The Election of the Ottoman Parliament

The time of the Elections for the Ottoman Lower House of the Parliament had come. The terms of the Prime Minister and Praetor were up, and if they wanted to keep their position, they had to run against who ever want the job.

Side Note the House of Viziers is the Upper House and the Parliament is the lower house.

In the meeting of the Parliament, to find the candidates for offices of Praetor and Prime Minister

“Those who wish to run for the office of Praetor and Prime Minister may speak now!” said the Speaker of the Parliament

Prime Minister Uthman Bin Bashir (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v504/Ottoman01/baltar.jpg) rose up and said” I Prime Minister Uthman Bin Bashir of the Reformist Party announce my second run for the Prime Minister of the Ottoman Empire.”

“Is this all for the candidates for the office of Prime Minister?”ask the Speaker of the Parliament

No one rose up
“Now for those who wish to run for the office of Praetor, may speak now!” said the Speaker of the Parliament

There no more candidates stand up for to announce their bid to run.

Info: The Hawks were the one who push to retake the old lands of the Ottoman Empire and gain more land for Empire.

Info: One of the largest Parties in the Ottoman Empire, they support the reforms of Empire. Their main goal is to maintain the Empire at all cost.

Al Muslimeen Party (Base in Ottoman North Africa, Ottoman Arabia, Ottoman Iran-Afghanistan, Sind, Punjab and Kashmir)(Centrist pro Right wing)
Info: Main goal is to unite all the Muslims of the world peaceful under the banner of Khaif.

Socialist Progressive Party (Base in Bulgaria Romania, Hungary)(Left wing)
Info: To give more support to the welfare and help the poor out by making programs to support them.

Hezbollah Party (The Meaning of this word is Party of God)(Popluar base in Ottoman Al Sham.)(Centist closer to the Right wing)
Info:Main goal is to defend and fight for Muslims that being beated and killed.Also to manintain the unity of the State.

Mujahideen Party(Bosnia,Alabnia,Northen Greece,Turkey,Ottoman North Africa,Ottoman Arabia.)(Centist pro right wing)
Info:To fight for the Jihad to speard the message and maintain the state.

Imperialist Ottoman Party(Base in Serbia,Romania,Bulgaria, and Greece,Ottoman Austria)(Imperialist Hawks)
Info:There veiws are related to the War Hawks,But belive that the Ottoman Empire must contantly expand its borders of Nation.

Note: The roles of the Praetor and Prime Minister as of the following

Prime Minister- - Is third in Power. He as power to first the bill for a vote. The Prime Minister call cans a meeting of parliament anytime. He as the power to declare a state of Emergency, if the Sultan and Grand Vizier are killed or unable to be contacted. The term of the Prime Minister is 4 years. The People of the Ottoman Emprie elect the Prime Minister. He can approve the budget of the Ottoman Empire. He is the Head of the Parliament

Praetor- Is the Speaker of the Parliament. He can second a bill for vote. He as the power calls a meeting of the parliament anytime. Praetor is election by the people of the Ottoman Empire. The term of the Praetor is for four years.

“Also we have half of the seats in the House of Viziers, that are Reformist or Unionist.” Said Minster Aamira Al Bashir

“This is make life harder for us, because we lost control of the Parliament.” said Vizier.Yazid III Bin Umayyad

Today is momentous days for the Parliament the Union and Reformist parties have lost compete of the Parliament for the first time in 60 years, the major winners of the election are the Al Muslimeen Party, Hawk Party and the Hezbollah Party. Also the Socialist Progressive Party as gain more seats in the Parliament, they more of a voice in the affairs of the Ottoman Empire. The Big upsets of the day are the massive defeat for the Reformist party (Sultan, Grand Viziers and the PM party) and Unionist party. This maybe a sign of the ever-changing face of the Ottoman Empire. Most of us will like to hope this is the for the good of the people.

Soon we meet the new ministers of the Ottoman Empire.
