After 700 years of Civil war was recently ended, the Empire of
Tsarkoye-Selo faces a new threat. Today in the capital Vashime, Tsar Vladimir I was shot 3 times, once in the wrist, once in the upper thigh, and one shot glancing his neck, in an assassaination attempt by a Marxist-Maoism group calling themselves the Revolutionary Voice of the People, or RVP. The attempt was carried out by a peasent who was not well acquinted with a firearm and thankfully the Tsar lives!
The group also systematically launched attacks on several villages and military outposts in the rural nation, causing at least 10,000 casualties.
Tsar Vladimir has called for international help for the nation with a military only 50,000 strong with only 15 tanks and no air force or navy facing a violent revolutionary movement which risks the program of democratic reform, and economic development the Tsar ahs instigated.
Meanwhile the Maoist RVP numbering at least 30,000 has likewise called on the assisstance of the international community.

The RVP has the full support of the Empire of Communist Louisiana.

The RVP also has the full support of the SovietRepublicofRussia

Viewing the civil rights levels of the current government, and not seeing any evidence of "democratic reform", the RVP has full support from Kanabia.

Taiwanese Islands must make it clear that it is not its intention to support undemocractic states which oppresses its own people. That said, the people of Taiwanese Islands, wary of further attempts at undermining security in the Empire of Tsarkoye-Selo, and seeing it as an ideaological obligation to counter Maoism wherever and whenever the need arises, hereby pledges full support for the Empire. Although we cannot provide ground forces, the Taiwanese Islands Air Force has been placed on alert, and can provide close ground support and strategic bombings for Tsarkoye-Selo, if it so wishes.

If Taiwan intervenes in this civil war SRoR will move to assist the RVP militarily.

IC: After the announcement from SovietRepublicofRussia, Ambassador Allan searched wide and hard but sees no nation named Taiwan taking sides in this conflict. After he relayed his findings back to the Government of Taiwanese Islands, the Cabinet agreed that SovietRepublicofRussia was in fact making an indirect threat to the nation, and government spokesman Michael Jo soon made the following statement:

The port town of Mansisk was small, and proud. The sourthernmost part of Tsarkoye-Selo it was blessed with a peace and prosperity that had escaped the rest of the island for over 700 years.
The first attack came at dawn. The cars rolled through the town with improvised machine gun turrents on the roof, and men armed with grenades and dynamite followed. Entire walls of buildings were blown away, and the occupants repeatedly pumped with machine gun fire. The RVP killed fast and without discrimination, over 1,500 were dead before noon.

As tensions escalate in your nation, it has come to my attention that you are in danger of losing control.

Although the CCAF is already involved in a small war it can spare a Regimental Combat Team if needed. The 9th Colchi Lancers RCT (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=7763223&postcount=34) has been notified of a possible deployment to Tsarkoye-Selo if the need arises. It has come to our attention here in Moscow that a small nation newly our of a former revolution that put an opressive police state government into power, is indeed in another revolution. This revolution is one of the workers revolting against their oppressors. With this the nation of the Soviet Republic of Russia announces that it will reconize the Revolutionary Voice of the People as the official government of Tsarkoye-Selo and that its capital in exile is Mansisk until the true capital can be re-captured by and for the people of the nation.

RVP has no chemical or biological weapons to anyones knowlege.

RVP has full support of Pushka. We are prepared to send supplies, and since the tsarist regime does not have an air force it means that it will vunerable to an air attack. We are sending 500 PJF-01 bomber/fighters, half of the 1st Wing of Pushkan Airforce. Jet fighters should be arriving soon enough and will initiate an attack on military outposts of those who oppose the rebels. We advise the tsar's army to lay down their arms and embrase the future.

If you even give it a second thought your air base will be Nagasaki all over again and your capitol city will be overrun with LAV's in a millisecond.

OOC: you are a nation that got 14 million in population. You can't have nukes until you have atleast 100 million in population. Also Pushka got the best AA/AM system in the world so even if you have intercontinental missiles, a lot of them will shot down. The thing is, you don't have them. Plus i am not even a Japan centered nation, i am a Russia/USSR centered nation. Plus the whole Pacific campaign was a waste, but thats beyond this RP.

