Enemy within [Earth II]
"A PTR television station documentary on the recent conflict with Neo-nazi rebels, which were put down by federal forces. Last 30 minutes of the documentary. Correspondent Viktor Stepanov"
Correspondent: ....And so our troops dug in, right here in the Kolokolian forest, near the western border.....
"Correspondent moves his arm in the direction of the small wooden wall, only about a meter high, which was made out of trees found in that same forest."
The initial surveilance reports of the enemy troops stated that enemy only had a small supply of firearms, while in reality, each enemy soldier was equiped either with AK-74 assault rifle or Dragunov SDV sniper rifle. Also there were quite a few artillery pieces found in the area. The troops were holding out against an enemy almost twice their size. But we had the support of 2S1 artillery, about two full batteries. Federal troops although outnumbered were mostly on the offensive during this incident. But what finally put an end to this was a initiated napalm strike which smoked out the enemy, broke their ranks, made them ran in random directions, while the forest was burning. By that time all the Nazi rebels in the cities and other areas of Pushka were either eliminated or put in prisons.
Our soldiers have defeated our enemy, but nobody knows who supplied our enemies. Nobody knows if they will comeback. This is truly an enemy within.
"Two young soldiers were standing on guard at one of the Pushkan military posts near Pushkan eastern border."
Soldier1: Hey Andrey, you got a smoke?
Andrey: Yes of course, just don't forget that you owe me... for a while now.
Soldier1: Don't worry, i remember.
"Andrey (Soldier2) gave his comrade a smoke and a light. Andrey's partner took a long puff."
Soldier1: Eh my mother is my woman (Russian expression, means disconcern with present situation).
Andrey: Vitya, there are you actually from?
"Vitya (Soldier1) sneezed rapedly"
Vitya: Oh, i am from Lebedevo, small village, as far away from the capitol as possible. And you are if i remember correctly, from Komorovo?
Andrey: Yeah, thats right.
Vitya: Eh, you got a girl?
Andrey: Who doesn't?
Vitya: Thats true. How is she?
"Vitya made a forward movement with his lower body, then a backward movement, then a forward movement again. Andrey smiled"
Andrey: Like a fucking machine. If she was as commited to milking the cow as to the sex, i'd be rich. (blunt russian army joke)
Vitya: Haha, and i am not so lucky, mine is butt ugly, but i got her pregnant one night then me and my brothers finally build our own moonshine making machine. So i am stuck with her from then on. My pride (penis) been shrinking ever since.
Andrey: Hahahaha.
What time is it?
Vitya: Almost morning, they should be replacing us soon.
Andrey: Good, good.
"Suddenly Andrey fell down with a bullet in the head. Vitya took a few random shots into the darkness but heard nothing. The whole barrack was woken up after hearing his shots."
"Sergeant Orlov commander of this outpost ran to the scene, it was obvious that he just woke up, he forgot to put his shirt on so he had to continuously rub himself to keep from freezing."
Sergeant: What the hell is happening here, fuck your mothers!
Vitya: He was shot comrade sergeant, i did not hear the shot, he just fell down with a bullet in his head.
"A couple of douzen soldiers, who took time to put all their clothes on joined the scence."
Sergeant: Okay everyone, no more sleep, scan the area, i want the head of whoever did this!
"Soldiers ran back into the barracks to grab their guns and went on patrol of the area."
After a night of patroling, nobody was found. Incident was reported to the higher command, and they started an investigation. The bullet analysis confirmed that the shot was fired from somekind of small arm with a silencer.
"General Shtropov was a head of secret service. At about 9 pm saturday night he was leaving his workplace and just got to his car then a person wearing a black coat aproached out of the shadows and gave him a package.
Inside the package Shtropov found a tape recorded. He drove home, climbed the stairs of his apartment building and ran into his apartment. He quickly said hello to his wife and ran into the bathroom telling her and his children to not disturb him. He turned on the tape recorder."
"A man's voice was on the recording, he spoke in Pushkan (Russian), with some strange kind of accent"
???: Agent B succesfully integrated into the enemy network. As a test he killed one of the enemy soldiers. Our plans seem to be working. You will receive a sum of 15 million rubles if you are succesful at completing our next mission.
