"Today, our top story. The aliens who landed on Green Sun's soil and gave us the HyperJump technology have died, but for a good cause. Over ten nations are taking part in this project so far, and it seems to be growing rather quickly," Li told the camera.
"Also, a company from a nation who abandoned Earth for the stars some years ago is duplicating the technology. All nations who haven't recieved a HyperJump ship can contact Uziel Fastrin of UziCorp to claim their passage to the future," Jeff added.
"This just in...A small 7-million population nation called...What was it? Let's see here...Space Union. They have bought a Colony Ship from Green Sun for One Trillion dollars because UziCorp refused to give one to them, saying that they wouldn't 'Give their product to any hooligans wanting to go to Mars.' Green Sun and Space Union have agreed to let SU land on one of Green Sun's planned moons and inhabit the satellite, since it's a moon with an atmosphere," Li reported.
"It seems the first Green Sun ship is starting to countdown. Let's head to our correspondant, but first, everyone here at GSCN is going to the new planets, so we won't be returning to the station. All the machine have been set to automatic so you will still se what is happening. Most of you are already on the ships watching this, while millions of people in Risban are recording this event. God bless you all. Now, let's go to Joe Han," Jeff said solemnly.
"Thank you, Jeff and Li. We're all excited about this, Green Sun is the first of many to head for the stars from Earth. What will the future bring us? We just can't say. Now it seems the countdown has hit 50, so the Military pod is going to launch in about one minute, followed by the President's and his family. Let's watch," Joe Han said. He turned and looked at the huge, green spaceship. It was stories high with huge engines, enough to lift the craft.
"Ten...Nine...eight...Seven...Six...Five...Four...Three...Two...One. Aaand we have liftoff!"
The camera followed the ship as it rose toward the heavens. It took almost no time at all fore the ship to reach Space.
"We're jumping five...Four...Three...Two...One..."
The ship jumped.
"We're getting something from the tower...They were light-years off course, but they found two systems almost identical to the ones we picked out. Space Union's found it, too. We'll be a bit off-course, but we'll still be able to live there. I'm getting onto the ship, now, so we're going to air Risban's report on the event. The project itself was a success. Green Sun landed on the new planets they found and immediately started to build new homes and cities with teh materials provided to them by UziCorp. Temporary houses and building were given while Green Sun citizens and their goverment built their buildings and homes. Even Earnest Equanant built the new Green House, with help from Congress and his personal friends. Three planets have been inhabited and makeshift factories are being created. Reports say Space Union is doing fairly well in their building process, too. Green Sun was now a Galctic nation.