Perceiving an earlier comment by the Tsar to be consent to deployment of Taiwanese Islands forces, the National Executive Command today ordered two Marine Division Groups into the land of Tsarkoye-Selo.

These forces have been placed on combat alert for quite some time, and as soon as the word is given, the Air Force conducted a massive organisational feat and airlifted the entire two divisions into their designated targets in little more than 12 hours.

The air units sent by Taiwanese Islands are however much slower, and will only fully arrive after more than 36 hours.

Earlier reconnaisance have revealed that the Maoist rebels are centered around the southern tip of Tsarkoye-Selo, and as such the two marine units have been deployed in the region.

The structure of the Taiwanese Islands forces is such that there are two brigades and an independent regiment under each division. The Commonwealth Expeditionery Forces, under the command of General Jun Kagosaki, has secured an area resembling a square.

Each of the four brigades holds up a side of this area, while the two independent regiments are placed in the centre as reserved forces.

In the CEF HQ, General Kagosaki and the top officers of the Taiwanese Island forces have assembled to discuss the situation. Major General Kenschev Tulaine, Commander of the 4rd Division, presents his views:

"Our enemy is constantly receiving more and more support from overseas. As we have heard, the Tsarkoye-Selo forces are still taking time to train properly; yet it seems clear to me that the rebels are building up much faster than our side could possibly expect. We must act, and fast."

Everyone concurred, and Tulaine continues. "I believe that there are no time to waste. Our forces are more than capable of storming the rebel strongholds, and that is exactly what we should do. I suggest that the 3rd Division should launch a frontal strike, while the 5th Division assault from behind. That way, we will definitely end this issue with minimal costs."

"Wait a minute," Major General Reinde Fordit of the 5th division disagrees. "Surely that is being way too hasty! We have no intel on the RVP forces, no information on the geography, and no idea what kind of situation our soldiers would be in! Instead of unnecessarily risking our soldiers' lives, we should request more information from the Tsar first."

General Kagosaki nodded her consent.

"It would indeed be unwise to take such a risk. I understand where General Tulain is coming from, but without proper intellegence on what we are facing, we have slim chances of victory. As soon as the Air Force units arrive, we should commence bombing of enemy facilities, and our strike fighters shall patrol the seas, stopping any attempt to supply these rebels by sea."

The meeting was soon adjourned, and as the officers walked out of the CEF HQ, aircrafts began arriving while the entire Commonwealth Expeditionary Forces busily prepare themselves in anticipation for combat.

Loyalist-Controlled Tsarkoye-Selo

After Field Marshall Stephen Isandro had disembarked from his flagship, he went to grett the Tsarkoye commanders.

He was told a high ranking Tsarkoye leader was stationed at a command post not far from the Colchi beachhead.

After finally getting the okay to see the man, Isandro departed.

A few hours later he arrived at a large command complex where a couple of Tsarkoye soldiers stood guard.

"Field Marshall Isandro," one of them said "we've been expecting your arrival, he will see you now."

The soldier ushered him into the Loyalist command room where Isandro saw a man sitting at a desk reviewing papers and writing.

Stephen Isandro saluted.

"Field Marshall Stephen Isandro," he said "I have been appointed head of Task Force Serpent and will ensure the safety of the Loyalist forces of the legitimate government here."

He continued.

"I presume you are heading the campagin, what is your name?"

OOC: Good...you might want to consider adding some more logistics though.

Since you are going for a Soviet look I would suggest using old Red Army organization:

The attatchment below is what a Red Army Tank Division looked like in WWII. All you'd have to do is get rid of the motorcycles and replace with about 20 Scout cars and use modern tanks. I'd probably replace the tractors with modern engineering vehicles too.

If you look the division has 1695 trucks to keep them well supplied, I would use something like that for your army. Just my advice.

Field Marshall Stephen Isandro had heard of the Turtelian forces landing and was prepared to make his move.

