12/25/04 The night of the bloodshed (Semi-Open RP)
It was a cold, dark, and snowy night. Most of the government workers had the day off, and the leaders of the KAI, Kahtan's Against Imperialism, knew that it was the perfect time to seize key government buildings. They had some weapons, not enough, but enough to overwhelm the guards. Unfortunetly for them, it was not going to be enough, because the government knew what was going on.
As the protestors approached with their weapons, snipers on the top of nearby buildings opened fiire. People fell everywhere, as the rebels dropped to the ground, mortar fire fell into the crowd, hundreds were killed instantly. The few protestors with weapons took cover under bodies and starting shooting at snipers, but their efforts were in vain... 14 KAPC-1's were approaching the crowd from the front, as KT-3's rolled towards the flanks, and mechanized infantry came from behind...

The General in command of the 45,500 soldiers of the Victoria Fabus SRG division, stationed in Kahta, had only a short reply to make.
"Who cares, it's your country and your people, have at them, kill the commie bastards."
The first platoon of tanks moved forward, coaxial .50 cals. blazing, the hull mounted 50's were too as well, killing anyone that approached. A few tanks were armed with flamethrowers too, to push back anyone that tried to escape. The KAPC-1's were all blazing away with their twin gatling guns, the guns were aimed slightly into the ground to prevent bullets from htting any friendlies.
[A totally unasked for correction, but in NS the date is actually December 25, 2775.]

Ooc- I have yet to think of a name for him, but after the "Rape of Kahta" (not all of Kahta of course, just the towns full of poor people and such, and other approved targets, I'll have to get him a name and profile, he'll be infamous)

I'll tell my men to cease fire and quarantine the area so your men will have a run at them, after my men do. I only sent about 4,000 men to the operation.

Suddenly the firing ceased. There were at least 25,000 dead, over 50,000 injured, and most people were lying down, pretending to be dead. At least 15 Sevarisian nationals were amoung the dead...
A voice suddenly erupted: "Orders from the King are for all women to walk towards the capital building, all men to walk south. If you refuse to comply you will be shot."
