OOC: The first thread became too crowded with OOC, so, this will serve as the IC thread only. The rules/timeline is set at the OOC Thread, everyone interested, Post your CHaracter on that thread, or TG me and I will add you to the Player List.

The OOC thread can be found here: http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=381601

It should be known that there is no single SL in this Role-Play. It is encouraged that Players come together in small groups to Role-Play a Story-Line, because, in the vast realm which is the Morrowind Game world, it will simply be too complicated and confusing to have every Player come together for a single SL.

That is the goal that I had intended for the Role-Play, a place for people to live their Character, unbound by the Game, with other Players. There's a vast world out there, my friends...live it up.

IC:

Carnivus Curio watched as the Ship made its way towards Raven Rock, in such a sad, meandering way. The skies were still thick with grey, brackish clouds, just barely letting the sun through to add light to the dim surroundings. His attention was broke away, as he heard a gluttoral voice, unmistakably Khajiiti.
"Are you the Knight Protector I seek?"

Carnivus turned to face the Khajiit, his expression was noticably curious. The only thing that that Carnivus had seen besides IMperials, were Nords and the odd Argonnian. It was obvious that the Khajiit had just arrived, for he wasn't marked with the ever-prevelant, down-trotten stare that was common amongst the settled people, faced with the new revelations.

"No, I am not the commanding Knight Protector here, you're speaking of Chronos," Carnivus spoke solomnly, "what is your name, Khajiit?"

"Taccccitussss! My friend! Welcome back to Balmora!" came the ever annoying cry of "Gold Toung" Gerduu, the Argonian. "It'ssss been sssso long ssssincccce you've come to visit me!"

Tacitus sighed. Give one Argonian a free sample of skooma, and they'll never leave you alone. Gold Toung was a constant reminder never to get repeat customers you can't stand. He looked around and decided he couldn't fake ignorance of the loud 6'7" lizard. He'd just have to deal with him. He signed again, life could be so cruel.

"Taccccitussss, buddy, did you bring me any of that Imperial food that I love sssso much?" the Argonian was practically jumping up and down in anticipation. Wholely unlike their kind, but the locals were used to his antics.

"I suppose I did remember some, now how about 400 drakes for it, so long as you go quickly and start eating it." A discount for a moments peace didn't sound too bad. "Well, do you want your meal or not?"

"Yesss yess.... I'll be right off. Here you go." The Argonian replied as they made their exchange. "I have some interesting news for you too."

This was going to be good, Tacitus thought. Often the Argonian's news turned out to be about Dwemer ruins already stripped of their valuables, or smugglers opperating out of places Tacitus didn't care to go, and never would. But information was money, and once or twice, the Argonian actually had some useful and profitable news.

"They sssay that the Fort Moonmouth Commander, Carnivussss ssssomething issss looking for sssilver. Ssssilver ssswords to go to Ssssolssstheim." The Argonian amended, and looking pleased went on. "Although what they could be for issss anyone'ssss guesssss." Gold Toung wandered away leaving Tacitus alone to ponder his words.

"Silver Swords?" He thought to himself. "I didn't know there were any undead in the Norse colonies. Sure the Dunmer love to post undead all over their burial grounds here.... But I can't think of any reason for it in Solstheim."

He continued to ponder the situation as he talked to some of his other local contacts, none of which giving him any light as to why Carnivus Curio needed such weapons, or even knowing that he needed them at all. It all seemed rather strange, that a lone Argonian could know something the rest of the underworld lowlifes did not. Tacitius was tempted to just leave it at just the fevered ramblings of a Skooma addict, but something in the back of his mind told him otherwise. And that something had often been the provider of a great profit.

He spent the next five hours buying up the local surplus of silver weaponry. He briefly considered purchasing some magical swords as well, but discounted it. They were far too expensive, and he wanted to hedge his bet. Thinking in advance, he also picked up some of the local food and some mundane axes as well. A foriegn axe would look nice in a Norseman's hand, and he wouldn't walk away from this trip with no profit at all.

Loading up his crate, he prepped his recall scroll. For the life of him, he could never get the real spell to work, although his "mark" was spot on. In moments, he was looking at the towering splender of Vivec, as well as the local seat of Imperial Power in Morrowind (OOC: Sorry, for the life of me I can't think of the name), and much more importantly, it's docks.

Soon, and with a little help loading his crate from the local shore help (only lost him 30 drakes all told), he was in the water, and heading for the Imperial colony of Raven Rock.

(OOC: Drop me a TG if you have any ideas you want to share with me.)

"No, I am not the commanding Knight Protector here, you're speaking of Chronos," the man said solomnly, "what is your name, Khajiit?"

