General Damian stared into the darkness. His men stood and waited orders. Smoke shot from their mouths as they breathed. Fog seemed to engulf them and damian was for once in his life frightened.
Two weeks prior.
Damian stood and his back kricked from his all nighter in the office. He yawened and then walked to his kitchen.
" honey can you get me a towel." his wife spoke as steam rose from under the door. Damian opened the door and handed her a towel. "I have to go to a meeting this afternoon i will be back though." He closed the door and walked out the house before should could get out and reply.
Damian and Emporer gori spoke. " we must make notice to this threat!"
Damian spoke with a flat tone "i relize this and i have moved my army into position. "YES but War may not be the answer" Gori Began to yell. "I will speak to this Soldata Romana. and this meeting will be continued."
Damian picked up the phone and wrote his fax.
THE NOTE READ
To the leader of Soldata Romana i have been told you have been planning an attack on our nation. If so we will not tollerate such an act. If we are able to work this out with out war good. If you wish to go to war, So BE IT.

Emperor Bursceloni sat in his office, reading the fax on his desk from a more "primitive" nation called "Hellgan". His aide, noted his facial expression change from a confused to an angry look as he read all these false allegations, and threats toward Soldata Romana.

"Truly he cannot be serious,sir." Bursceloni's aide,Vincenzo Neri, commented, since he had read the fax upon delivering it from the communications wing of Burcseloni's palace.
"Indeed he is. He is openly making false accusations and threatening our nation. This is also threatening Constantinople and the Italian Empire. I must bring this up in the senate. Vincenzo, bring the car around, and contact my pilot, we must head for the senate at once to bring this to their attention. As well, tell General Ciampi that he is authorized to bring the Army up on full alert, and manning the great wall, in the direction of where this nation is most likely to attack us from.

With this, the grand Army of Soldata Romana, its army of 3,000,000 armed loyal conscripts, prepared a defense, and went on full alert.

The Great Wall is very comparable to the Sea Wall on D-Day. The barren landscape around the area lets observation posts see for at least 10 miles out. if a attack was to be approaching, from any area around the country, there would be enough time to move the army to that position.

Before you open your mouth don sat right next to me as i wrote it and i didnt have to send any men into your region i have a double agent watching your every move. And by the way you acted at the meeting i belive my alligations were right. there was no threat but a mear request, for you to show hellgan that you were not prepairing for war. "dimitry, call imperial italy, and nueve italia, ask them if they are still in on our treaty." Dimitry replied "what about the others."

" Deploy the troops." i will contact the leader of soldata romana and try to talk this out if not. send in our forces.

Urza Ender Thrawn: What does Hellgan believe he's doing? He claims that Soldata Romana has provoked him, yet there is no evidence whatsoever of any provocation by Soldata Romana. He tried to involve our nation on his side, yet he has nothing to influence us.

Grand General Belgarion, Head of Imperial Galactica's massive armies, leans forward in his chair and speaks: He might be intending to draw our nation into a conflict we cannot win. But, by current intelligence analyses, all the various armies, even allied together, have no hope of defeating Imperial Galactica. Our economic and industrial bases are simply too powerful. *Leans backwards and temples his fingers.* Either Hellgan has some sort of all-encompassing plan that we know nothing about, or that ruler is truly an idiot.

Master Strategist Zhuge Liang, clad in his white robes as usual, speaks quietly, and the table quiets to listen to him. The Master Strategist's voice portrays one who is both used to command and open-minded.

Zhuge Liang: Hellgan has no choice. He seems to have no other choice. He wishes a war for expansion, with Soldata Romana as his only viable target. He must pull Imperial Galactica in to give himself the much-needed victory. He can only hope that we indeed choose to side with him. We must analyze the various possibilities. Hellgan would indeed be a ripe target for our nation, with his misleading information.

Supreme Admiral Bastila Hattori , leader of Imperial Galactica's navy, stands abruptly from her chair and slams her fist upon the table.

