"On the evening of december 23rd, President Ivan Mishin was going to a defense ministry meeting. He got out of the front doors of Kremlin, he was wearing a black coat. Two security guards follow him, he got into the car (limousine) and his drivier pushed the pedal. They were slowly driving eastward. Once they got of the main street and onto on of the smaller road a crowed of young people, their heads completely shaved, they were armed with knives, broken bottles, some had pistols.

They started rocking the car. One of the Neo-Nazis got out a pistol and fired inside the limo. The bullet did not penetrate the armor of the car. Security guards took out their pistols and jumped out of the car through the hole in the roof. They immideately shot those Nazis that had pistols and started fighting the rest of them hand to hand. One of the body guards fell on the snow with a knife sticking out of his chests. His comrade seeing that got out his pistol and started shooting at the assasins. After about six of them went down, Neo-Nazis ran away. Bodyguard got his partners body into limo and the driver continued driving eastward. A total of 12 bodies were left on the ground."

Turetelian Head of Forces Jackson McAbb," My god, those Nazi's don't get it. Put all the Marines and Infantry on stand-by. Clovian General Marstel Champlain, we are sending in the 74th Infantry, but this time, we won't leave any opponents that resist a fair government alive."

"Alright sir, the 74th is always ready as you know, but I propose sending in our newly added 9th Marine Brigade, they are only 3,200 men, more like Special Forces though. You probably remember in your first term nearly 40 years ago, when you ordered that a Brigade of the best damn men are created and you didn't care how, well here we are in your last term and they are done."

"What do you mean, you talk as them as if they are like machine."

"They are like that sir, they have no feelings that aren't suppressed, these men could kill a kitten and not have a bit of remorse, not until we turn them around, one hour would be all it takes."

"Deploy them, tell me, does anyone of them have the name Markle Frail?"

"Yes, that is the Brigade Leader."

"That was my son..."

OOC: Pushka, as good allies, I find it that I help you with some of the best people available, the 9th MB and the 74th Infantry.

"Next day Ivan Mishin speaks at the press conference concerning the assasination attempt"

Our enemy is like cancer, they want their hate to spread across this nation like plague. We must strike them down! Our ally Turetel is helping us. According to the reports from Pushkan secret service our enemy is separated in 3 large groups, their names are: Pushkan national socialist armed group, they are in the eastern part of the country, Radical Racist armed movement, they are in the west of the country, Neo-Nazi armed movement, this ones are in the heart of the country, some are right here in the capitol, we shall destroy them. Their numbers are estimated to about a hundred thousand, weapons AK-47s, police and military are authorazied to take any action needed to put them in prison

The 9th Marine Brigade was moving at a desriable pace, until something rocked their position. The commander was not soul-less, none of them were, they reversed it themselves, and now they were mad at their government. They saw the Nazi's and smiled, they knew how they would get back. They halted the fireing with a Turetelian Truce, then from a distance the 74th Infantry Rebel Buster Team looked from a distanced as they shook hands and walked their seperate ways, the Nazi with a radio now.

"Pushkan 2nd army special ops division (10000) was given a mission of destroying the Nazis hiding in the western forests of Pushka. Near one of those forests stood a man covered in a grey, soviet styled military uniform. He had a thick mustage, a round face, red hair. He was looking into the forest, behind him was a camp of 9th batalion of 2nd Pushkan army special ops division. His men wore camuflage winter clothing, and carried AEK-971 assault rifles as well as over equipment. They were preparing to furfill their duty. Most of them were getting drunk in the white colored tents which blended in with the snow lying everythere. It was going to be an easy mission, there was no point in worrying. A man in the grey coat was the commander of that batalion Nikita Markov. Another man in a grey coat came up to him."

???: Nikita starie drug, nu shto, dumaesh tebeia posle etogo zadania medali naveshaiut da v shtab oprediliat?

???: Nikita old freind, what do you think, after this mission they gonna give you a bunch of medals and put you in the HQ's?