We want you to kill the president. Our forces are accumulating in a great number, thanks to you weapons are being supplied. The only thing left is to cut off the head of the snake, president Ivan Mishin must die if nazism is to prevail!
For fatherland, do your best, or you'll be terminated. Our attack will begin at 20 pm tomorrow, we expect you to do your duty by then.
"Recording ended, Shtropov took a deep breath.
So it has come to this. I am a traitor, maybe its easier to just shoot myself...but no, no, thats what they want. I must do whats asked of me
he went to bed but couldn't sleep all night"
"Next morning he got up, put on his uniform. Ate breakfast, kissed his wife goodbye and went to work. He worked at Kremlin, the same building president worked in, and today was the day then he was to deliver the monthly national security report directly to the president.
Those Nazi bastards, how did they know that today is the day? They must have their agents inside Kremlin. Thats means i am in immediate danger.
He got out of his car and went into his office. The guards saluted him, he saluted back. Once he reached his office he spent whole day collecting national security papers, to finish up his report. As an officer he had a Grach pistol. Once it hit 1940 hours, he went to meet hte president. He entered his office. Heads of other branches of the military were already done with their reports, the last one of them was leaving. The door shut behind Stropov, inside the room there were two guards in full body armor and armed with AEK-971s.
I don't have a chance, they will kill me. This won't work
President: Sit down.
"Stropov set down in the chair opposite from the president"
President: So how is our national security doing.
"Stropov was sweating like a pig. His fat face was all wet. He slowly put he has end on his holster. President's eyes widened"
President: What is the meaning of this!
"Stropov got out his gun and shot the president, president tried to dodge, but was hit somethere in the chest. Two guards shot Stropov immideately. Medices hurried in but they were to late, Stropov was dead. President had a weak pulse and they quickly took him into the closest hospital for treatment.
At 20:00 hours all hell broke loose. Thousands of men and women with shaved heads started storming the cities all over the country, they were armed with mostly AK-47s/74s. They had some artillery, some stingers, some tanks. Everybody was to confused to have time to notice anything. The police took heavy casualties all over the country. At the same time, Supremeam commander of the Pushkan army fell dead from poisoning, small groups of Pushkan resistance started forming, military was in first hours unaware that enemy attacked the country because no one reported anything to them. Enemy within finally showed his true face. An era of unrest began."
OOC: If any Earth 2 nation wants to join in, please do so now.
OOC: I'm just a little confused here. Is it an invasion, a military coup, an uprising?
OOC: I'm just a little confused here. Is it an invasion, a military coup, an uprising?
OOC: Little bits of everything. Don't worry, i intended for you to be confused at this point.
OOC: OK, count me in.
IC: In the newly constructed Electorial Palace in Cotlandstad, the leader of the Commonwealth of Cotland, Thomas Rothsky, ate breakfast. Suddendly, a military aide entered the dining-room and approached Rothsky. In his left hand was a note. After the aide had finished saluting the leader and CinC of the Cottish military, he handed the note to Rothsky, and quickly saluted yet again before leaving. Rothsky looked a little puzzled at the note, but quickly started to read the note. It had to be something important since they handed it to him during a meal.
Large military activity in Pushka. Military in streets. Possible coup.
Request your presence in Situation-room ASAP.
Signed General Hawke
Rothsky immediately got up, and virtually ran down the corridor to the elevator, followed closely by 2 soldiers from the Electorial Guards (1th Infantry Brigade, responsible for the life of the Elected Leader and other high-ranking officials).
As the blast-proof elevator doors opened in the underground bunker 60 metres below street level, Rothsky walked the 40 metres to the Situation-room where all the Generals and Admirals and National Security Advisors stood up when he arrived.
Rothsky: Talk to me.
The Chief of the Army rose.
General Hawke: Sir, today at 05.37 Cottish our satellites picked up troops moving thru the cities in Pushka. Intel is still unclear at the present time, but unconfirmed reports from operatives in Pushka tells us that the president has been shot, possibly dead. As you remember sir, Pushka was ridden with attacks by neo-nazis. They were repelled and most were executed in the streets, the same old Pushkan method used since the nation was created. A theory is that the neo-nazis are back in business.
Rothsky looked at the General, then at the others in the room. They all nodded approvingly.
Rothsky: Options?
National Security Advisor Joan Greene spoke up.