With the outbreak of Communist Revolution in Tsarkoy-Selo, a small nondescript nation most notable for the recently concluded civil war that plagued it for nearly seven-hundred years, the Imperial government has decreed that it is in the best interests of the Empire to restore order in the nation through support of the Tsar, militarily and otherwise.

Unfortunately for Tsar Vladimir, the monarch responsible for ending the civil war and establishing (apparently temporary) peace, the terrorist group calling itself the RVP is not the only threat to his rule.

Aided by members of a red coalition who care little about the RVP's targetting of innocent civilians, the terrorists are being given a distinct military edge over the somewhat outdated Tsarkoyan forces (despite prior arms shipments from the Empire to the nation's government at the conclusion of the civil war).

Due to the volatile situation, a time bomb for the Tsar's rule and consequent peace in the land, the Empire has, from the looks of it, ordered the mobilization of additional units of the feared Imperial Praetorian Guard, supposedly for deployment to the theater.

With regard to the recent outbreak of hostilities between the Empire and the Sarzonian government over certain acts of the government of Roach-Busters, Imperial military mobilization is nothing new, but owing to the fact that these particular units rarely see International deployment, this reporter can only make the judgment that they are indeed not intended for North Atlantic deployment, but instead will make course for a small nation many people here and throughout the world have never before heard of, but whose problems our noble Emperor sees fit to involve his people in.

In the streets of Port Belgrade, the thunderous marching feet of the Imperial Praetorian Guard and the Imperial regular infantry was nothing new. We need to make sure that his attack chokes in a pile of his soldiers bodies. Okay mount machine guns, and establish nests, all around the perimeter, use sandbags to lay out the nests. We have plenty in our Mi-8 helecopters, don't we?

Loyalist Tsarkoye-Selo

As the 9th Colchi Lancers worked to hide their positions, Field Marshall Stephen Isandro worried that they would run out of time. They had been working for hours now, painting tanks, throwing camo blankets over equipment, painting faces, etc. The Colchi RCT had made the transformation over to a guerilla force.

The Field Marshall stared hard at his radar.

Anytime now, he thought.

Across the area the 9th Colchi Lancers occupied, an anti-aircraft net was being formed.

72 mighty ZSU-23-4 Shilkas prepared for a possible airstrike and would form an umbrella of lead over the forces below them.

The Anthony Adela would check its sensors for incoming aircraft, if they detected anything they would deploy a force.

This all helped to comfort Isantro.

Radars had just detected enemy forces mobilizing near the 9th Colchi Lancers.

"Sir!" A man wearing a Colchi naval uniform yelled "we have spotted a large enemy force near the 9th Lancers, it looks like it is gathering resources for an attack."

Admiral Miguel Adora approached the radar.

"This is definetly Pushka and Soviet Republic forces all right," Adora said "dispatch a couple of squadrons to stop them from hitting the Lancers."

The Admiral continued.

"I'll notify Isandro."

With loud screams, sixteen F-35C fighters accompanied by twenty-four X-45B UAV bombers flew off the carrier.

As the squadrons roared over the terrain below, they came near to their destination.

Loyalist Tsarkoye-Selo

As the 9th Colchi Lancers worked to hide their positions, Field Marshall Stephen Isandro worried that they would run out of time. They had been working for hours now, painting tanks, throwing camo blankets over equipment, painting faces, etc. The Colchi RCT had made the transformation over to a guerilla force.

The Field Marshall stared hard at his radar.

Anytime now, he thought.

Across the area the 9th Colchi Lancers occupied, an anti-aircraft net was being formed.

72 mighty ZSU-23-4 Shilkas prepared for a possible airstrike and would form an umbrella of lead over the forces below them.

The Anthony Adela would check its sensors for incoming aircraft, if they detected anything they would deploy a force.

This all helped to comfort Isantro.

Its alright SRoR, i like the challenge. Of course i do have 800 IL-76 planes, but lets say they were just enough to carry a thousand of my tanks.

As quickly as the attack began it was over.

