Central Afrikaan Mountans, the Valley of Death:

The swirling snow swung around the train of vehicles. Ice frozen on the wheels, engines fialing to start, people freezing. Thousands of soldiers were in the convoy, heading over the mountains to get to the site. No one really knew what they were doing, freezing in the mountains, tying to drag their vehicles and slupplies with them, no one knew, no one wanted to know.

As the familar sound of engines starting to roar, soldiers started jumping into their specified vehicles, still freezing. Soldiers ears were red hot, burning with cold. The soldiers felt something they never felt before, fear of the weather. Being in the Afrikaan Mountains, while trying to get to the site, it was hell forzen over. More soldiers were going back on the constant line of trucks than thoose going forward. Too many have been frost bitten, guns already jamming, the weather well below -10C.

The truck line kept going forward, medic trucks jammed with freezing soldiers. Soldiers turning on the ovens in the trucks to stay warm, and hundreds of men piling into trucks while the first ones disembarked for the area. No one knew, no one wanted to know.

The last trucks were loaded up and then sent off with the rest. Soldiers of the 35TH National Guard were on this mission through the mountains. Men of the 139A3 Squad were in the front of the convoy when they heard the sound of heavy machine guns and mortars.

Trucks in front of them started to flapper as soldiers jumped out and started firing towards the hills of the valley, blood staining the fresh snow red, just to be covered with snow once again. Soldiers of the 139A3 jumped out of their trucks after locking up. The Heavy Machine Gunner, Kine Jieneb, lawed down his machine gun and looked at the fire from the hills, he pulled back the lever and let loose on the flashes, the firing maintained for a while, as snipers picked of men on both sides, the rebels started raining mortars onto the unsuspecting soldiers once again.

Soldiers of the Support Squads started firing their mortars with deadly precision[metal storm mortars]. Explosions landing on either side of anybody, fragments flying. Then, everything stopped, a red flag was rasid over the hills and then, hundreds of rebels ran down the slopes towards the first trucks. The soldiers proceded to hip-it and spray all over. The National Guardsmen quickly opened up with birsts and full-auto, offivers grabbing swords and charging leading more soldiers to their death.

The rebels were haulted and all who were alive were then interogatted and sent to a death-grave camp for later death. The rebels, the Red Death Corps, or RDC had been harassing Afrikaan Farmers going through the mountain pass for sometime. The Valley had been nick-named the "Valley of Death" as that anyone who passed through alive was a magician.

The National Guard men gathered the dead Afrikaans and put them in empty trucks and drove them back to the base near the end of the mountains. The total of dead was well over what anyone had suspected and still they only cleared the enemy as a threat, not an enemy.