Greene: We send a communique to Pushka, asking what's going on. Implying that we are willing to assist. General Hawke?
Hawke: The troops we can send that are ready for deployment are the 2nd division, 32nd transport wing and 2nd surveilance squadron.
Rothsky: Send the communique.

We will apreciate any assistance you may provide. As of right now we are almost completely scattered. Our force is emence, a total of 2 miliion combat troops, but we can only contact and give orders to few divisions. Whoever prepared this attack was preparing for a long time. They bribed or threatened all the right people. A special signal was sent to our satelite and to our radio wave receivers. It was a secret signal used by our miltary to initiate a total shut down of radio transmissions. Our troops are leaderless. we request your help. Our main objective right now is to get our orders to as many troops as possible and after that we can concentrate our forces and smite the enemy. If Pushkan armies unite then nazis will not proove much of opposition, but since we are scattered, our hands are tied. Once again we apreciate any help. Our plan right now is to use the forces we have direct control off and fight through the nazi lines, accumulating new and new scattered Pushkan forces around our group. We have a total of 15000 men under our command at this point. However other generals and army commanders who we do not have contact with might be doing the same thing as us, but we can not hope for the best at this point. Number of rebel troops was never completely accounted for. All we know is that its many thousand. But perhaps you can use your satelites to get that information, for ours are blocked. If you do get that information please tell us, also if you wish to help us send us the updates on enemy movement and positions. Let us hope that its not too late.

We understand your sitiation, but need to know who is on your side, and who we can... well, shoot... What are your and the enemy's strategic situation, which arms do you have, how we can recognize your men, etc.?
The orders has gone out to the 2nd division with it's logistics "train" to deploy to Pushka immediately. The first troops should arrive within 36 hours. Please make arrangements for landing strips for the transports.
We can offer long-range stealth bombers (check my signature) that can be fitted with propaganda leaflets that can be dropped over your cities and elsewhere.
The rest can be sorted out when we get there. The Cottish commanding officer will be Major General Guiseppe Giovanni, a veteran from the Belarusan war. He will arrive at your headquarters in a few days.
Also, the satellites in orbit is constantly over Pushka. We are getting live feed from them as we speak. We'll come back to you with more as we get it.

Somewhere over Pushka, 05.18 Local time
Stand by! Get up! Face me! Check! Are you ready?!
72 OK!
71 OK!
70 OK!
The men of the 4th company, 2nd battalion, 8th Airborne Infantry Brigade were about to be the first Cottish combat units in Pushka. The men checked their parachutes, XM-8A4 Paratroop rifles, FN Five-seveNs, ammo, and all the rest of the equipment. They had what they wore. Support vehicles would arrive 1,5 hours after the company had landed.
They were air-dropping out of an C-130J over the capitol building alongside the rest of the battalion, where they were to secure the parliament building and wait for friendlies to arrive.
Captain Powell: OK fellas. This is it. The day we've been training for. Remember your training, keep an eye on the fella next to ya, and watch your ammo, and you'll be fine. Good luck to you all. Stand by!
The cargo hatch in the rear of the airplane was open, and the men waited for the green light to flick on. Seconds seemed like hours.
Load master: GO GO GO!!!
And the men rushed out of the aircraft.
---telegram from General Makarov, supreme commander of Pushkan forces----
Our force use AK-108s as a standard weapon, special ops divisions use AEK-971. Artillery, we use 2S1, jet fighters, PJF-01, tanks, T-95, we also use diffrent kinds of equipment but this should be enough for you to identify our troops. Enemy troops do not wear a uniform and have a completely shaved head. We must establish contact with other Pushkan forces. There are 2 million men out there who are ready to fight but are scattered. Also we expect citizens resisting the nazi rebels in the cities. I will leave few douzen men in personel on this base, and will myself lead the 15000 men of first Pushkan army into battle.
END TELEGRAM
"General Makarov is standing infront of his troops outside of the secret army compound. It is freezing outside, and it seems that a blizzard is starting up"
General: Lets move.
"And they moved, a seemingly endless river of men were moving out of hte compound. They only had few artillery pieces, almost no provisions, but they couldn't wait, for if they waited it could have been to late.
Makarov's plan was to break the enemy line and get to the capitol, regroup with whatever troops they meet on the road, and then establish radio contact with the rest of the army by using a transmission tower located in the capitol.
