ooc: Sorry if any of you got the notice for this twice, had some trouble with the anti spam thingy, so I'm not sure who got it and who didn't.

IC:
*Frederian IV starts to set up the diplomatic quarters for the massive conference. It should start in any moment, he sent out the reminders, he has the housing ready, clean, and food in its proper place. He had the rough drafts of many different documents, foreign or ones he himself wrote up strewn about the tallest seat which he had reserved for himself as sort of the chairman of the whole thing. After all he set it up, he might as well regulate it. Now all he had to wait for was for them to arrive.

He turns to a few of his royal guard members, ready with their g36k's to take out any possible threat, which isn't much saying Frederian views himself as a populist monarch. After all, he inserted the constitution into this country, why shouldn't he be loved.*

Frederian IV: Guards!
Guards: yes your majesty?
Frederian: I want you to stand watch at the helipad, wait for any delegates to come, and point them in my direction. I don't want them accidently getting lost in the downtrodden districts of Turkimen, understood?
Guards: Yes your majesty, at once.

*Well, now all there was to do... was wait.*

The VH-60 Blackhawk carrying the king flew into the city, and headed toward the building where the conference was to be held. As the chopper landed, Dayan hopped out, and walked up to the man he figured to be in charge.

"Hello. I am Dayan, king of Malkyer. I'm here for the WMD Conference."

OOC: sorry for the lame post but I've got to go to a Christmas Eve church service; don't have much time. I'll post something better later.

Frederian IV: Dayan, Dayan, Dayan... ah! yes, you and your country are here on the list. Welcome to the WMD conference. oddly enough your the first to have arrived, so you might as well make yourself feel at home in one our suites. There just that way, you can unload your things there, I'm sure this will last more then a few days. Come, come don't be shy. Guards, lead this man to one of our suites, I'll stay here and watch for any other delegates.

"Thank you. I take it I will be informed when the other delegates arrive?"

*Frederian nods slowly* indeed you will. Lets just hope that it is more then three people. I am surely expecting At least the queen of Ivalion to show, because she lives no more then a few miles away from this very spot *grins* I'm sure that some of them are just asleep. who knows with all the different time zones and the like. you my be staying overnight before more people come.

"Ah, it is nothing. So long as my Cabinet is able to reach me in an emergency, I will be glad of the break," Dayan said with a grin.

*after waiting nearly a week, Frederian is becoming a tad bit impatient for the other advisors*

Frederian: where in blazes can they all be... eh, no matter, if this all fails it isn't big. I'm not even sure why I started this to begin with. but its the principle of the matter that bothers me so... hmmph....

*frederian goes back to waiting...*

*Some Time After...*

A heavily guarded transport chopper arrives at the helipad. As it touches down, the doors open and Queen Ressedi of Ivalion emerges, looking rather haggard, and quite distraught. The guards salute and escort her to Frederian, as she wordlessly follows.

Upon reaching His Majesty, Ressedi gives a curt bow, and speaks breathlessly, "A thousand apologies for my tardiness, Frederian... ...our armed forces threatened to disband completely if I did not address their concerns... it lasted nearly three weeks."

*Frederian IV seems not to mind at all, in fact he's rather pleased that he has another person attending at all*

Frederian IV: No apology accepted Ressedi, we haven't much success at getting anyone here, let alone doing anything. I'm glad you've had time to arrive at the very least, I'll have my secretaries alert the Malkyer delegate immediately, and I've sent reminders out to the other countries who have yet to attend. Come, at least go to your rooms while you wait, and observe the hospitality of Turkimen.
