/where to plant a "bug" or wiretap, how to hack into a network (optional), how to eavesdrop secretly and with success, as well as how to find out information by "social engineering." Social engineering may be "old news" to some advanced nations, but nevertheless it is important in the field of recon and special forces. Social engineering is basically finding out necessary information (whether it be a password, keycode, etc.) by talking with someone "casually." Such as the following conversation:
APTS Student: Hello.
Bad Person: Greetings.
APTS: So, whats new?
BP: Nothing much.
APTS: Thats nice...so, hows the wife?
BP: I'm single.
APTS: Ah, any pets?
BP: A dog.
APTS: What kind? I'm quite a dog person.
BP: Me as well. It's a doberman pincher.
APTS: Very nice dogs...I used to have one.
BP: Really?
APTS: Yeah. It's name was (insert madeup name)
BP: Nice. My dog's name is Mugsy.
Now, sometimes social engineering is useless. But perhaps someone is really stupid and they have their password as their dog's name, because they love the dog so much. Well, now you have that password.
Behind Enemy Lines
Behind the borders of an enemy, the worst kind of dirty work is done. Whether it be assasinations, espionage, or anything of the sort, it is reffered to as dirty work. At APTS, we teach our students how to employ and use "dirty work" to their advantage. They are taught how to cross borders undetected, how to silence almost any weapon, how to use an everyday object as a weapon or tool, and how to silently take out a target.
When in APTS, we use convicted terrorists(they are unarmed, possibly with a handgun unloaded) as the target. They are placed into a hotel room and the students must find the room using recon, and kill the target or take him into custody.
PRICES
To compensate for our teachings, we must charge each nation a substantial amount per student. Roughly $225,000 is needed to be payed for a squad of eight, and they will spend the next 2 NS years training in our camps and fields.
