The Assembly, Athens

The Emperor was standing on the podium and was looking at all the assembly members with a hard face and emotionless.

"My friends we all know about the Megali Idea (The Big Idea) that was a concept of Eleftherios Venizelos, one of the greatest politicians. His Megali Idea represented Greater Greece. We all know that we wanted this to happen but it never did. I remember two years ago I proposed to all of you of fulfilling Eleftherios Venizelos's dream of Greater Greece but you where all afraid to against the Turkish Army! But I tell you all this. I shall fulfill that dream and make Greater Greece! Because I am not afraid of those Turkish pigs that enslaved our country for 400 years! We are smatter and stronger then they will ever be and do you know why? Because we are Greeks! We are ancestors of Alexander the Great who conquered the known world. Until I will be able to do this I disband the Assembly!"

There was a shocking silence in the Assembly and there was confused looks on the assembly member's faces. One of them stood up.

"You can't do this Nikolaos! You know the people will never obey a dictator."

"I do not care old fool! I am the Emperor that won countless of battles and never lost one. I was the one that got as this far and now I will take us even farther. We shall take Turkey and Cyprus and I might even go further! Hoplites!"

The doors of the Assembly Chamber burst open as Hoplites came in.

"You are now all normal citizens. Resist against the Hoplites and you shall all be killed."

One by one the Assembly members left the Assembly building and the Hoplites followed behind. Nikolaos's most trusted General, George Papagos, came forth from the shadows.

"I hope you know what you are doing old friend." said the General

"Trust me on this. I shall complete the Megali Idea."

The next day…

Sorry for interrupting the scheduled program but the Emperor is giving a speech of declaration of war on Turkey right now. HNN is now going live outside of the Imperial Palace.

*Screen switches to the Imperial Palace*

"Citizens of Greece! I have an important announcement today. Yesterday I have disbanded the Assembly! Because I would not have gotten support from it on the decision I decided. I officially declare war on Turkey. I will be leaving with the Hellenic Army to go liberate Cyprus and then to invade Turkey. I will leave my two sons Aris and Atticus in charged during my absence. And I promise you all this. When I come back I will not come back defeated but victorious! That is all. I will now go to my important meeting with my Generals."

With the live report from HNN everybody found out what the Emperor did. Some started questioning his sanity and others followed him. Will the Megali Idea lead the nation to a greater future or to its destruction? Nobody knew the answer to that question…

In the national waters of Cyprus

The 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Naval Fleets where approaching southwest of Cyprus. Admiral Stuckov, Emperor Nikolaos, General Atticus Onassis, General Olympia Stratopoulo and General George Papagos gathered in the planning room.

"Admiral Stuckov we will need to start a full bombardment of the southeast Cyprus coast. We need to take out all defenses especially anti-air defenses so our fighters and bombers can fly freely." Said Emperor Nikolaos

"I was just thinking of the same thing. Reports show here", while pointing on a map of Cyprus, "that there is barely any defense. If we are able to send Hoplites there with out being detected we will be able to take out the defenses here more easily." said Admiral Stuckov

"With your permission Emperor I will lead my forces there." said General Olympia Stratopoulo, the first female general in the Hellenic Army and the first general ever to command two Phalanx Divisions

"Alright you will do that then." replied back Nikolaos

"Then I guess we are ready to begin the liberation of Cyprus, the first phase of the Megali Idea." said General George Papagos

The Naval fleets begun a full bombardment of Cyprus's southern western coast. Hundreds of cruise missiles where being fired and they where darkening the sky with there numbers. Human cries can be heard from the coast as Turkish defenses where being wiped out.

Meanwhile south from where the bombardment was taking place amphibious landing ships landed on the shores and thousands Hoplites and tanks came out of them. Olympia on her white horse got out of one of the ships. Her sword was placed in its golden jeweled sheath while she held a hand gun with her left hand.

"Come on Hoplites! You all know what to do! Now attack!" yelled General Olympia

Thousands of Hoplites where marching towards a town which is sheltering the local Turkish militia. One of the Turkish patrols saw this and gave out the alarm. Turkish militia where coming out of there barracks while taking a rifle which was being handed to them at the exit. They where very disorganized. They just ran blindly against the invaders not knowing that there fate was death. The Hoplites meet them first with open fire from there AK-47s and the tanks where blasting shells at the Turkish militia. When the front line of the Hoplites where face to face with the Turkish militia they pulled out there swords and started slaughtering the Turkish militia. Olympia, still on her horse pulled out her sword to and was beheading any enemy militia that dared approach her.

After long hours of battle General Olympia's forces managed to defeat the Turkish militia and took no prisoners, already a town fell to Emperor Nikolaos's might. The southwest coast of Cyprus was bombarded to the extreme and there was no Turkish defense standing in the way for the coming reinforcements.

