(OOC: sorry if this is bad, it said i wasnt logged in on the first one and i had to start over)
Manama, Bahrain
Public Internation Statement
My fellow leaders,
I would like to begin by wishing those leaders celebrating holidays this season to have a happy holiday.
I have issued this statement to ask for friendship with other countries. We have not done so earlier, as our military had not taken shape, but now, with a fully functioning Navy, and our first two Army divisions, we are ready to enter the international community.
We ask leaders to enter into an alliance for a set of time, agreed upon by Elephantum and the other country, encompassing the following:
a)breaking of this alliance, before the end set by the leaders, shall be considered an act of war, except in the death or other removal of one of the leaders that signed the pact
b) Communist regimes are not recognised under this pact, although you may deal with them, and all regimes will be investigated before the pact is signed
c) Military, economic, and emergency aid will be provided by either country to the other
d) Both countries have the right to establish embassies in each others capitals, as well as consulates in other cities
e) Trade, economic advancement, and scientific progress will be spread
f) neither country shall enact legislation damaging the government, populace, or economy of the other country
(OOC: i am willing to make changes and updates to this)
Please inform me if you are intersted

Cotland is willing to enter in an alliance with Elephantum. We do not wish the child you offer, but instead we wish to establish a small military base in your country. We look forward to a positive response.

for the base, that depends on where,
In Nebraska Territory, as long as it is 25 miles from Omaha, it is fine
In Gambia territory, the same stands for Banjul
in Bahrain Province, we would prefer not to have you there, but if you must
also, no nuclear, chemical, or biological weapons may be stored in Elephanti lands, as we would prefer to have no liability for your actions.
An embassy in Manama will be permitted, as well as consulates in Omaha and Banjul, assuming we have the right to the same in yours

The High Sultan thanks you

Note-to all foreign leaders, the above deal is still available, and most of the above will apply to other applicants

Naturally you will have the same rights. We wish to utilize the old Cottish naval base situated at the river Gambia 10 miles outside the city of Brikama. As you probably know, Gambia was formerly a part of Cotland, and Cottish industries have deep roots in Gambia. The 395th FIS wing, 28th Transport wing and the 2nd Fleet will be situated in Foxtrot Naval Air Station, as the base is named.

The ambassador to Manana will be Mr William Grovesdale (age 35). He will be accompanied by his teenage son George (age 17) and the rest of the standard embassy staff (3 secretaries, 20 aides and other workers, 10 soldiers for security [think marines at RL US embassies]).
The consule to Omaha will be Mrs Sarah Bentley (age 39), accompanied by her husband Joshua (age 41) and a standard consulate staff (1 secretary, 6 aides and other workers, 4 soldiers).
The consule to Banjul will be Mr Peter Olsworth (age 58), accompanied by his wife Rita (age 54) and a standard embassy staff.

An embassy in Cotlandstad and consulates in Sicily, San Marino and Cairo will be permitted to you. Please tell us who you are sending, so that we can arrange for housing fitting for them (if you have a 60 year old diplomat, you don't want him living in a night-club area, do you?).

The base is fine, and for an ambassador to your capital we would like to propose Mamoud Hunnan, age 72, a personal advisor to the High Sultan for his entire reign. We will send a staff of 5 secrataries, 15 other staff, 10 guards, and if possible, his elephant Sidayh. She is the closest thing he has to family, as his wife died, and also his favorite mode of transportation. We would like to delay the establishment of consulates, as we are renovating our military structure, and are quite busy in the government offices.

We will make the neccisary arrangements. Is the elephant an african or an indian elephant? It will be vital information in the construction of the elephant garden.

it is a small African elephant, for an elephant of course, fully grown

Very well. The enclosure have been constructed according to specifications, Cottish anti-animalcruelty laws, Cottish building laws and all the other red tape. The enclosure for Sidayh will be 50 meters x 30 meters large, with lumber, hay, pool and a 15 x 15 meter heat tent (for use during the winter). A detail of convicts charged with not-so-serious crimes have been assigned to clean up after the elephant.

The enclosure, as well as the rest of the accomondations for Mr Hunnan, are located in Klarseth, 2 miles outside downtown Cotlandstad where many of the politicians and diplomats working in Cotlandstad lives. The rest of the delegation will have to arrange homes themselves, but we will assist them, should they need help.

The embassy has been finished, and await your delegation.

You don't plan to pack the elephant into a suitcase, do you? If so, you will be violating Cottish law...

We can provide you with a C-5B Galaxy transport and a heavy sedative for transport of the elephant if you wish. The plane can also transport the diplomat and his entourage and their baggage.

the elephant will not be packed, merely clothing and such, and we have elephant transports in our Commerce department to take care of that

Very well. Just remember to tell the aide that recieve you at the airport about the elephant, and s/he'll deal with customs.

Due to our proximity and communal vunerability (I am based in Qatar)
a Middle-East alliance between The Poor Fellow Soldiers of Jesus Christ and the Temple of Solomon and Elephantum would be, as I see it , a worthy endeavor. The Knights Templars look forward to fruitful discussions.

despite the general ack of Christians in our country, we will endavor to form an allaince. You can build an embassy in Manama, and consulates in Banjul, Gambia, and Mahe and Madras, India, assuming that we can in your capital and other provinces, states, etc.

Also, would you be interested in something similar to the King Fahd causeway connecting our two countries if we can get trade agreements to work?
