The SR-080 "Patriarch" is a new sniper rifle developed by SolarStar Corporation (http://s4.invisionfree.com/The_NC_Forum/index.php?showforum=39). The rifle uses a 8.6x70mm round, which is rarely seen in rifles but is highly effective as an anti-personell specific-target round.

Semi-Jacketed Exposed Steel Core: Light Armour-piercing bullet with hardened steel core. Bullet has alluminium jacket that covers all except the head of bullet. Provides excellent anti-personell results. Also, the round pierces kevlar vests and possibly titanium plates that soldiers wear for extra protection (exact measurement of penetration is unknown)

kind of an unusual caliber, what is the price of ammunition?

The 8.6x70mm is a very rare caliber. We do not have an estimation of the price of ammunition, but being that it is Semi-Jacketed Exposed Core as well as a rare caliber, it would most likely be the cost of a .50, possibly even more.