Bastila Hattori: My vote goes for conquering Hellgan! The foreign world must be sent the message that Imperial Galactica CANNOT be misled with no consequences! I call for an immediate assignment of all troops stationed near Hellgan to full battle alert, Code Phoenix Red-Dash-Five! We have ourselves an opportunity to show the world the power of our armed forces and we MUST NOT YIELD! Let us stand strong together and defeat this so-called 'sovereign' nation!

Urza Ender Thrawn interrupts her quickly, standing as well.

Urza Ender Thrawn: Bastila, you know as well as we all do that we cannot act hastily. We must await and watch how the situation develops. Meeting adjourned.

The staff officers all stand and filter out of the room slowly. Urza Ender Thrawn sighs, then stands and looks out the window.

Urza Ender Thrawn: Yes...we must wait and see...

President Bursceloni and his cabinet sat in the dim-lit meeting room, 3 floors underneath his Ministry of Defense building. He sat at end of the long table, reading off a telegram that was recieved by a large nation out of the "10,000" islands region, to his staff, seeing what they thought of this.

General Ciampi: This, other region that has come in to support the madman Damian Hellgan, must really have been fooled by him, into what he was aiding him for. Though, we should keep our stance at defensive, as to not draw him into the conflict. We are still a small military and lack the ability to fight both of them off, even with our wall.

Bursceloni: Thank you general, your advice is very wise, and we shall stick to your idea. Ive spoken to our leader over on the mainland of the Italian Empire, he says that this Hellgan character would be a fool to invade. When I make my next visit to the Senate, I will ask for money, to field a larger army to defend our beloved nation with. We've also found a mole in our beloved region of Constantinople, that Foxhound Crew. He and his followers have been taken care of and will never be back. We must tighten our security systems now. Order the national guard force, to holdsecurity checks at every entrance into our nation and cities.


Once the meeting concluded, Silvio Bursceloni went to the communications wing of the Ministry of Defense, and sent the Damian Hellgan madman a message.

"Mr Hellgan,
Your "double agent" has been caught, and removed from Constantinople. Sending nations to spy on us is considered a threat of war on your part, and now will only disintegate any chance of us going back to peaceful times. I never wanted this to happen, nor did I ever threaten your nation or your mediocre region. It is clear that when you sent this agent in, and he was to try and get me to invade you, was you trying to find a reason that you could invade my nation with.

And CHris the fox hound crew is me just in another nation. I joined the italian empire hopeing to grow. When i herd you wished to attack i asked you if you wanted to and you siad no. so i backed off for a bit until i got word again that you were preparing to attack. And how the hell do you all get i want war. if you read the post. IT says nothing about the need for war. I mearly confronted Soldata romana and asked him if he was preparing an attack. And let me ask you all a question if someone gave you word that another nation was preparing an attack. You wouldnt say athing to them.? If you all want war so be it. I pesonaly have no reson to go to war but i will not stand by and let another nation attack me. All i did was try to talk this out peacefully . Apa take it any way you want.

My my my what a tangled web we weave. Dave i never told you apa was going to attack you. you told me. and you learned it from chris. I have recently heard that you dave were using your other nation the fox hound crew to manipulate apa in to going to war with the rest of us. Is this true ? Dictator Tarr was just finishing his double shot Latte when one of his intelligence agents came in:

"It appears that the rulers of Hellgan and Solda Romana are at each others throats! Hellgan is accusing Solda Romana of threatening them, and vice versa. If I am not mistaken, Dictator Tarr, you said you would join Hellgan if he needed help, am I right?"

Dictator Tarr looked into his empty mug and thought... "Helping out Hellgan would only get us mixed into things... But so would helping Soldata Romana. But of course, as far as I can tell, Soldata Romana hasn't done anything to provoke war. Except calling Demian Hellgan a fool." He walked over to his phone and called up his brother, who was in charge of his military.