Nikita: Hopefully, because since war with Crimsdale nobody gave me any medals, they probably forgot about them, fuck their mothers..... what about you Sasha?

Sasha: I am good, not complaining. I think after this they gonna give me a medal too. Eh ma, you don't look like yourself, why are you so grim, people are drinking vodka, having fun, and you are just standing here. What can those Nazis do to us? They don't have a lot of pistols and those they have wouldn't penetrate our body armor from first hit. Eh if not for those damn environmentalists we would be sitting on the base right now. And this forest would burn. One time hit it with napalm and you don't have any more nazis. Am i right?

Nikita: Thats the thing, you're not right, we gonna kill our own people, they are ours and not someone elses. And young to add to all of this. But okay, either chest in crosses (medals) or head in the bushes. Lets go prepare, soon we will attack.

Colonel Karantov, commanding officer of the 34th Russian Infantry, was apprehensive about his coming deployment to Pushka. Along with the rest of the 15th Infantry Brigade, the 56th Infantry Brigade, and the 23rd Armored Brigade, his regiment would be sent to Pushka to help quell rebellions by various Neo-Nazis. Like most Russians, Karantov hated Nazis. Bastard fascisti, he thought. He was glad of the chance to kill them. He was nervous, though, because as a Russian he'd probably be expected to play diplomat in Pushka. He was not a very diplomatic person. He hoped he wouldn't offend them. Malkyer and Pushka had an odd relationship. Malkyer had invaded Pushka, then switched sides, creating a mortal enemy out of Crimsdale, whom Karantov himself had just finished fighting in the brief and bloody New Crusade. Reports said the fighting was not completely done there either. Ah, I wander in my mind. These Pushkans will just have to accept us. The Infantry would be transported by air, and would reach Pushka by tomorrow. The armor would be coming in by ship and arrive within the week. I wonder if I will have a chance to see an Orthodox Christmas service, he wondered. Vasili Karantov was a member of the Orthodox Church of Malkyer, but he rarely attended, and he doubted those services would be at all similar to the real thing. Maybe there would be good in this redeployment.

OOC: nope. 58% of my populaton is English-American. The largest minority groups are Irish (14%), Russian (10%) and German (8%). Each of those groups has units in the Army. They are one Irish infantry brigade (67th Ulster), one Russian infantry regiments (34th Russians), one Russian armored cavalry regiment (22nd Cossacks), one German armored regiment (14th Prussians), and one German armored regiment (29th Bavarians). It's sort of like the British Army in the nineteenth/early twentieh century; units made up of different ethnic groups within the country. I thought sending a Russian regiment would be interesting, as you're Russian and all.

OOC: Yeah it is interesting. Exept one thing Russian Orthodox Christmas is January 6th (Russian Orthodox churches never switched to the modern calendar) plus its not really celebrated, over here we don't celebrate christmas at all, we celebrate new year in the same way you celebrate christmas, presents, christmas tree we even got our own version of Santa Claunse exept we go tfew other traditions like nardnie guliania. Freinds get together get drunk and go roaming the streets singing russian drunk songs, and we have president make a speach after Kurants (big clock on one of the towers of Kremlin) hit 12 times and new year begins, after that goes the national anthem, then the speach. Just a little insight into the russian culture.

"Combat (Position of a commander of the battalion in the Russian (Pushkan in this case) army) Nikita Markov was now standing in the same camuflage winter Pushkan special ops uniform as everybody else, there was nothing to show that he was of a superior rank. He had a 1000 men of his batalion lined up in two lines, one behind the other. He was walking past them, it seemed as he was just walking, but in reality he made sure that everybodies uniform was fitting according to the manual. He stopped near one of the soldiers and without looking at him said"

"Soldat leaned and looked on his belt buckle, it was clean and shining"

Vladimir: Belt buckle is fine comrade Combat. Fits well, cleaned according to the army regulations!

Nikita: According to regulations?! I can see you have dogshit instead of brains in you head. For a sniper there is no better aim then a shining belt buckle. Make dirty, right now!

