Foreing Affairs minister Elian Gonsalez
is asking all governments to vote and post
thier official recognition or not of
Santa-Nitas government.
The Republic of Santa-Nitas island nation
was founded by cuban boat people
escapeing communist political, economic
and social oppression, led by thier
brave and determined leader Anita G Cruz
across 90 miles of shark infested waters
on anything that floats, rafts, inner tubes,
small boats, and floating trucks.
Anita was the first to sight land,
a big huge enviornmentally stunning archipelago
of one main island and over 5,000 small islands, cays and keys
with many white sandy beaches and excellent natural harbors,
very much like thier homeland in size and shape.
A land of gently rolling hills and plaines
with many lush tropical rain forests covering about
80 percent of the land and high towering mountains
with valleys covering about 20 percent of the land.
They divided the land into 7 provinces
named after their homeland and named the other
Santa-Nita City Province after thier leader
Anita G Cruz.
They welcomed refugee imigrants from many lands
especially hispanics as well as African Americans,
and European decendents from the USA, Canada,
Australia and New Zeeland and other European
immigrants from many lands.
They elected her thier first democratically
elected president with 100 percent voter turnout
and 70 percent of the vote in the first democratic
elections many had ever know.

OOC: You're saying other communist countries aren't illegitmate dictatorships? Meh, whatever.
IC:
I, Dayan the First, King of Malkyer, hereby extend recognition to the Republic of Santa- nita. We welcome you to the community of nations.
OOC: isn't 100 percent voter turnout a little...unrealistic? Or do you have complusory voting? Just curious.
