Dmitri Brezhnev flicked through the economy report, taking in every last note written down. He was more commited than the casual Josef Dorsal, which is why he had chosen to overview the Economic Report personally. He turned the freshly printed page, and glanced down to a scribble on the side; under the chapter concerning what Dorsal's government had sold out. FHG's gonna be pissed! was written in red pen in the margin. Dmitri took a mental note of that; he had the memory of an elephant. Turning the page slowly, he continued on the report....
Four Hours Later
The TV reporter talked in that droning voice that news reporters are prone to do.
Cats and Elves all over Hogsweat are demanding sovereignty and recognition as an indigenous republic. The government is yet to make a statement, but it is rumoured parliament is meeting tonight to-
Remebering suddenly what he had to do, Brezhnev had switched off the TV and gotten on the phone to Violi Vilitov, the foreign minister.
"Hi" he said shortly.
"Hello, Mr Vilitov speaking. Who's this?" Came the reply.
"Brezhnev" Another short sentence from Dmitri.
"Oh" This time it was the Foreign Minister's turn to speak shortly.
"Yeah, whatever, I just want you to send a message to FHG, and tell 'em that I want to meet with them about something. Pronto! Oh, and make it nice" Dmitri semi demanded.
"I see.... alright, i'll go make the call. Ta ta"
"Buh bye" Dmitri pressed the button to end the conversation, and hoped that Violi would start the letter now...
Actually, he wasn't. Violi was just getting ready to go out, but he would do it when he came back.
Seventeen Hours Later
Message Composed to; Menelmacari Corporation FHG
"Greetings from your investment of the Peoples Soviet Union of Hogsweat. I'll make it short; Comrade Dmitri Brezhnev, new Premier of the Soviet Union, wishes to meet with your representatives, in Dorsalgrad, ASAP, concerning economic business. Your plane will be cleared to land when it gives authorisation.
