BREAKING NEWS:
a group of several hundred people have gathered outside of the Law Council Building in Kanaq, Alalaea after learning that a law was passed to make it mandatory to call your spuose "darling" aat least once a day or pay a $200 fine. The rioters claimed that, "We should have the right to call our husbands and wives anything we want, whenever we want." and "We're a democracy aren't we?" After hearing of this incident, Premier D'Nung sent a cavalry force of 400 spear bearing, axe wielding, sword wielding horse soldiers to the site of the riot with orders to, "Stop the rebels by any means necessary." However, the arrival of the military didn't stop the riot. Upon arriving, General Herstaag (a major Alalaean general) ordered his troops to push the rioters away with their spears, but they did more than that. The cavalrymen charged the mob and began picking off the rioters with their spears. After over 250 rioters had died, the mob finally retreated and broke up. The cavalrymen immdeiately telegrammed the Premier about what had happened and the parliament is still debating what should be done with the rioters.
