Yafor 2

Major General Paulo Dogrod strode down into the basement below the Cabinet building. How come he had not been told, he was the commander of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th armies! How come he hadn't been told about these technologies that would improve his troops greatly and win wars! He was an army commander, for the Flamesearers sakes! He had only got the news when the public announcement had come, two hours ago! These arrogant scientists! His anger was tripled upon his face, the reason the scientists around him shrunk back to the walls.
He was led into a circular room. It was about 36 feet high and 30 feet in diameter, Major General Dogrod guessed. He had majored in Engineering before he had joined the army so he thought he had a right to say what was length was what.
The room was bathed in an odd blue light and Major General Dogrod knew exactly where it was coming from. In fact, it was obvious. A cylinderical glass pillar-like object was in the center of the room, reaching from the floor to the cealing. Major General Dogrod estimated it at about 7 feet in diameter. The glass pillar was surrounded by a metel railing with a sign upon it saying "Dangerous:Keep Away." The Major General was used to those signs; he had set up many himself. The man who was next to that glass pillar made the Major General's scarred face to emit surprise...a lot of it.
The man next to the object was a schoolmate-and enemy-of Major General Paulo Dogrod's. He had glasses with thick frames, a French beard(so out of fashion), sideburns, and brown hair. He also wore a smug expression.
"Well, well, well, I didn't expect to see Porky Dogrod to be the Major General to come here! I thought he had eaten himself to death years ago.
Major General Dogrod flushed, for he had once been very obese, and still had a little bit of a beer-belly. "You're supposed to show me some holo-thing that helps me and my troops.
"Oh, yes. Watch and learn. All you do is take this wristband, secure the velcro, and press the button. The image that is in your head will be transposed onto the floor. See, I am thinking of you, and walla! You appear! Easy!"
Major General Dogrod looked at the copy of himself that had appeared in the cylindriacal glass object and grinned. "Perfect! Do you need this...thing?
"The Hemogroga? No, that is only for tests. Take it, now your enemies will see your armies 14 times as large as they are. Fire a bullet, it does. The enemy thinks they are injured, but they aren't. It get's complicated when the enemy is shot in a fatal area, but never mind. It is a brain-befuddling divice that may bring Yafor 2 power beyond all knowing!"