"General Nauxen on the line"

"Brother, I need you to tell our whole country something. Can you get the recorder ready?"

"Let it be known everywhere. We are to stay neutral. We will not aid either side in any way shape or form untill I say to. These are treacherous times. Any man cought provoking either side, will result in the penalty of death." He hung up the phone.

Due to recent events Utopria and Garbage Men will no longer be staying with The Fox Hole. Recent information has forced both nations to leave and join Soldata Romana. Dave i can no longer allow you to be my leader. It is not because i am afraid of fighting, but it is a matter of trust. I mean i even heard that you were caught for godmodding from the administrator. Frankly i trust apa more than you now. I have just received information that Chris was under your orders to try and get apa to attack us. I trusted you Dave. You almost got me to attack apa for no good reason. Apa never wanted to attack you me, Don or anybody else in The Fox Hole to begin with. When this is done i hope we can still be allies Dave. Master Strategist Zhuge Liang: The nation of Hellgan has remained fairly quiet as of thus far, as has Soldata. Various other nations have declared their intents toward the Hellgan-Soldata conflict, most declaring neutrality-

Supreme Admiral Bastila Hattori interrupts quickly: It doesn't matter. Those nations are inconsequential. Their militaries are much too tiny to even consider a defense against Imperial Galactica's might, much less an attack. All these nations' so-called 'militaries' allied TOGETHER could not hope to best a single naval fleet of ours!

Grand General Belgarion: I must agree with my navy compatriot Bastila. One single army or task force could easily take any of these nations. *laughs heartily* It's not even a contest! One of our armies is bigger than most of these nations' entire populace! *roars with laughter*

*A sibilant voice emerges from the shadows of the room. The speaker, a man known only as Phoenix Grey, heads Imperial Galactica's shadowy Department of Politburo and Information.*

Phoenix Grey: Do not forgot the obvious. My men can in position within a few days. Kill the head of an animal, and the body soon follows. These insignificant nations have highly penetrable security.

Master Strategist Zhuge Liang: We cannot fault them, can we? Their economies are nowhere near the massive behemoth that Imperial Galactica's has become. Simply put, they cannot afford it.

Executor Urza Ender Thrawn: I do not believe we'll need that type of solution. We want allies and vassal states, not martyrs.

*The war cabinet continues to debate and discuss the matter well into the night.*

Dictator Tarr addresses his council:
"Imperal Galactica's armies have been spotted, armed, near our borders. We must prepare our army for any suprise assault upon our nation." He takes a deep breath and continues: "We do not yet know their intentions, but HAVE to take their mobilization into account. That is all for now."

Hellgan you are some deep trouble i dont want any part in this war but give me a telegram im new and i wanted to know how to do this. war thing you need some seriuos help. imperial galactica same thing with you. im good with military organization so if either of you need helpit goes to the biggest bidder. ive got some good plans

Damian called up Nueve italia and Utropia. We need to have a meeting. I will fax you my thoughts sign if you wish.
Damian looked to his allies. "Friends you need to sign this here."
He slams the agreement into the fax.
It reads
I Nueve italia, Utopria,And Hellgan Agree to have this triple aliance.
We will not attack each other for no circumstance. We will Fight by eachothers side no matter what the odds or the reson. Utropia will deal with the economies.
Nueve Italia you have the political aspects. Hellgan will run the military. We do not pass anything without the others permision. Athis state your position in this and we will agree or disagree.
Damian grabed his pen and began to sign.
Anyone who feels they want to be part of our treaty. State your nation and what you will do for us.
Damian stood up and looked out the window now is our time. he paused "we will rise again, sign this and we will grow to be one of the biggest powerhouses out there.

Im sorry to say its not in the best intrest for me to even mention being in this war i am officialy pulling out.

So far, there isnt a war. There are some THREATS that hopefully, Imperial Galactica will clear up. Hopefully we can avoid war. But right now, there isnt any. We are sorry that you feel this way, and hope your nation prospers.
