The Praetonian delegation consisted of Prime Minister and Imperator-to-be Sarius Publius, the Foreign Secretary Lucius Agrippa, the Defence Secretary Publius Varro and several nameless diplomats. They stood in a circle in the middle of a large, ornate room. It was the throne room of the administratio antiquus [Old Regime] from where the Feudal Kings of the old isolationist Praetonia had ruled. It had remained unopened ever since the revolution. On the ceiling were carved ornate figures and eagles, some of a variety never seen on any official currency of document since. Around the room stood several Horseguards, standing stiff to attention with ceremonial golden spears. The party in the middle of the room simply exchanged gossip and small talk, waiting for their guests to arrive so the ceremony could begin.

As the Duchess looked out the window of the Harlesburg Royal One 747 she could see the beginings of a massive city far larger, brighter and more prosperous than any city in Harlesburg or of any of the twelve other Provinces that made up the Confederation Of Harlesburg.
She could see vast Motorways sprawling and all projecting into a sinlge bustling abyss an abyss of activaty.Their were massive 70 story high buildings everywhere and many higher than that the scale of things was beyond comprehension. The city was Praeton.
She came from one of the smaller Provinces Kitchenerrie and comparisions would be like chalk and cheese between the two.
Thru marriages back in the past Kitchenerrie had kept its annominity from some of the other more Warlike Provinces the close link with the major Province of Harlesburg had ensured this.
"Oh Eddie look at that".She said with joy in here voice
"Yes it truely is amazing we were on the brink of building such magnificent cities until the Stock Market crash sapped much of our Nations resources dry we are only begining to recover now.But please stop calling me Eddie im your Ruler."
"Sorry Duke Edward but its so hard to break old habits."
At this time Over the Dukes Personal Aircraft's Intercom came.
"Were Just about to reach Praetonia's Prima Urbes Airport and should be on the ground in four minutes."

Lewis smiled slightly as Sarzonia Two taxied on the runway preparing for takeoff. She all but begged the President to let her take this trip to Praeton to watch the coronation of Sarius Publius as Imperator. She remembered that the last time she was leaving Sarzonia on Sarzonia Two was when she fled to Daurmont after Sarzo was kidnapped. This time, the occasion of her leaving Sarzonia was a much happier one.
She took out her cultural briefing on Praetonia just to make sure that she knew what she needed to. She didn't want to make an embarrassing mistake on this first international trip. If she was going to take over as President someday, she knew she'd need to develop some finesse for the job.
"How long does it take to fly to Praeton," she asked the pilot.
"Eight hours if we can get a nice tailwind," the pilot answered.
"Where did you say we were staying?"
"I believe you were supposed to sleep at the embassy."
"Oh, right."
Lewis pulled out her CD player and put the earphones on her head. She hit play and soon Aretha Franklin helped Lewis pass the time on the flight. She also would catch some sleep on the couch while in midflight and she was looking forward to meeting Praetonian government officials.
A few hours later, Lewis woke up when she heard the pilot.
"Control tower, this is Sarzonia Two. Request permission to land. Over."
"Wow, that was quick," Lewis said.
"Seven and a half hours."
"Not bad."

The small, sleek lear-jet rocketed over the water, small plumes of petrol creating a slipstream that stopped any unfortunate bird from being sucked into the engine. Gaius sighed, this would be a hard visit. The last encounter he had experienced with the Praetonians had been during the civil war, and that hadn't been a very nice encounter. He barely survived when his plane had crashed into the mountains, knocked out of the sky by Praetonian missile fire. But as they say, forgive and forget.
Gaius beckoned a stewardess over to him. "When will we be landing?"
"In about fifteen minutes, your excellency. The pilot is going to radio air traffic control now."
"Thank you."
In the pilot's cabin....
"This is Dimmimaran Envoy to air-traffic control. Do we have permission to land?"
Imperial Royal Airplane N.1 was flying high in the skies, the whole Imperial Family was gathered in the plane.
Emperor Jens, Emperess Jessica, Prince Illias and Princess Layla.
The pilot nodded, 2 Hours till Praetonia Sir.
The Emperor smiled, finally, he would meet his old friends.
He had been away from the world stage to long, this was the day he would make his re-entrance.
He closed his eyes and thaught of the old times, Jessica was reading a magazine, Illias was playing CounterStrike and Layla was calling a friend.
2 Hours Later.
Imperial Royal Airplane N.1, permission to land, over.

The hum of the luxurious transport plane relaxed Princess Amashi as it left the airport and soared through the sky, west towards Praetonia. It's sleek form was immediately identifiable by the Royal Insignia painted upon it's side and the stripe of green running down it's length.
"How long are we going to be Lieutenant?" Amashi asked.
Lieutenant Hatsuku looked over, he was one of two unarmed Royal Guardsmen assigned to protect her in the event of an emergency. They would stay nearby the ceremony at all times, hoping to keep her safe from enemy hands. They apparently had made a lot of enemies, with an assassination attempt on her and the death of Queen Sarah III just afterwards.
"It should take about five hours your highness, shall I put on a movie for you?"
She shook her head slowly, and pulled out a Game Boy Advance SP instead. The Lieutenant frowned dissaprovingly, but she shot back a look that could have curdled milk. Plugging it into the power socket underneath her seat, she sat down to a long, relaxing game of Advance Wars 2.

