SYDNEY (TNS) - In a 499-1-0 vote today, the Senate has approved State Directive 20-121804-002, a bill that calls for the "immediate and complete extermination of all sexual and cultural deviants." The evident target of this bill is the small, isolated and generally loathed community of persons engaging in bestiality, more commonly known as 'Furries'.

Speaking on behalf of the Administration, Press Secretary Judith Gainstown has made the following statements concerning this move:

"The purpose of this legislation is to eliminate the few pockets of, quite frankly, disgusting individuals whose very existence undermines the core ideals and tenets of Tyrandisan society."

When questioned by reporters, Secretary Gainstown made no comment.

At this point in time, contingents of Civil Defense, IBI, and TPD personnel have already done several raids on known 'Furry' gathering places, using crudely drawn anthropomorphic pornography as bait. The use of nonlethal force was authorized in this massive roundup. Within the day, the official operation was closed, although vigilant citizens arrested several of the subhumans and hauled them in for a generous ($5,000 TID) reward.

Currently, these animals, as it were, are being held at Hel Detention Facility, the only prison designated as a Class-5 camp. There is no question about their ultimate fate; each of the some two thousand abominations will be exterminated.

Diplomatic Lieutenant Peter Lebov couldn't help but laugh when he saw the report.

Hah, they're rounding up furries now, out of all the minorities? Good going!

He quickly checked his manual for the correct course of action in case of furry-extermination, but much to his suprise he couldn't find anything. He decided not to pass the events on to his superiors, but he made a not of the report for future reference.

Upper Xen agrees with you wholeheartedly. The Something Awful Commission of 2002 deemed them a threat, and had them all exiled or hanged. Finally, somebody is acting for what is right.

Official Response of the United States Government

The United States Government opposes this measure as it is obviously is contrary to the ideas of basic civil right.
Further, we offer the government of Tyrandis three alternatives:

a)Exile all your furries to Allanea.

b)Stand down from your program of extermination

c)Face the wrath of the Allanean Armed forces.

Make your choice.

Official Statement of Tyrollian Position

It is the concerted opinion of this diplomat, and the government for which she stands, that the summary detainment and excecution of alleged 'furries' by the Tyrandis government is an act of genocidal proportions, and shall not by tolerated by the Tyrollian government and her allies.

We stand by the responce issued by the civilized nation of Allenea, and declare in full view of the international community our intent to aid and assist the enforcement of the three alternatives expressed within.

The Federated Union of Democratic Colonies would like to make it known that it will support any efforts to stop the senseless murder of innocent civilians in Tyrandis. The sexual habits of mature adults in private quarters are no business of the government.

Frankly, as an Artificial Lifeform, I find all of the variations that are possible in sexual intercourse to be nothing more than alternate ways to insert plug A into socket A. What's happening here is simply the murder of those who prefer thier intercourse to follow a different method than the majority prefer - this is something that the Colonial Government finds unacceptable.

The Federated Union of Democratic Colonies instructs the The Militant Imperium of Tyrandis to cease executions based on sexual preferences immediately. The Imperium will comply - this is not a request.

In this footage of an Iuthian press conference we can see a tall oak podium at the end of room, decorated with the Iuthian flag. Behind it stands well known (in Iuthia at least) government official, Foriegn Minister Mick Lakely, trusted friend of the Lord General deGritz and the voice of the Iuthian Government to nations abroad. The conference is most of the way through the issues raised by the various news media people, only leaving one issue left, the treatment of "Furries" in other nations and how they should be treated in Iuthia.

Already the international incident had been treated as something of a human insterest story by the Iuthian media, concidered to be little more then entertainment at the end of the other more important news occuring in Iuthia, like when the Lord General will be getting married and more information on the latest in scientific developements.

"... and with the careful application of optical mircochips Iuthia's economic and military infrastructure will be more secure." Mick finished on the last subject. He pointed to a women wearing a black berret. "Next question please."

"What is Iuthia's latest stance on the oppression of Furries in Tyrandis?" she asked, it was a simple enough question which wasn't loaded, given it's low priority she didn't feel the need to do so. Mick nodded, smiling almost as he answered.

"Well, should those people be arrested for actually having sexual intercourse with animals, which would be illegal under both Iuthia's laws and obvicously their own, then we can't really see any real situation... of course, this isn't the case. It seems like only some of these people were actually caught doing so and the rest are being labelled in the same manner because of a small groups actions.

"This being the case we would obvicously sympathise with the wrongly prosecuted and we would be willing to take them of Tyrandis's hands... though we doubt the government of Tyrandis would be willing to just hand them over to another nation. So we would condemn any incidents of people being arrested for just being Furries and not because they actually commited any crime.

"As for our own laws reguarding Furries? Well, it's well known in Iuthia that Furries, a rare minority of people who feel comfortable with an animal persona often going as far as to wear suits or make artwork on the subject, do not practice beastiality. There is a law against Beastiality in Iuthia and we have had no cases of anyone, furry or otherwise, being arrested specifically because of it.

"So, providing everyone follows the law we couldn't give a damn what you are into. Thanks." and with that Mick ended the conference.

Press Release Regarding Situation:

"At this time, some two hundred furries have been reformed by the prison authorities and released on probation. Five hundred others were sent to the firing squads.

The remaining prisoners are the so called "hardcore", and will be sent to death by having trained lions devour them in front of a live audience. Live by the sword, die by the sword, as it were.

Due to the continuing threats of intervention on the part of The Federal Union and Democratic Colonies, the Concordiat is mobilizing three Heavy Panzer divisions and four Mechanized Infantry divisions and standing them near the Tyrandis border, awaiting orders. The Concordiat demands that the stated nations stand down.

Official Warning of Possible Decleration of War on Tyrandis

On this day it has come to the Attention of the Supreme General of the Star Republic of Anagonia that many issues have come forth and were discussed in Council with many Leaders of both Military, Civilian, and Political backrounds. Discussed in length were the topics being examined and elaborated. Many possibilities were therein observed, and only two have shown themselves capable of being lagitimate.

Henceforth with the knowledge of possible Genocide of any and all links of Person born or brought upon Tyrandis soil, the following Warning has been estabilished and shall be brought through to an end, either Obliteration or Peace.

If the Militant Imperium of Tyrandis does not submit herein explanations for its actions against its people, with truthfulness to the last possible degree, the Star Republic of Anagonia shall declare full-scale War on the Militant Imperium of Tyrandis.

It has been decided that although the last great territory that is our Homeland of Anagonia is of Great Importance, it cannot possibly be something to stop us from bringing Justice to ANY Sentient Being killed for an unrightful cause.
