The Agglomerate strikes in Red Tide2

The Agglomerate
27-12-2004, 00:16
(OOC; All of The Agglomerates attacks are approved by target players)

Even the best defenses could be beaten with subtlety, and Red Tide2’s was no different. All the work had been done in a foreign port, just a slight adjustment to the existing tanks, stuff that even the most competent port inspector would find only with days of time up close and personal with schematics and expensive equipment. And then, only one person on the ship knew what had been changed and why, the rest had no idea of the fiery death that awaited them. The LNG carrier slowly slid into position next to the pumps. It was Ironic really, the gas that would destroy this port would come from the country which would be most damaged by the attack. The tank full alarms sounded much sooner than expected but a quick inspection and a sounding of the tanks showed the same thing, the tanks were full early. “That’s good” thought the captain, a faster fill time meant a faster trip, which invariably meant a bonus, or so he thought. Meanwhile, in his cabin, John thought about things, he knew he was doing the right thing; nuclear disarmament benefited everyone, even the families of those about to die. He waited until he judged the ship was at the target point, the place where the detonation would have the maximum effect, we wondered at how easy it had been, so subtle, he thought about the irony of what was about to happen, how gas from this evil, mass destruction producing nation would be used towards cleansing the world of such evil as was produced here. He pulled out his cell phone and dialed the number he had committed to memory. It seemed like ages ago but in fact was only days. The phone rang, once, twice, it never rang a third time. The gas in the tanks was at a critical temperature, the cooling systems having been modified during the ships last overhaul, so easy, a few bribes, not even a million dollars and the cooling systems would turn off on remote command. The fill indicator had been lowered as well; the tanks were closer to three quarters full than one hundred percent full, the perfect oxygen/gas mix for an explosion. The top of the tanks had had an additional layer added so that when the tanks were sounded it would sound normal. The bottom layer of added plating gave way to a strip of incendiary devices attached to a cell phone; the phone at the other end of the number John had just dialed. All eight of the tanks lit simultaneously; cumulatively it was like a small nuclear device had just been detonated in the port of Crig.

A man, wearing a leisure suit and a ski mask, sitting in a nicely furnished room in a leather chair. He speaks with a pleasant, almost fatherly tone.
Tragedy has struck the nation of Red Tide2, a Liquid Natural Gas carrier, carrying a full load of propane from the facilities at Crig detonated unexpectedly, killing countless innocents, this attack was perpetrated by ruthless men, who have vowed the destruction of weapons of mass destruction and the people who use them, they have warned the people of this world of the dangers posed and have now demonstrated what they are capable of, they have said that if the beginnings of nuclear, biological and chemical disarmament are not made soon, then even more innocent people might have to die.

OOC:Was wondering when you were going to post this.
IC:The Supreme Commanders Estate, the next day.

The Supreme Commander walked down the hall. It was the morning and he was enjoying himself. The Economic Minister, Edgar Barett, approached him.

"EDGAR! Good morning! How are you!"

Edgar twitched a little and the grin dropped off the Supreme Commanders face.

"What happened this time?"

The Supreme Commander said seriously.

"The CEO of the Tech-Com Corporation called."

Edgar said,

"One of their LNS carrior ships blew up off the coast of Crig. They are still estimating the death toll."

The Supreme Commander grunted then yelled,

"FORGET ABOUT THE DEATH TOLL! WHAT OF THE ECONOMIC DAMAGE?! IF THE ECONOMY GOES OUR CUT OF THE CORPORATIONS PROFITS GO!"

"Several important cargo buildings were knocked down. So far the economic damage is in the billions. And the terrorists demands are simple. Disarm our WMDs."

The Supreme Commander grunted again.

"Get the Consortium on the anti-terrorist case. Seal off the area, say the tapes are just terrorists trying to take advantage of a situation and set up a 'investigation'. The result will be a fault... I dont know what kind, think of one!"

Deep in an unnamed Agglomerate training camp at an undisclosed location;

"Sir, they are attempting to discredit the attack by claiming we simply took advantage of a situation."

"Release the second tape, send the negetives to a suitable news agency so that tampering can be ruled out."

"At once."

: Hijacked onto Nation States News:

Clearly shown in the backgroung is Crig Harbor, undamaged, it is a typical busy day on the harbor and ships are passing across it freely and without concern. a man walks into the foreground wearing a ski mask and a leisure suit.
"It has been presented to me that my message about tommorows attack might be easily deflected as taking advantage of an unfortunate incident so I have been persuaded to prepare this defense, as you can see (gesturing) behind me is Crig Harbor, quite undamaged, I believe, if you look over the harbor after viewing this film, it will look not so well. If you examine all the stock footage and archived footage at your disposal, you will find that the harbor has never been filmed from this position, I kno because I carefully examined myself in order to choose a location that could not be faked. attempt to discredit me again and you will find that The Agglomerate can do much worse than simply detonating an LNS Carrier in your largest port, much worse."

A apartment building in the suburban area of Crig

A Consortium armored truck pulled up in front of the apartment. Escorted by two SWAT trucks and 5 SWAT cars. The sirens were off. No need to alert their quarry. The police sealed off the area and the back doors to the armored truck swung open. Consortium Agents, their eyes cold and hard, exited the truck and crept up to the front door. It was a pitch black night. Down the road a bunch of engineers cut off the power to the building. 30 seconds later a Consortium AH-1 Sparrow Helicopter with miniguns and a spotlight showed up. Its spotlight shown down on the building. The speaker attached to the window of the copter blared out.