And so they went. It was only a couple of hours till they ran into enemy opposition. enemy artillery started shooting at Pushkan troops rapedly. All they could do was run towars it as fast as they could. Then machine gun fire broke the silence. Pushkan soldiers started falling like butterfiles. Until finally Pushkan artillery hit and destroyed 3 machine bunkers, allowing Pushkan troops to break through the line and completely destroy the enemy. Pushkan army lost a total of 70 troops, rebels lost 350.
Pushkan forces did not have time to waste, they continued to move after putting the dead in the ground and giving first help to the wounded.
First reinforcement arrived once they moved about 3 kilometers east of the place there they encountered Nazi resistance. It was a small village, and gun shots could be heard coming from it. Pushkan forces ran into the village and saw that about 15 Pushkan soldiers were fighting off Nazis coming into the village from the east. After Oushkan first army joined in, the Nazis had to retreat. The leader of the 15 pushkan soldiers fighting in the village of Karkovo was summoned to see the general.
general: Coffee?
Soldier: Yes..thank you
General: Whats your name and rank?
Sodier: Leonid Stepanovich, upper luntenant a commander of 7th batalion of 2nd division of third Puskan army.
General: There are the rest of your men? There is the 3rd army?
Leonid: About 4 days ago 3rd Pushkan army (20000) men were breaking through the enemy lines, we were moving towards capitol
General: good, good, its as i thought other army groups will do the same as us. Continue..
Leonid: Ah hmm, oh yeah, we broke through the lines, and it all seemed well. My batalion was attacking the Nazis on the Right flang. But unlucky for us they were retreating in our direction so hundred men under my command had to fight their whole damn force, about 8000. And the rest of 3rd Pushkan army was pushing them towards us from the other side, and trying to isolate a part of them while breaking their group down the middle. And so we had to retreat ourselves. I lost 50 men while trying to run away, plus 35 more died then we were fighting for this village.
General: What of the 3rd Pushkan army? Where are they?
Leonid: Probably still moving towards the capitol, me and what i had left of my troops got separated from the main force then the blizzard hit. Even our most simple communication devices don't function.
General: Okay, good man, you free to go.
The Cottish paratroopers landed just a few hundred meters from their target: the Pushkan Parliament.
Suddendly, all hell broke loose. 3 men were down already. The men of 3d platoon ran like greased lightning bolts over to the side of the nearest building, taking fire from across the street.
One of the downed men was the officer in the platoon, Lt. Rives. As 2 i/c, Sergeant Lewis took command.
Sergeant Lewis: Enemies, 2 o'clock. 1 MG nest and a few infantry. Jones, Bradley, you two take flanking positions and take out that damn nest while the rest of us provide supressing fire. On three.
The two men nodded and crawled into positions.
Sergeant Lewis: Ready... 1. 2. THREE! SUPRESSING FIRE! The sergeant cried out as he emptied his XM-8A4 on the Nazis. So did the rest of the squad. Jones and Bradley ran like hell, lobbing handgrenades and emptying their sidearm clips into the Nazis.
After seven seconds of hectic exchange of fire, a cry got the attention of the Cots: Currahee! The motto of the company. Immediately, the men rose quickly and ran to the destroyed nest, where Jones and Bradley were busy checking the Nazi corpses for any hidden weapons, intel or other things worthy of their attention.
Cpl. Jones: Sir, enemy MG nest destroyed. No enemy survivors. Pfc. Bradley got a bullet in his leg, but he'll be fine. Doc's looking on it now sir.
Sgt. Lewis: Good son. It looks like we're going to have to take this one block at a time. Take three men and get to the next block. We'll be right behind you. Lead the way Jones. .
Jones nodded, selected three men to go along with him, and crouch-ran along the side of the wall, getting as much cover as possible. They got to the next block without difficulty, eliminating three nazis swiftly as they went along. Soon, they were followed by the rest of the platoon. The parliament were only a few meters away now. According to Private Klivton's eyes, there were 2 MG nests on top of the stairs, and at least 40 nazis guarding the entrance. They couldn't use the element of surprise. That had been lost in the skirmish with the first MG nest. Sgt. Lewis crawled up to Klivton.
Sgt. Lewis: What do you see?