Vladimir: Yes to make the belt buckle dirty, comrade Combat!

"Soldier bend down, got some soil from under the snow and put it on his belt buckle"

Vladimir: Mission complete comrade Combat!

Nikita: Alright, then in battle, keep close to your squad leader, he will keep your head on your shoulders.

"Nikita finished looking at the troops and went into his tent, Shasha joined him"

Nikita: How are your eagles (men)?

Sasha: All good, its not that bad being a squad leader, not as many people to command, and if they die, not a lot will be asked of me.

Nakita: I agree.

Sasha: Why were you so harsh to one of mine (Vladimir)? What snipers are you talking about? Did you not listen to the surveilance reports? Most of them don't even have pistols.

Nakita: I can feel it with my heart that this is not as simple as it seems.

Sasha: Alright, then do we move out?

Nikita: With the dawn.

The small remnant of the Turetelian 9th Marine Detachment (no longer a Brigade since thier is only 200 of them). Was now direly running from a deadly foe, one that was not reasonable and would probably bomb the hell out of the cities with their terrorist techniques. The only sign of hope was a quick message from a brief single, that the 74th Infantry had a new Commander, Jackson McAbb...

The new Neo-Nazis say a family of Pushkan's walking through the street, grabbed the child and shot it dead, then the mom and dad, and shot the kid twice in the chest leaving him to die slowly. A Pushkan Police Official ran up to the scene only to get a FRAG right in the side, killing him as well. They were wreaking havoc, and the problem was, no-one could get close to them. By Mid-Morning it had turned the small city into a training center, 1 Regiment of 10,000 Nazis armed with AKM's and some with knifes were ready to strike at the Pushkan Gov. Only thing stopping them was 200 Marines that had no supplies, and only 20 Rounds a Piece, if they could hold the line for 15 hours, the Turetelian 74th Infantry would come, engage, and destroy the opponents, but could they hold on that long?...

In the first 3 hours of combat nearly 33% of the men perished, by the end of 10 hours only 15 men stood left, and by the 15th hour only Frank McAbb, Clovis Champ, and Elie Recl stood left, a final charge was mounted and they prepared for hell...

The Turetelian SOT Commander took the 128 Barrell Machine Gun and literally decimated the crowd of Nazis below, unaware though he was to the fact that he was about to crash into the training camp, which flew a dark Turetelian Rebel flag.

The 74th Infantry engaged the already weaken oppenent of Nazis and won with only 3 loses, the remained of the 9th Marines were incorporated into the 74th Infantry. The only thing left to do was to lay siege to the 3,000 Marines and 11,000 Nazis in this errie stronghold.

OOC: Wait, wait, wait. Most of the Nazis are hiding in forests. In Moscovi (capitol) there are only few thousand. In the forests near Moscovi there are few thousand more. They are spread for now. I want this to last a little longer then one day.

IC: Combat Nikita Markov was going through the western most forest of Pushka. Leading his 7th Pushkan special ops batalion. Total of 1000 men. Batalion contained 10 rotas (squads) a hundred men each. They were moving through the forests slowly. Making sure to make no noise. Finally a first shot went off. It came from behind one of the trees. The bullet hit the body vest on one of the Pushkan soldiers, the titanium slowed it down but the bullet was fired from a sniper rifle and from a close range such as this it penetrated even titanium. The soldiers fell dead with a bullet hole in his chest. His comrades all fell on the ground, ready for another attack. But they didn't spot the shooter. Everyone understood that their freind was shot by a sniper rifle, and according to reports Neo-Nazis were only supposed to have pistols, in limited number. Something must have went wrong. Numerous over shots started clapping all over the forest. Screams of pain followed shortly after.

Everyone understood that their freind was shot by a sniper rifle, and according to reports Neo-Nazis were only supposed to have pistols, in limited number. Something must have went wrong. Numerous other shots started clapping all over the forest. Suddenly explosions followed. Rotni (squad leader) Sasha Petrov contacted Combat Markov on the radio.