"ATTENTION! This is the Consortium! The building is surrounded! Surrender immediatly!"

The a split second later the Consortium Agents turned off the safetys on their AR4 Assualt Rifle and XM-50 Submachine guns and then the point man kicked down the door and rolled a flashbang into the lobby. They waited for the flashbang to go off then poured into the building.

OOC:There are 10 Consortium Agents in total. They are very well trained.

"Flash Bangs in the lobby!"
"Shise What do we do?"

One of the terrorists reaches under the bed.
"We got these in after the explosion, not much but it's all we got."
He opened the case to reveal five, small boxes, each with a hole in one side and few swithes, clearly marked as 'fire', 'safe' and 'eject'.
"Apparntly a sponsor wants these tested for special operations, completely plastic and composite construction, adjustable barrel and action for mutiple calibers and a five round integral magazine. supposedly undetectable as a firearm. triggers here, magazine eject is here, resizing is here, should fire any pistol or assault weapon caliber, reload thusly and lets try and do some damage."

OOC; true story, I asked a guy for aid and he stuck me with these, heres the lowdown; the 'shot box' is not very acurate, largest bullet it will accept is .45 caliber pistol or .30 caliber rifle. right now they're loaded with 10 millimeter solids, each terrorist has two spare magazines for a total of fifteen rounds for each of the five terorists.

Hello RT2 still there? you wana do this or what?
Red Tide2
27-01-2005, 17:27
OOC:I forgot about this...
IC:

The Agents cleared the first floor without problems. They began to move up the stairs, aware and alert of their surroundings. Listening for the slightest sound and/or movement.
The Agglomerate

"Okay, it's okay, they've got SMG's we have crap on a stick, we can do this. All right, James, what abput the emergency escape?"
"Uh... Buildings surrounded, they have a Chopper... *peering carefully out the window* Okay, the chopper has really big guns on it."
"Okay, okay, I get it, we're doomed, okay people, anyone think we should try to go down fighting? No volunteers, okay, lay the weapons down, lets put our hands up and do what ever they tell us."

OOC: Were not religiously motivated so our operatives don't normally go out in blazes of glory, only a few sparks of notoriety every once in while, however The Agglomerate is very well organized and at best (for you) all they know is the pseudonym of their immediate supperior and the location of an abandoned training facility

OOC:Well... its a start... Wait until you see my torture methods though.
IC:Seeing the men coming out with their hands up, the Consortium Agents immediatly moved in cautiously... they could never be to careful. Handcuffs were slapped on, the rest of the building was checked, the men were hustled into the armored truck. As they were moved out a RTN(Red Tide News(Goverment run)) and NSNN(Nation States News Network) were video taping them live as reporters stood infront of the cameras. The last thing the men heard before the backdoors to their armored paddywagon swung closed was a female voice saying,

"These arrests is a great example of the efficiency of The Consortium..."

And then the truck doors closed and they were off, 10 Consortium Agents-keeping their weapons trained on the prisoners-on one side, (insert number here) prisoners on the other.

OOC: there are five Agglomerate agents, all surendered.

IC: Sir, the five agents in Red Tide2 were captured.

What do they know?

Not much but one of them was pretty smart, he may know a few things he's not technically cleared for.

Well shit, see if we can discredit them oor something. If they persist in questioning them try and stage a rescue operation.

Immediately.

The message was never replyed too... The van drove too Crigs Consortium Headqaurters, it drove past the bunker with the 25mm Autocannon and into a underground parking lot. They were hustled into a pitch black room with a 'directional lamp' and some chairs and a desk. They were strapped into the chair and the Consortium Agents left. Then a light clicked on and shown right into their face, it was very bright. A voice said, "How is it? A little to bright? Good." A G-Man walked around the desk so he was standing right infront of the terrorists. "Lets get down to buisness. We can do this the hard and fun way-for me... or the easy and boring way-for the both of us."

We know nothing, any locations or people we knew have probably already disapeared or switched identities.

The G-Man smiled at what he thought was a lie.

"The fun way it is then." He turned and walked over to the intercom.

"I would like a plastic knife and some nerve sensitizers."
The Agglomerate
05-02-2005, 00:18
A what and a what now? have't you people heard of sodium pentethol?
Red Tide2
05-02-2005, 16:53
"Nerve Sensitizers, a nifty little pill that will increase your sensitivity to pain a thousand fold." The G-Man said, a few seconds later a man carrying a plastic knife and a bottle of pills walked in. Opening the bottle the G-Man took a pill out, turned to one of the terrorists and said, "Now you can take it... or I can make you take it."
The Agglomerate
10-02-2005, 00:55
"What about the sodium pentethol?" squeeked the terrorist.

OOC: Sodium pentethol is more commonly known as truth serum, it neutralizes some chemical in the brain that has something to do with the ability to think creativly (and maybe something to do with desision making) anyway the net effect is that people drugged with sodium oentehol don't lie

alright information gained from interogation;
a training camp is located somewhere in the nation of Juitel and another might be located in Samaran.
the terrorists shared a training officer named Johnathan Moore who had a Free and United States accent.
they don't know where the raining camps are because they were drugged on the way in and out (which was by aircraft)

I'll go ahead and notify these guys that their names have come up in an interrogation