Pvt. Klivton: 2 MGs, at least 40 skinheads sir. Looking all cocky and shit.
Sgt. Lewis: Looks like we have to use smoke grenades and attack with all possible force we can muster. Good job son. Now, fix bayonets.
A few moments later, 10 smoke grenades flew over the plaza in front of the Parliament building, blocking the view for the skinheads. At the same time, 3 XM-8A3 SAWs opened up. 17 nazis were cut down in the first salvo. Then, 29 Cottish paratroopers attacked from the flanks, bayonets fixed. It was a carnage. All the nazis were killed, as well as 9 Cottish soldiers. In addition, 12 soldiers were wounded, 2 hard.
The doors opened, and the Cots ran inside, splitting up into pairs. They started securing the exits and clearing the building of nazis. Soon after 1th platoon and 2nd platoon came, assisting in securing the building. After two hours, the building were secured, and the Pushkan officials held captive inside were free. Along with them were the Pushkan elected representatives.
Losses:
12 soldiers dead
18 soldiers wounded
79 Nazis killed.
3 nazis wounded and taken prisoners.
OOC: Okay so you're in the captil, good. President and the defense ministry are in Kremlin (no its not Moscow, Kremlin isn't a name of jsut that building in Moscow, its name of a type of a building) well not president. President is in the hospital in a coma, but you don't know there. My guys will be joining you soon, they are still fighting through the Nazi lines surrounding the capitol.
IC:
Rotni: ZA RODINU!!!!!! (FOR MOTHERLAND!!!!!)
"Thousands of bodies rose up from the ground and with screams "URA!!!!" charged at the Nazis. Suddenly ground started exploding under the Pushkan soldiers."
Soldier: This is a fucking minefield!!
"Those were his last words as a bullet peirced through his neck."
Rotni: Do not stop until you get to the enemy!
"Another explosion about 3 more soldiers died. By that time Pushkan army under command of General Makarov already counted 50000 men. Few more soldiers fell, the rest continued running. Pushkan artillery kicked in. They were shooting at the land ahead of Pushkan forces in order to blow up the mines. Finally Pushkan soldiers reached enemy positions. And hundreds of soldiers jumped into the trenches. Byonets, bullets, knives, fists, teeth, everything was used in that brutal battle.
Oleg Kulakov, a private in the Pushkan army. Clashed with the enemy. His opponent was about the same age as him, maybe a little bit younger. Oleg Pierced his throat with a bayonet and fired few rounds into the other nazis around him.
This was a massacre after about an hour the battle ended.
780 Pushkans dead
1300 Wounded, 129 hard
4081 Nazi's dead
5227 wounded, 759 hard
47349 Nazis taken hostage, all were executed or put into interrigation camps
As the new day began Pushkan soldiers could see Voronej, capitol of Pushka. They broke through. They did know yet that a force of more then 1 million under command og General Kutuzov was succesfully clearing the cities west of the capitol and that another million divided in small groups of soldiers were doing the same in cities south and north of the capitol. Airforce, artillery and tank divisions were waiting for command. But for now all the Pushkan forces under command of general Makarov knew was that they broke through, and there is an even tougher fight ahead of them.
Hills outside Voronej, 05.48 Lima
The 21th Armoured Brigade stood ready on the hills outside Voronej, ready for the assault on the capitol. Cottish paratroopers had already captured the Parliament building, releasing the representatives, so there were at least one position secured. One less problem to think about, Colonel Danny Obston thought.
His 150 M1A2 Abrams MBT, 400 M2A3 Bradley IFVs, 64 AH-64A/Ds and 12 OH-58Ds were going to have a happy day today. They had taken up positions on the right flanke of the Nazi positions. They were ready to strike whenever the order was given.
They were going to add another victorious star to their regimental standart.

A Cottish V-22 Osprey had flown off to the Pushkan HQ, carrying Major General Guiseppe Giovanni, the Cottish battlefield commander, 30 satellite radios and 5 crates of Cottish Vodka. The generals orders were to establish contact with the Pushkans, hand out radios and satellite images, and liase with them.
Other helicopters were out scouting for Pushkan forces, carrying orders to them from the Pushkan High Command.