"I am Rahkin Torkin, Lawman of House Telvanni. Master Ayron, unlike the other Telvanni Counselors, is quite...interested in the happenings of Solstheim and the study of lycanthropy. I am here to study the werewolves, and what has caused this uprising of Hircine's beasts. Although I do not like this island. The snow...it feels cursed by The Hunter." Rahkin straigtened up, and cocked his head ever so slightly. "You are of Imperial Legioncy, if I am not mistaken. May you lead me to this Chronos? I may be of service to this base, and still get my observations for my house."

Romanus started approaching the Kahjit from behind, his Templar boots clacking against the cement floor. He chuckled. "Hello Kahjit."

Romanus was no stranger to Kahjits. He's seen them enter his village as traders and he travelled Morrowind. He's seen many kinds of Kahjits, rich and poor. So it was really hard to surprise him now. "A Kahjit in House Telvanni, I thought I'd never see the day."

Romanus chuckled. "I am Romanus Maximus, Knight Protector of Peligiad. If you're looking for de Draken he should be around here somewhere. So why are you here?"

Rahkan stated at Romanus. "Ah, I grow impatient. You are not Chronos either? Then the rumors are true. The Imperial Legion is slowly being recalled. It is begining to happen. Morrowind is slowly being let go of Imperial control. So that is why a Peligiad Legionare is on Hircine's Island. No matter. I am here to study The Hunter's beasts, the werewolves. Comes, mabye you can help me also find this Chronos I seek."

Romanus smirked. "Rumors. You Telvanni grab on to your superstisions too much. I can tell you what you need to know about werewolves if ye want it. But if you want de Drakan, he's somwhere in the fort." He was never a fan of mages, espcially the Telvanni. You really can't trust a House that wants to plot the Empire's downfall you know?

Hasheen was nearing the boat as he felt a sharp pain in his tail. He screamed and rose out of the water. "Who are you?" demanded a Bosmer voice. Hasheen hissed and replied, "Mage's Guild representative Hasheen! I have come in search of the reinforcements to go to Solstheim." "Sorry... sir," replied the Bosmer, "I thought you were one of 'them'." "Who are 'they' and why are you shooting them?"

The Bosmer, whose name was Fental Norbrush, was the Archer captain. He caught Hasheen up on the happenings in the past days. "Apparently, the same ship which had picked up the reinforcements at Khuul from Gnisis had some refugees from Solstheim. One of them had been horribly injured in the fighting and was being sent back to Ald'Ruhn for healing. When we got to Gnaar Mok, it was night time. He started shivering and breaking out. We helped him out of the boat over there until a man in a red cloak and black armor came and talked to him. Then the man stood up and attacked the local healer. He was apparently working without a warrant from the Mage's Guild but that guy didn't look Guild. The man then said some more words to the hurt guy who was now feasting on the guys guts and then smiled and walked east. The guy, who looked more like a monster, kinda like a bear we saw in Solstheim but skinner and more vicious, started just attacking everyone. So we got as many people as we could get and just took off out here to wait til the monster is gone."

Hasheen then reported that there was no one in Gnaar Mok except some Guild and Redoran, and that it would be safe to go back to the town. The ship then sailed towards the docks and Dreth waved excitedly at Hasheen as the boat came back.

Tacitus Valonius, despite having been on boats for longer than he could remember, still wasn't used to the tossings and turnings common for such a vessel. Especially not a vessel in the middle of a storm. While the ship's crew worked hurredly to keep the ship afloat, despite the constant thrashing of surf against the side, Tacitus was busy emptying his supper over the side.

He colapsed on the deck, letting the waves washing over the side pelt him, and perhaspe allow him to better withstand the rocking of the ship. No such luck.

The crew, primarilly Imperials, but also a smattering of Nords and local Dunmer, were doing a decent job keeping the thing afloat. "Odd weather." One of the Dunmer commented. "I've sailed this path many times, but never with such a storm in the summer. Not since the Red Mountain was inhabitted."

An Imperial sailor nodded and turned to his ally. "Well, I'm sure it's just a freak storm. Got to be one sometime." and shrugged a particularly Imperial shrug. "Almost does make you want to believe in superstitiion though. As if something doesn't want us to get there. It's like that every time I've sailed through a huge storm, but I've always made it okay."

"I wonder if this storm has anything to do with the rumors of monsters in Silstheim." Another Imperial had piped up, further down the line. "It's so out of place, as the reports are, if this storm is caused by anything, it's some malevolent force trying to keep us from getting there."

Tacitus rolled away from their talking and tried to sleep, as the rain and surf continued to batter him. He'd find out about the rumors and about the Legions soon enough, if the ship made it through the night.