OOC: No one gave my artillery a seize fire command, jsut so you know. And we have plenty of ammo, i took a lot carriage helicopters with me.

Over Pushkan Forces

The two squadrons of fighters and UAV bombers soon found themselves flying over a lot of flak coming from the Pushkan ground troops below.

The X-45Bs began to drop their payload.

Back at base, the pilots of the UAVs watched their monitors as the bombs began to explode on the forces below.

The X-45Bs continued their cluster bombing of the area when they met an enemy force.

"Enemy force up ahead," a voice was heard over the comms "identified as thirty Pushkan fighters."

"Roger, preparing to engage," said another voice.

The stealthy F-35 JSF fighters which had not revealed themselves began to descend on the enemy air force.

As a large mechanized force neared, Field Marshall Stephen Isandro prepared to engage them.

Isandro had spent years at the Academy, learning mechanized tactics. He learned about tank tactics and how different commanders used them.

One of his favorite commanders was the German Field Marshall Erwin Rommel.

Rommel had used his outnumbered tank forces to ambush superior British forces and succeed against them. The German Field Marshall would sucker them into an attack where they would meet the might German 88"s and be cut to pieces.

Isandro would do the same.

Because of hours of preparation, his mechanized forces had been hidden well. This would aid him in the battle to come.

As enemy forces neared he would set up a U formation.

Some of tanks and infantry fighting vehicles would set up shop on the sides of the enemy, they would fire then fall back.

When the enemy pursued they would meet the other tanks, artillery, and LAV gun platforms and would be stopped and pushed back. Then the forces which had retreated earlier would attack again and destroy the enemy then and there with the help of air strikes.

The Field Marshall smiled about his plan.

They have no idea what they are getting into, he thought.

But now he would strike them first from the air.

The three Wasp Class Helicopter Carriers had waited offshore for days now, its massive 112 helicopter fleet going to waste.

Now he would put them into action.

Offshore, the rotors of helicopters could be heard as the Super Cobra helicopters stormed into battle. They would engage the enemy mechanized force.

In the air:

-1st fighter group(50th fighter squadron): Men we are closing in over the area of our men... Enemy Fighters and bombers on the horizon men arm your missiles and prepare to fight.

-Foreward scout: (out of breath from running half a kilometer) Sir the forces of Pushka are charging the positions of Colchus.

-General in command of the SRoR expeditionary force: Then we shall move onto Colchus's less defended flank. Radioman, order all troops to charge.

(on the radio to all commanders in the field)

Radioman: Our great comrade general has ordered all the men of our forces to charge Colchus's positions... we do not expect this to be easy but remeber the Motherland and do not let her down. Charge!


(The forces of SRoR then begin their charge towards Colchus positions along with the support of their T-80 tanks taking losses on the way)

OOC: JPF-Yastreb are also stealthy, infact probably more so then your planes, my planes use plasma stealth. Plasma stealth reduces radar signature by factor of a hundred

IC: As the bombs landed there was little to interfere with their fall. about 7 artillery pieces were destroyed. There weren't many human casualties since most men already left the camp.

The Pushkan Yasterbs flew up, they spotted one of their enemy jets with their radar and established a lock, they scand that general area for more enemies and descovered 15 mor fighters, the missiles were locked. Buttons were pushed and missiles were fired.

OOC: Remember my troops are charging at you. As in very close and probably at your positions by now. They attack from three sides but you wouldn't know since non of your soldiers can stick their head out of their foxholes, because if they do it gets blown off by heavy artillery fire. I have a total of 61 guns firing at you.

IC: The Pushkan troops finally reached the enemy positions. One of the sqaud leaders called the general and told him about the situation. Artillery siezed fire.

General: Okay good, artillery get into your rpg mode right now, our radars show a force of helecopters approaching. Smoke those chickens out of the sky! Air Force, everything you got, get it into the air. Now!!!

"Hundreds of helecopters and jet fighters started lifting from the ground. So did the bombers."

Pushkan Infantry has broken onto the enemy territory and the close combat fighting started errupting everythere. Pushkan tanks started shooting at the communications tents.

