The Burnsian Desert

"Don't worry honey, it will only be for a second, it's like getting a shot..."
...steam whistled around the small building, coming from manholes. The normally bustling inner city of Highfather was quiet and orderly. The soldiers made sure of it. In the building, there came cries, screams of small children as the needles penetrated their hands. Government artists, wearing orange fatigues, inserted isotope-loaded ink into the tattoo pens. The final product of all the masterpieces was a black tattoo, a barcode, each one unique.
The isotopes in the ink, kept under lock and key by the Burnsian government, were stored deep underground in the Burnsian Internal Affairs bunker. The isotope could be tracked by relaying its specific chemical property through a special lens on a sattelite. Every single shipment was guarded by four tanks and two IFV's. Nothing was recorded missing.
In two days, every single person in The Burnsian Desert would be reduced to a number.
OOC: Sorry for the lackluster post, but I really don't have time today :).
