At 7:35 AM GMT, a 9.4 earthquake occurred between the pacific islands and Antarctica. The earthquake was, luckily, at sea and caused no known damage; however any nation within the pacific should we wary of large tsunami size waves that will inevitably occur. All citizens, whom are within the affected zone of the large waves, should seek emergency shelters immediately.

Manager Rizk was patiently waiting for Director Orien to appear. He was sitting by Orien's desk, holding a briefcase close to his hip. The documents within were deemed too sensitive to be circulated, so they were to be promptly destroyed. Orien entered the room and set his jacket on a chair near the door.
Orien "I suppose you are Rizk, manager of our aquatic research department. Hmm?"
Rizk "Yes, I was told to report..."
Orien "I do not have much time, so just give me the report."
Rizk "Well, sir, the experiment was a complete success. The quake was a tad larger than we expected, but we are confident that the size was just a fluke."
Orien "So, the weapon works?"
Rizk "Yes, we should have another deployable model within 2 weeks. At that point, you will be able to cause massive fractures in the earth’s crust and will be able to form your own private islands."
Orien, "And the earthquake, will they occur each time the device is used?"
Rizk "Most definitely, sir. You can expect them to be smaller than 9.4 though. The research team believes that they used too much uranium."
Orien, "Good. Then, I suppose we won't require these papers anymore."
Orien tossed the folder into a trash bin and lit them on fire. Rizk left the room, confident in Orien's approval of the results. Orien sat back and smiled.
Orien "An earthquake every time. Hmmm."
