With the destruction of the Stock Market, everything had dropped. The Dollar had skyrocketed against the formerly dominant pound, all foreign investors had sold their stock in Hogsweatian business, and the State Owned Commissions lost money at an alarming rate at an alarming amount. Immediately taking advantage, the Finance Ministry began selling of -all- shares for dirt cheap, hoping to gain some quick money with which to boost the economy.

In Menelmacar the catastrophe in Hogsweat was all over the financial news... everywhere, even. Anáriel nos Eärendil, already laughing over her pending Santa Barbaran acquisitions, was always ready to seize an opportunity. And this was an opportunity... guaranteed income for several years - even if the businesses all tanked thereafter, FHG could write off the investment and pull out with huge profits. There was also the chance to bring FHG in particular and Menelmacari capitalism in general to a formerly socialist state. Few days brought better news, actually. The FPCB is proposing a joint project within both Brazil and Hogsweat. Major industries in Hogsweat are being destroyed by foreign investors, this must be stopped now. The Hogsweatian 'companies' must be nationalized and set up as worker controlled, we must eliminate the use of stock, as this is the root cause of the problem.

Many people misinterpret what Socialism is, and as the FPCB has admitted, we are not truly socialist, we are a social democracy. However, when in the course of these events, until globalization and internationalist movements have been unified, socialism will be hard to maintain.

However, the need is now for Hogsweat to adopt to socialist policy of the elimination of corporations. We need a true control not of the government, but of the worker, by establishing worker committees, a project we will work on in both Brazil and Hogsweat.

We see the same problem within our own nation, now it is time to eliminate the corporation. By keeping corporations alive, we are only furthering the capitalist's rule. Hogsweat must realize this now, and immediately nationalize its companies to eliminate the selling of stock. ALready, nations have bought this stock, this must be bought back.

The FPCB will help alleviate the economic problems in Hogsweat, and we ask the nations that have bought stock to sell it back through the FPCB. We will use our own funds to save Hogsweat, in hope of a better, socialist future may come of it.

The FPCB will not onmly pay back for the stocks that were sold, but we will also pay for the deficits within the state department. This debt will have no need for repayment, as this is out of necessity. We must show the world the truth actions and powers of socialism.

We are pleading with Hogsweat to join us in this endeavor. If you do not, you may have the temporary economic benfit, but you will loose the vision of socialism. Then you will no better than the revisionists, or even the imperialists.

In a highly unusual move the massive Crookfur Arms organisation (part government part coperation, its complicated) has put forward an aparrently highly generous offer for holdings in Westenov Arms, Electronics
comidities and the minning commission.

Crookfur Arms is willing to offer 150% of the asking price per share for the following stakes in each sector:

Westenov Arms Production: 55%
State Commodity Production: Electronics: 30%
State Mining Commission: 55%

it is estiamted that the deal woudl involve a figure in the region of $18billion

Crookfur Arms has promised that as with all thier holdings aproximatly 70% of all incoem would be directly reinvested into R&D programs and further 10-15% into other business areas. It was also proposed that Hogsweat based business woudl also be inline for work share and subcontracting work from some of CFA's major projects.

All of the remaining stock (30%) of the State Commodities Production Corporation, Electronics Bureau, for USD$300,000,000. A big deal for NEC, especially since the Zhang-Sakura monolith and the Voroshilov Company were outperforming them in the market.....