Parliament Building, Voronej, 05.50 Lima
The men of the 4th company were as ready as they could be. They had secured the surrounding blocks and constructed make-shift defencive positions, utilizing captured enemy MGs and mortars. 2nd Company was going to assault the Kremlin later today, and the 5th Company was going to reinforce the 1th Company as they were to assault the City Hall.
The HMMWVs and M-113s had finally arrived, and were carrying men from one position to another as well as reinforcing positions with heavy fire-power. Also, Cottish and Pushkan fighterbombers were flying CAS for them.
Cottish "interrigaton experts" had arrived, and were busy in the basement trying to pump the Nazis for any intel they could possibly have. One had already broken, even before the sleep-depravation period was over. they had fixes on nazi strongholds throughout the city. Once the Pushkans and the 59th and 99th Infantry came, they could clean up the city once and for all.

Makarov: You drink then you sniff on the onion.
General Makarov poured the shot into his throat and sniffed on the salted onion. After the bottle was done, generals started talking business.
Makarov: Alright according to these images Pushkan forces are fighting the NAzis all over the place. This war is already won, just like the last time and the time before that. This time we need to learn who is behind this, who bribed the officials, who delivered the weapons to the Nazis, who organized them?! Unfortunately all those who were suspected of being bribed commited suicide on the day after the invasion. That we know for sure. Our president is okay, he is going to be fully healed in about a week. We need to take one of the organizers of this whole mess alive. But for now lets just clear this city and finish this rebelion. My forces go from the east, yours can go from the west, they meet in the center of the city, near Kremlin. According to your satelite images there are about 70000 rebels in the city. The bad thing is that we can't just bomb it. Our people's history is tied with that city, and is forbiden. That means that we only go in with troops, good thing is that they don't have any artillery in the city either. The supply train that was carrying the artillery into the city was succesfully destroyed by Pushkan airforce. Okay so this is the plan. You got any suggestions, or anything to add at all?

General Giovanni sat down. His face had several fures that stood out especially now when he was consentrating. Finally, he spoke.
Gen. Giovanni: We need to move in fast and hard. Don't let them get the time to reorganize or form a defence.
"Okay then, its settled. We need 3 hours to organize our troops so lets do so once we both ready."
"cotlandian general left. Pushkan army spent next 3 hours organizing, after that Gneeral Makarov spoke to the troops on a loudspeaker"
General: Your motherland is proud of you comrades, this is the last push, be brave. FOR MOTHELAND!! KILL THE NAZI BASTARDS!!!
Soldiers:URA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"and the ran, the number of troops under Makarov's command by then reached almost 64 thousand. Enemy machine guns started cracking right after Pushkan forces entered the city. Pvt. Oglobov borke into to the closest apartment building to avoid the machine gun fire. About 10 more men did the same as him."
Pvt. Oglobov: Who is the commanding officer?
Sergeant Krivoi: Me, okay we need to take out those machine gun nests. Ivanov are you here?
"A soldier with a sniper rifle came closer to the sergeant"
Sergeant: Go on the second floor, try to take them out. You and you follow him.
"Ivanov went up the stairs along with two other soldiers."
Sergeant: Okay our forces are spread across a 20 kilometer perimeter that means, that means that we gonna support if we need it. I want to more snipers on the roof to monitor the Nazis and shoot them as they come. The rest of us are gonna sit here and wait for that machine gun nest to disappear.
"Two more men with sniper rifles ran up the stairs."
Sergeant: Ivanov, fuck you mother, is that nest taken out yet?
"Ivanov replied yelling from the second floor"
Ivanov: Yes comrade Sergant, total 3 enemy soldiers dead.
Sergeant: Okay good job, go on the roof, help the guys who are already there. The rest of you go to that machine gun nest and establish a base for our next attack. Don't forget to turn the machine guns around. Okay lets move.
"the small squad got to the machine gun and turned it around. Pushkan soldiers were running around everythere. All 15 men were near the machine gun nest then a 15 year old skinhead, with a bazuka came out of one of the apartment buildings. One of the snipers on the roof spoted him and pulled the trigger. But it was too late. The rocket hit the nest and all 15 men died, along with their killer. During all this hell Pushkan forces were advancing deeper and deeper into the city and taking more and more ground. Citizens of Voronej were aiding them by telling there the Nazis were ambushing the troops. A few squads were patched together out of civilian volunteers."