OOC: This is not a god mod, its completely logical. You couldn't have men operating your machine guns because the Artillery fire was very concentrated. One good thing about mobile artillry is that a man who fires the gun is inside an armored vehicle. Basically your troops jsut started getting out of the foxholes and mine jumped on them. Remember that some of your troops may be experiencing shell shock, also a lot are killed or wounded (i will post my casualties later) plus my men are all special ops. HAve good training. You got 19560 (less actually, but i haven't counted the casualties yet)coming on the right and left flank thats more then 30000 men and tanks through the center. Hope you understand that this is not a god mod.

the second group of 20 aircraft takes off from the carrier "Kvashnin" moving towards allied positions in order to better support ground forces.

I do like this idea so that ,it does not turn into how American foolishly fought Vietnam with 600,000 men, and so that large nations with large armies do not put 2 million men and overwhelm us all with force, as well as keeping this a true revolution/civil war.

ooc soz i've been away, i had a pretty bad asthma attack and had to go to the hospital for a couple of days, and didn't realise all this would build up so fast. And i am a noob so im not too sure how to post maps or anything like that.

The city was ripped to shreds and barricades mounted on all streets and booby traps were crafted.
10,000 professional soliders remained in the city, with a suppliment of 120,000 untrained men and boys to defend the city.

Over the countryside 40,000 Royalist Troops marched southwards, recruiting as they went through the hundreds of villages in the nation, they knew if they could exact a large enough toll on the Maoists they could remove the reason for foreign forces being in Tsarkoye-Selo.

In the south the Maoist were marching through villages at will. Theylet their international allies slog it out with their enemies. Slaughter and rape and conscription, and requisitioning are common.

Farmers do what they have never before done. They leave their fields and livestock and flea to wherever they believe they can find peace and shelter. The Maoists and their allies have done what 700 years of sustained warfare could not in just a few days. They have started in motion a famine.

Farmers do what they have never before done. They leave their fields and livestock and flea to wherever they believe they can find peace and shelter. The Maoists and their allies have done what 700 years of sustained warfare could not in just a few days. They have started in motion a famine.

Anyway, each nation other than the RVP and Tsarkoye-Selo may send no more than 25,000 troops (not including soldiers operating mechanized vehicles), this way the RVP and Loyalist forces will be the main factors. Also, no one post ridiculously large amounts of forces to keep things fair.

I can sort of agree with that, but does 25000 include logistics troops too? And I think limits should only be applied to land forces, not air force or navy.

Tsarkoye-Selo, can you tell us anything more about your nation? All I know is that the rebels are at the southern tip of the island..... Anything like name and number of cities etc?

We are pulling our forces out of Tsarskoye-Tselo. The communist revoluteeonaries here are too corrupt and do not care for the people. They are not communists, they are a strain on our clean name.

All of the Empire of Mattooe's forces have left and are now out of the border.

the Emperor states, " we have lost enough, and allowed the rebels the upper hand now. All forces, It's time to come home!!!"

As rebel supporting nations begin to pull out of Tsarkoye-Selo the CCAF has decided that the time has come for it to withdraw as well.

Loyalist forces in Tsarkoye-Selo should be able to crush the remaining rebels now that they no longer have funding. Hopefully in the near future Tsarkoye-Selo will enter a period of peace.

The Empire of Japan pledges its full support in anyway possible in rooting out these Maoists. Russia is not only a major power in our region, but a ideological ally, if we can do anything to help drive away this foe, please honor us with this task.

With the rebels apparently well on their way to being suppressed and other priorities emergeing, the Taiwanese Islands military today decided to pull out all of her troops in the region.

The 3rd Division will now be stationed in Maryland, and the 5th Division on Taiwan. The 2nd Division, which was originally deployed at Taiwan to help the 1st Division with Homeland defenses, is now returned to Holland.

These soldiers returned back to their homes just in time for the Taiwanese Islands public holiday: Gold Coast Week, which starts from 5th to 10th of January this year.