Paphos, Cyprus

The Generals and the Emperor where all sitting around a big wooden round table which was located in one of the buildings of the conquered town of Paphos.

"Casualties?" asked Nikolaos

"Surprisingly only a total 120 soldiers died. We lost no plans or ships during the bombardment too. It looks like the Turks are saving there ships for defense of Turkey. They are scared shittles to death of an attack on Turkey since we captured the southern cost of Cyprus with ease." answered Yiannis Yarapolos

"Emperor I would like to ask something. What if the Turks decide to strike back? Most of our army's strength is right here on Cyprus." asked General George Papagos

"Do not worry General George Papagos. My two sons Atticus and Aris, my brother Archimedes, and Lazaris Garapolos are defending Greece. They are excellent Generals and I trust them."

"Well then boys I think we should be worrying more about what we will do now then what's happening back in Greece." said Olympia

"Good point there Olympia. The Turks are keeping there main army in the most northern tip of Cyprus so they will be able to evacuate it faster incase we break through there militia forces. Olympia you already came up with an excellent plan may you please share it with the rest of the Generals." Said Nikolaos

"Yes I will" she went over to a projector and turned it on and it showed a map of Cyprus. "We currently have around 950,000 soldiers on the southern shores of Cyprus. The Turks have 900,000 militia and a 600,000 trained army. The Turks right now are keeping there army at the most northern tip of Cyprus where they are ready to instantly evacuate the army when we break through there militia force and pass the old U.N. buffer zone. To take Cyprus faster I suggest that Emperor Nikolaos leads the main force north west and I will lead my two divisions north east. We will cover more ground like this. But there is also another way to weaken the Turkish militia. There are still many Greek Cypriots living on Cyprus and there human rights have been abused many times. We can start a rebellion. But if we do that there will be another problem. Some Cypriots will want an independent Cyprus and not under control of Greece." said Olympia

"I think we should start the rebellion and later we can easily put down the Cypriots that will go against us." Said Nikolaos

"That’s what I think too." Said Olympia

The other Generals whispered to each other discussing about General Olympia's plan. After a few minutes General George Papagos spoke.

"This is a brilliant plan Olympia. The rebellion might be a bit risky but we can take the risk." Said General Papagos

"Well lady and gentlemen I guess we are ready to move out again. Also General Yiannis I would like you to go with Admiral Stuckov and tell him the plan so he can give us more Naval support." Said Nikolaos

"I will go right away then." Said General Yiannis

General Yiannis was the first to leave the room then General Olympia left to go organized her soldiers and after the rest of the Generals left to go and prepare. Nikolaos was left alone the way he liked it. Ever since his wife died and his third son died too Nikolaos liked to stay alone and think to himself.

If I pull this off I will be able to do much more and nobody will be able to stop me. I will be able restore Alexander's old Hellenic Empire too. Yes most of Asia and Europe shall belong to me. This time this Hellenic Empire will hold and will not crumble down like the past ones… he thought to himself.

OOC: This RP if for my claim on Turkey and Cyprus on Earth II. Also in this RP Cyprus got under total control of Turkey and the old U.N. buffer zone in Cyprus is gone. I will also post more when I get the time.

Greek Camp, Outside of Lamaca…

General Olympia was in a big military tent with the rest of her captains. They where discussing a last minute plan before they stormed the city of Lamaca.

"Olympia we should have made a plan earlier the Turks could be attacking any minute now."

"Don't worry captain they won't dare to attack us. They know we are much stronger and outnumber them greatly. We will have rocket artillery giving us support. But first I want to taunt them so we will start the bombardment of the city now. I have already send word to Admiral Stuckov to send a couple of carriers close to Lamaca's harbors. The Turks don't have any Navy here so our carriers will be safe and our bombers will bomb the hell out of the city. Once we taunted them enough we will storm the city and kill every last Turkish soldier and militia. Now Captain Alexandros send out the word to begin the bombardment."

"Yes General Olympia."

Artilleries where lined up outside of the city and started blasting shells onto the city. Bombers took off the carriers and began bombarding the city. Screams, cries and yell can be heard outside of the city with explosion as the background. After half an hour of bombardment Olympia gave out the orders to attack the city. Hoplites ran in the city shooting Turkish militia in sight. Tanks rolled down the streets and destroyed any defenses the enemy made. Hoplites where marching down the streets while the enemy militia ran from them with fear. But that did not save them. One by one they fell down as Hoplites fired on them. There where also accidents when artillery shells blew up into civilian houses but the Hoplites did not stop to help the injured civilians. After an hour of battle the Turkish flag was lowered from the flag pole in the city square and then it was burned as Hoplites chanted there war cry and there national anthem. The Greek flag was raised onto of the flag pole where it stood against the wind where it belonged.

Meanwhile......