Sasha: What is happening? Whose artilley is that?

Nikita: Its not ours, i just contacted HQs. Nazis were supplied by someone, they were hiding weapons in the forest. We have about 12000 fully armed rebels over here, agaisnt our thousand men.

Sasha: We are dying over here! They are ambushing us. We could as well be running with a pitch fork on an open field against a man with a sniper rifle. What do we do?

Nikita: Try to dig in, make defenses. I am having 4th and 5th rotas get machine guns, once they get back we will mount them and try to put up a good fight until the air force gets here. They decided to use napalm.

Sasha: Okay thats great, i have about 7 men wounded and 5 men dead. What do i do with them?

Nikita: Make sure your medics are doing their job, and wait, help will soon come. Hold as long as you can!

Sasha turned off the radio and started firing. He saw a figure emerge in the shadows of the trees. He shot at it, it fell down. He could see a young man no more then 19, with shaved head and an AK-47 in his cold hands.

Sasha looked around, more and more of his men were getting killed and wounded. Finally artillery fire got concetrated on his rota. Digging in was not an option. His men were trying to get as close to the ground as possible, but that didn't save them from bullets and artillery shells which seemed to come out of nothere. Sasha knew that half of his rota will be left dead here if he doesn't do something. So he got up.

Sasha: Get up comrades! Kill the Nazi scum! ZA RODINU! (FOR MOTHERLAND!)

His men got up and with screams: URA! ZA RODINU! URA!

Charged into the forest, spreying bullets like rain drops. Sasha was running along side them, at this point rank didn't matter, rodina mattered, survival mattered. And he fell down. Sasha was shot. He killed about 3 snipers who emerged as the troops were running. The fourth one killed him. Sasha was running ahead of everyone. A sniper was wearing a winter military camuflage uniform and was lying on the ground. Sasha was about 2 meters away from him then he pulled the trigger. Sasha fell with a bullet in his liver. A soldier running after Sasha fired 3 shots into the sniper, killing him. He leaned over Sasha.

Soldier: Medic! Medic over here! Rotni (squad leader) needs a medic!

soldier looked into Sasha's eyes. They were starring into the sky as if into nothingness. That man was already dead. Before taking his last breath Sasha spoke as speaking to someone in the sky.

Sasha: Proshai Natasha, ia lublu tebia (Goodbye Natasha (his wife) i love you)

he stopped breathing, his eyes slowly closed. Meanwhile other batalions were doing the same thing as Sasha's, charging at the enemy. Snipers were only good then they were not seen. They didn't proove much of resistance to the men who were charging at them. Finally snipers just ended. Few were captured. Information received from them was vital. Most rebel troops were deeper in the forest, they jsut set up an avangard of about 400 snipers to meet the federal troops. Finally the artillery has ceased, they ran out of shells and Pushkan troops had time to count the bodies. 127 dead, 30 wounded. The air strike was called off by the higher command, the loses were evaluated as acceptable. A total of 358 rebels was killed, the rest taken alive only to be thrown into interregation camps. Few survivors shot themselves instead of surrendering. Pushkan troops cleansed about half of forest's area and dug in. Machine guns came, defenses were build. Supplies were administered by air. 3rd battery of 2S1 mobile artillery unit (50 artillery pieces) was pulled in as support to the Pushkan forces already dug in. Also parts of 3rd, regulard Pushkan army were moved as support. About 7000 men. Total ground troops were 7843 men were facing a force of almost 14000 fully armed rebels. A mystery of who supplied them still remained a mystery. All teh rest of the Puskan military (About 2 million combat troops and 1 million of army servicemen and women in maintenance and staff positions (cooking, medics..etc) was concentrated on keeping Pushkan cities, rebel free. Building were being blown up everythere now. But Pushkan army tactics prooved to be affective in taking out many sections of Nazi movement. The war was going to be a long one. And the snow fell lightly on the graves of dead soldiers.
