Most Under-rated Nations (OOC thread)

In your opinion, what are some of the nations out there who are underrated? There are two different categories that I would like to make: diplomatically and militarily. Tell us what you think! There are many younger nations out there that are diplomatically, more powerful than some of the oldest nations. I think one of the most under-rated nations, diplomatically, would have to be Schultaria Prime. I'd have to do more research to see who is militarily under-rated.

I would say that Green Sun is diplomaticlly under-rated. He may be young, but he is more diplomatically advanced than me. He always knows the score.

I'm not exactly old, and I've been told that I'm militarily underrated, as I field an amazingly low ship count of abour 500. When my capacity is around 3000.
But I think DemonLordEnigma is underrated Militarily.

Actually, in FT, 500 is amazingly low, almost pitiful. It is what you would expect a month old to have. Well, I more than make up for it with advanced technologies, and good training. But still.....

OOC: I see...I thought that you meant having 500 ships with modern tech was a very small force.

There are lots.
Under-rated by whom? There are lots of RPing groups that pay little heed to one another's membership, BG being part of A Modern World. I'd say that the movement's founder, Dra-pol, is under-rated in influence (and punch, given the fact of their holding-out against a massive coalition several times) but I know the guy, so it'd feel like nepotism, and we can't have that :) Personally, I think that most of this forum's good RPers and interesting nations have joined AMW, and get internal respect enough. If we look beyond this forum, though, I'd say that almost anyone who isn't the few uberpowers could be considered under-rated in diplomatic and military terms. Everyone fawns over a few such as AMF, but BG never had any dealings with any of them while part of the wider RP community.
I can't help saying that I don't think that the likes of Iansisle ever get enough recognition for the quality of their RP, but the nations they choose to play may not have the power to be influential to the power-players, so maybe it doesn't matter.
Holy monkey, I must be bored.

Hmm, that's a good question. Golden Simitar is in my opinion somewhat underrated, cause he's a good RPer though not especially forum-famous.
Der Fuhrer Dyszel is underrated, even though she's been here very long, her threads are pretty much ignored (not IGNORED like with a cannon, just not given any attention)
Perhaps I'm underrated, I don't know. Most of the time people don't pay any attention to my threads, and often not my posts, but maybe that's just because they're crappy. [shrugs]
The thing is, the truly underrated aren't even going to be mentioned because no one even pays enough attention to know who they are.

OOC: Der Fuhrer Dyszel, Samtonia, and especially Pantera are all underrated RPers in my book. Of course I don't understand why people don't flock to Pantera's threads, he's definatly one of the best writers NS has ever seen.

Yeah, I always enjoy reading Pantera's threads, a very good writer.
Godular actually prefers to be underrated. (tankies fer the mention DLE)
There are advantages in not being seen as a credible threat... yet.
