The Triad Alliance - The Six Articles of Peace Between the Intergalactic Powers


This treaty, composed by The Unified Worlds of Siesatia representatives, will dictate policy, rules, and regulations in 6, simple articles. This will ensure the peace and cooperation between Siesatia, Balrogga, and DemonLordEnigma. Plus any other members who should join in the future...

Article 1:

~Cooperation of the three powers~

Subsection 1: Embassies will be immediately opened up in each country, for the use of the others. This is non negotiable.

Subsection 2: Trade will begin immediately if it is not already in action. Under the ESUS constitution, trade may not be barred; however, governments are encouraged to engage in active trading partnerships, on an International, and Domestic Level.

Subsection 3: Open travel of civilian, and small military convoys will be permitted in allied territory immediately, however, ships may be subject to search, under Implied Consent Act, the ship must comply with the check, or be Boarded/Destroyed.

Article 2:

~Times of War and Civil Unrest~

Subsection 1: In wars where the defensive nation is a member of the Triad Alliance, the other members must assist the defender in any way possible, unless requested not to, or is unable to.

Subsection 2: In wars where the offensive nation is a member of the Triad Alliance, the other members are not obliged to assist the offender unless it is a Triad Alliance Sanctioned war.

Subsection 3: In times of Civil Unrest, a nation can call upon the other members of the Triad to assist. The others, while not obliged to help with riot control or pacification. However, they are required to send at least:
30,000 relief workers
or
1 trillion Dollars
or
Supplies

After order has been restored, no matter if the new order results in a new regime change.

Article 3:

~Other Alliances~

Subsection 1: No member nation may join an alliance that would be detrimental to, or cause open opposition of the Triad Alliance.

Subsection 2: Prior alliances and/or treaties, currently being honored, or void at the signing of the Triad Alliance contract are not taken into consideration, unless such alliance is detrimental to the Triad Alliance, militarily, Diplomatically, or Commercially.

Article 4:

~The Temporal Accord~

Subsection 1: All member nations must sign the temporal accord, whether they use temporal technology or not.

Subsection 2: The member nations will not deviate from the temporal accord.


Article 5:

~Protectorates~

Subsection 1: Any nation that wished to apply for protectorate, or Client status, although not required to have Faster than Light technology, must establish a base in space available to the member nations.

Subsection 2: Article 2, Subsections one, two and three come into effect here.

Article 6:

~Decisions~

Subsection 1: Decisions must be made by a majority of the Triad Council.

Subsection 2: Decisions to change the Articles of the Triad, must be agreed upon by the entire council.

The Emperor sat at his ornate desk reading the proposed Treaty. He was carefully studying the document to see if there were any loopholes that might be a disadvantage. Finding none he accessed his Neurolink and began to dictate a message to send his two new Allies. The holo-screen displayed the message as he thought of the composition and wording, getting both to his satisfaction. Finishing, he sent it off to both Siesatia and DemonLordEnigma.

I have carefully gone through the Treaty and I feel it would be to our advantage to sign it and join with both you in an alliance. I will fully support the Treaty as long as it does not hinder the Empire. If it ever does I will take up the issue with you both so we may have an understanding before I take any other actions. My interest is for The Empire because I cannot support your two actions if I do not have a strong base first.

Another thing that seems to bother me is the Article Three, Subsection One. What about prior alliances.

Also I feel Protectorates should only be accepted after a successful vote among the Founders.

I will support the Treaty as it stands but I would also like these issues looked into.

THis alliance looks good but for me to join(i may be under 100 million people[i have strong allies]) i need protection and to know that I will be calling upon thee for help i expect you guys to come.

Well, you actually cant get yourself into trouble. and then expect us to get you outta it. If you are the aggressor, we don't have to have anything to deal with it. If you are the defender, we are obliged to assist in some way.

This clairifies things a bit

In order to apply you would first need to find a member nation to sponsor your aplication. The Sponsor would be responsible for your actions while you are under probation.

Under most circumstances, yes. However, you need a sponsor that is in the alliance.

Well, you need an already excisting member, to sponser you, or in other words, reccomend you for the alliance, and take responsibility for your actions, should you disrupt the NS community. (Polite way of saying piss everyone off)

You need to contact one of the three current members (DemonLordEnigma, Siesatia, or Balrogga) and convince them to sponsor you. The hardest part is tring to convince them you are not a threat to the alliance or their reputation since they would be trusting you not to soil theirs while you are on probation. After your porbationary period, you would be a protectorate. If you wanted to be a Member, you would have to go through the same process.

Protectorates can sponsor other protectorates but you need a member sponsorship to be a member (Two levels of "membership"). Also, a nation can only sponsor one other nation for either levels at one time.

Leaders may sponsor: 6 Nations at a time
Members may Sponsor: 3 Nations at a time
Protectorate Clients may sponsor: 1 Nation at a time

I was referring to the Protectorates sponsoring, not everyone. If he does get to join then he would be a protectorate but unable to sponsor anyone until their probationary period is completed.

I am requestiong the application for this Aliance that i see before me, Our nation be it humble and prosperous has just purchased a fleet of Riot Vehicles to strengthen our military forces.

We have also came to the conclusion that, if to survive, we are going to need more developed countries help.

As it saddens me to say our government has informed me to take the same approach as Xeraph.

We do not feel we should have to beg to become a part but should be taken under the wing from the same ideals. Even though we are a small propeous nation we are wealthy. We only seek to start out on the right foot but i have been informed by the higher ups that if you do not want us then we do not need you.

Really? Who would those 'Higher ups' be? Because if they are not in the alliance itself, it would not be wise to listen to them, as we don't share opinions of nations and their likelyhood to get in, outside the circle.

Each person will have their own way to determine if they want to sponsor a nation.

What does a country have to do in order to be considered for Alliance membership? Are there qualifying conditions? The Democratic Republic of Golgothastan is keen to expand its international relations.

Actually, there is not. All you have to do, is agree to the constitution, and have a current member vouch for you.

The Empire would like to request the Alliance Members consider Helveticuz as a Member to our Alliance.

We fully back this nation as an inductee.

I have been approached by two nations who wish to be considered for this alliance. As a Founding Member I have the ability to sponsor more than one nation. I have confidence in both their abilities to uphold our standards.

I have recieved horrible information today.

DemonLordEnigma has fallen in battle in Iraq.

She was one of the founding members of this alliance and will allways remain one. She will continue to occupy the third seat in the chambers forever.

That is the least we can do for her.


In the next few posts I would like members who have had contact with her over the months to say a few things about her.

The first time I met DLE was when Siesatia and myself responded to the Cherry Ridge incident. We were banded together defending the citizens of the island nation from "hostile religeous practices". The details can be searched for and this is not the time to bring up old scars, just memories.

DLE then joined ISEC as one of the FT nations helping flegling nations acheiving spaceflight along with Siesatia and myself. We continued that for some months until Christmas vacation made peiple forget about the thread.

During this time, we decided to form our own alliance together because our three nations complemented each other so well. We each constructed a third of the station that was to serve as the HQ for the Triad Alliance.

DLE also joined with ESUS and was a valued member there.


I set forth this proposal that all holding of DLE be put under the authority of the Triad Alliance to be forever run by Enigma in her absence and fully defended in her memory by any of her fellow aliance members. If this does not pass I will take her nation under my protective wing and do so alone in her memory. DLE will remain in memory of all the good deeds she has done for my nation and her friends.
