Today is a grand day for PIcaRDMPCia's space program as they unveiled the new Daudalus-class space exploration vehicle, popularly known as a starship. The first Daudalus-class, which has been christianed Luna is reportedly able to travel from Earth to Pluto in a matter of days, making exploration of the solar system extremely easy for the first time in PIcaRDMPCia's history. President Matt Carpenter was present at the unveiling at Cape Hope in the Jookulalean Province, and has this to say:
"It's truly remarkable; ever since our economy has been recovering under my leadership we've managed great strides in science, technology, and exploration. I'm hoping that even I'll be able to travel to our Space Station Aurora now."

In related news, President Carpenter and his wife Alyssa celebrated their twentieth anniversary earlier today; the couple were reportedly very proud.

OOC: *bump* Please people, I'd like comments; this is the first time I've written a peice of news for my nation.

That was good, a little more detail would've been better but overall is was good.

Emperor Shadaum sipped his morning tea as he read the paper. He took note of a new country make its first major voyage.

"Not bad," he said to himself, and then continued onto the sports section.


OOC: Like he said, add a little detail into it. Spice it up so its tangy. Other than that, very good. I would also suggest making a little stat part for the ship like, weapons, speed capabilities, armour, gizmos. The works.