The Cottish tanks and IFVs rolled across the battlefield in over 70 KpH, shooting both their main guns and their MGs at the enemy. Several RPGs flew against the tanks, and even though most missed, 3 tanks and 5 IFVs had been destroyed or damaged so much that they had to be abandoned.
The Cottish Air Force provided cover from above. An AC-130 Spectre gunship flew overhead, firing into the enemy lines. Also, a total of 24 Apaches came up from behind the trees and started to open fire with their 30mm automatic cannons and 2,75 inch Hydra rockets. The show of force was spectacular, and on more then one occasion Pushkan soldiers were rescued from certain death by Cottish tanks or helicopters.

The situation inside the city was getting better and better. 10 Apaches and 4 Kiowa’s had started flying strafing runs inside the city, taking out Nazi checkpoints and MG- and mortar-nests. The 8th Airborne were all inside the city, having taken back most of the government buildings, police stations and hospitals. When they liberated the Kremlin, they found the Pushkan High Command alive, and got them a radio in which they could give orders to their troops, who had also gotten radios from Cottish troops.
The 99th Infantry had been ordered to mop up resistance in the southern part of the country, while the 56th was doing the same in the northern part of the country. The inhabitants had greeted the Cots with happiness and trust, and the feelings had been mutually returned.
Major General Giovanni was waiting for the CH-53 to come pick him up. He was heading to Voronej, where he would establish a proper HQ. The 29th MP Company and the 1t Battalion, 8th Airborne had secured a hotel in the middle of the city, in which the Cottish HQ would be.

The Hilton was a 30 floor hotel, complete with cable, broadband internet access and room service. It also had a large plaza in front of it, and a 3 level parking area. It was perfect for the Cots. Soon, General Giovanni would throw a victory party for the Pushkan and Cottish senior officers.

OOC: Good job making this end quickly, although i wanted this battle to last for a couple more posts. Go into detail and all of that. But sure, whatever. Also i didn't use tanks and helecopters cause all of those divisions are freeing Pushkan cities in other areas of the country.
IC:
"Makarov and the rest of the Pushkan and Cotish commanders were on the top floor of the hotel"
Makarov: Great news everyone. Our satelites and communication systems are functioning again. We just got word from all parts of Pushka. Enemy is being destroyed. And what is more important we now know who was respornsible for this. We interigated a man named Leonid Benchmark. He told us the truth.
It turns out there was a secret society from the time then Pushka turned communist. They were plotting the overthrow for hundreds of years. But now their plans are completely destroyed. Let us celebrate.
"Everyone raised their glasses"

IC:
Yeah, well my plan was to take the city and all that quick, but then there would be a little resistance fighters. Think Iraq 2004.

OOC: Yeah well i didn't no that so my troops were kind of belittled by you in the process. I wanted it to be quick but resonable and detailed. But its all good since its over. Thx for the help, mate.
IC: "President Ivan Mishin has recovered from the recent assasination attempt and spoke on the press conference concerning the conflict."
President: We won comrades, we have over come. No longer will plague of fascism bother us, we have over come it. I thank our ally Cotland and say that their soldiers fought along side hours, and done a great service to Pushka. They can all go home now. Let the healing begin!
Total looses
7349 men
OOC: Sorry for rushing it. I just wrote down a lot of stuff when I had the time. A lot of RL stuff, ya know. Anyway, I'll stop RP stuff now.
IC: At FAS November, the orders to seize all hostile actions were received by the troops with cheers and a singing of the national anthem. Later that day, there would be a memorial service in honor of the men who lost their lives. The following day, C-5B Galaxy’s, C-141B Starlifters and C-130J Hercules transports started to load up troops and equipment for transport back to Cotland. Trains loaded up the tanks and other heavy equipment and started to head back to Cotland. Full withdraw was expected to be complete within 5 days.
Elected Leader Thomas Rothsky sends his heartfelt congratulations to the Pushkan president, and hope to establish proper diplomatic contact by establishing a Cottish embassy in Voronej, and a Pushkan embassy in Cotlandstad. We wish to send monetary support to Pushka in order to assist in the rebuilding of anything damaged or destroyed by the Cottish troops, tanks or airplanes. Enclosed in this telegram, you will find 350 billion dollars