Five hours later...
"Princess, we have entered Praetonian airspace and will be landing soon." Hatsuku informed her.
She faintly heard his warning, and faintly heard the Pilot hailing Praetonian Air Traffic Control. Unfortunately, she was too absorbed trying to stop the Black Hole's Air Force from decimating her tanks, with little success.

Sarzo hurried out of the Gray House. He was going to make an unannounced visit to the coronation ceremony and he didn't even want Nicole to know about it. He was going to essentially defy orders from his closest friend in the government and fly to Praeton.
At least I'll get a vacation out of this, Sarzo thought. Nicole and Mike would be on their way to the Capostication but he wanted to see Sarius receive the crown as the Imperator. He felt his friendship with Publius warranted the risk of angering Lewis for the moment.
Sarzonia One was the luxury accomodations for the President, but speed was of the essence this time. He decided to take Jay along in a Sarzonian fighter jet with a full escort. The Zoogie-built ZaS 27M fighter jet was one of the fastest in the Sarzonian Air Force and its speed would be needed, Sarzonia Two would be used to ferry both Sarzo and Lewis to Timiocata.
"Okay, you want me to push which button again," Sarzo asked.
"The one next to the fuel gauge."
"Which one next to the fuel gauge?"
"The red one."
Sarzo finally found the button after Tyler pointed it out to him and the jet took off.
"Lord help us all," Tyler said over the radio.
Finally, Sarzo started getting the hang of it when he realized it was like a video game he'd been playing. Within three hours, the jets signalled to Praeton.
"Sarzonian convoy approaching with President Sarzo and First Partner Jay Tyler aboard. Request permission to land. Over."

Prima Urbes Airport, Praeton, was busy. People and planes rushing back and forth from various exotic locations. All except for one, upon which several black limos, with gold eagle insignia on their bonnets, were parked awaiting planes carrying foreign dignitaries. The air traffic control department was organising them into a que, but most of the planes arrived at a different time to one another, and so they were all quickly cleared.
Along the edge of the runway and outside the terminal were several IPO-35 Badger LSV (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=382441)s that the Praetonian government was hoping to sell in large quantitiies and hence kick-start the ground forces section of the export arms industry. Also positioned for the security of the delegates were several hundred troops, although they stayed close to the boundaries to keep a low profile.
Very soon the delegates would be in the throne room where the coronation would take place...[/hint]

Dumpsterdanian embassy, Praeton
The large gate slid aside into the wall of the complex to allow the ambassadors convoy to pass into the street. Normally this would be a few armoured cars and a handful of bodyguards carrying concealed small arms, however the war had made everyone twitchy and extra security details had been issued to all Dumpsterdanian assets.
Two Rhino APC's filled with Royal marines from the 7th brigade, packing both inside the hull and on-top with the ambassadors armoured car in the centre.
The first APC rolled into the streets, curious onlookers stared at the convoy as the marines and the turret gunners carefully scanned the area for threats, there was no deal made with the Praetonians about using or displaying weapons outside the compound and their orders where to get the ambassador to the tower and no-one was to stop them.

Six Horseguards trotted to each side of the APCs, and a further three trotted in front and behind. Usually armed vehicles were not permitted to leave embassy compounds, but since Dumpsterdam was a secret ally, they were willing to make an exception rather than an incident...

Sarzo and Tyler both went around the back entrance to the palace. They didn't want to make a big show of their appearance since they weren't supposed to be there in the first place, but they were in Praeton in spite of Sarzo's less than skillful piloting of the SZ-1 Vulture fighter jet provided by the Avalon Aerospace Corporation.
The guard at the door asked Sarzo for identification, which he calmly provided. The guard's slightly arched eyebrow betrayed his and his company's usually calm demeanor.
"Your exellencies, you weren't on the guest list."
"I know," Sarzo replied. "We figured we wanted to surprise the Imperator to be."
"Very well. You may go through."
Sarzo and Tyler walked deliberately through the palace and found two empty seats near the stage where Lewis was sitting. She looked back wondering what the noise was and saw Sarzo.
"Mike! What are you doing here," she asked with annoyance in her whisper.
"I couldn't stay away," Sarzo whispered. Lewis scowled for a moment, then she thought the better of starting a confrontation. After all, Publius and Sarzo were friends and she figured Mike wanted to see his friend get coronated. She and Mike were about to go to Pacitalia anyway so Sarzonia Two would ferry the both of them.
"You get to represent Sarzonia officially since you're here in official capacity. I'm just here as a friend of Sarius," Sarzo whispered.
"Works for me," Lewis whispered. The three then turned their attention to the impending ceremony.
