This thread is just for those who are participating to figure out this rather complicated plot line. Here is my summary:

The Lindimese Navy was duped into sending half of the fleet, a very large number, over to attack Avios. Tre, the Socialist Intelligence Minister, did this to provide a distraction while she attempts to overthrow the Capitalizt Prime Minister Intry Fuego. Fuego was recently re-elected overwhelming against a Socialist.

Back to the navy, after an initial attack on Avios bases and ships, Avios responded by attack Lindimese factories, bases, and shopping malls, a civilian target like none other, with incendiary missiles. The Navy was going to turn back when they heard about the civil war, and declare a truce with Avios, but the missiles convinced them to stay and fight it out. The Lindimese fleet has recently launced a massive cruise missile retaliation against Avios, but not at civilian targets.

Back at the capital of Lindim, Iova, the Loyal Marines and the Socialist Marines are fighting. The Special Forces are loyal to Tre while the Linits, a secretive protection group, are loyal to the Prime Minister. Fuego was kidnapped, and right now the two leaders of the remaining Lindimese government are Kert Tirrew, the Minister of Commerce, and the Marine Sand General Nuhmi.

An Aviosian ally Microlaniea is sending its fleets to engage the Lindimese fleet, while Azazia and Mattvia have allied themselves with Lindim's government in fighting off the insurrection. Note that Mattvia and Azazia have not decided to fight Avios, but to help defeat the rebellion in Lindim.

OK, can I do a bit or RPing my dude in Lindim? He's staying in a hotel in the capital, and is rather nonplussed at what's going on, bit will be trying to get to a Lindimese navy rep who knows him (anyone will do) so that he can ascertain the situation. Meanwhile, I'll put up a discussion between the PM and the Defence Minister.

Bump, for more is happening. On another note, I am finding it challenging to navigate four separate plot lines at one, so if I do something stupid like responding to DPUO's post too early, please forgive me.

For the record, I'm not following the internal strife in Lindim too closely, as Avios doesn't know much about it. Right now we're concerned with repelling the hostile ships.

Yello! I'm about to post my fleet moving to an RV point and holding there. Said RV point will be one of the northernmost islands of French Polynesia, which is fairly close to Lindim. Thereafter, as Kurichev learns more, the Fleet will be deployed appropriately.

Sorry I could not post today, I'll get something up tomorrow. :(

Okay, I'll update the summary for tomorrow. I just want to let everyone know, and I will mention this in the other thread, that I am going to be away for vacation from Monday to... the Second of January.

Sorry for the sporadic posts, I've been a bit busy. After the holiday season, I will be more consistent. Thank you for all the participation! This is a very... complicated RP. At least, from my five-different-plotlines-to-handle view. :p

Just one question: do you want me to Rp what happens to my dude following this explosion or will this just be a kind of scenic thing which you used as a handy pause?

You may simply assume it rattled the car; it was, as you say, a scenic pause.