Wasp-class landers of the 6th and 5th Marine Expeditionary Units, a total of 20,000 men and plenty of F-35's, were steaming towards the Mediterranean. Joined by a carrier group of five carriers, and several groups of other ships, they were to go to Turkey, and intervene in the area. Why?

The answer lay in the dossier that Admiral Xiao was holding in her hands as she stood on the Bridge.

It turned out that six weeks before, the Turkish government had nationalized several refineries beloning to the Xenizen Petroleum Company. They had not paid for them, and negotiations proved futile. Now, local Turks had begun to harm the refinery workers, and it was necessary for the Marines to intervene.

The Marine units sailed through the Suez Canal, and they began to go to Bursa.

As soon as they got to Bursa, she ordered, "Begin the bombardment."

Tomahawk missiles from the 5 Oliver Hazard Perry Frigates and the 4 Arleigh Burke Destroyers rained death and terror upon the Turks, demolish any anti-aircraft batteries and defenses they had.

Then, the F-35's of the UXS Heihichiro Togo and the Wasp carriers began to take off. About 50 of them in total screamed to areas around the refinery to clear out the remaining Turks, dropping bombs and napalm and forcing many Turkish militiamen and infantry units out of their positions.

After the 50 aircraft did their jobs, the Marines of the 1st Battalion landed, and they raised the Rooster Teeth flag over the refinery after routing the remaining fighters, who by now had been running in a hasty rout.

A few hours later, Xiao stepped on shore. She then said, "Nice job."

OOC: That was good. Aso are you attacking mainland Turkey right now or Cyprus? Because my forces are on Cyprus right now.

Captain Alexandros came bursting in the office of General Olympia.

"Olympia! Upper Xen has just attacked the local Turkish militia on Cyprus. Why they did this is still unknown but they might be trying to invade too!" said Captain Alexandros

"Do not worry. They will be fools if they try to attack us. But to be on the safe side I will send them a message and you should send a message informing the Emperor and the rest of the Generals." said Olympia

"Yes Olympia. I am on it right away." with that Captain Alexandros left her office and went to his own office to send a message informing the Emperor about Upper Xen. General Olympia went to her computer and began typing a encrypted message to be sent to Upper Xen.

I have just found out that you have attack the local Turkish militia on Cyprus. We would like to know if you have your own plans on conquering Cyprus and Turkey. If you do we will not allow you but if you are here to help us we can work together to defeat the Turkish militia and the militaristic Turkish government. I am also sure that if you help us Emperor Nikolaos will offer you land for military bases on either Turkey or Cyprus.

Very well then. Our Emperor knows of your presence in Turkey and he agrees that after the war the Xenizen Petroleum Company may take back its property. As we speak forces under the command of Emperor Nikolaos on the west side of Cyprus is heading to attack the Turkish Army at the most northern tip of Cyprus. I have beliefs that the Turkish Army will evacuate before the Emperor's forces reach them so I ask that you intercept all Turkish ships heading for northern Cyprus.

OOC: Thats all for tonight. I will post more tomorow.

IC: Recieving the message, she then said, "And send some destroyers, we are expecting Turkish hostiles in the area of Northern Cyprus."

"Yes'm" the adjutant said.

A few hours later, five destroyers and 3 frigates and an aicraft carrier began to go to intercept Turkish ships in Northern Cyprus. They would also escort one of the Wasp vessels, carrying 2,000 men to Nicosia to take their refinery back.

Outside of Nicosia, Cyprus:

A single Wasp-class ship, the No. 421, waited 50 miles near the Transport Complex.

Deploying F-35's, they began to scout for any Turkish forces. When they noticed that the Turks had fled in front of the Hellenic advance, the landers from the 421 went to the Transport Complex, and raised the Rooster Teeth flag over the area.

The escorts, meanwhile, began to take positions near the Transport complex, patrolling the coast for Turkish ships.

Northern Cyprus

Emperor Nikolaos's forces have meet with General Olympia's forces and have passed the old U.N. Buffer Zone. They where pressing on hard to attack the Turkish Army before it tried to evacuate. Upper Xen and Greek warships have already started intercepting Turkish ships leaving mainland Turkey.

Olympia on her horse rode a head to meet up with Nikolaos.

"Emperor we are approaching the Turkish Army. I have already gave commands to Admiral Stuckov to begin soon amphibious landings in back of the Turkish Army so we can attack by both sides."

"Good work General. Now go tell the rest of the captains to get there soldiers ready."

"Yes Emperor." With that Olympia rode back and meet up with the rest of the Generals and Captains.

As the Hellenic troops made the final push to take Cyprus, more troops from Upper Xen appeared in the newly taken cities of Nicosia and Bursa about 48 hours later.

The following forces joined their fellow Xenizens and mobilized to retake the Pipeline and the XPC facilities in Turkey.

At Nicosia:

Transportation (and quick reinforcement) provided by 600th 780th, and 700th Military Transport Wings-

OOC: Upper Xen I wont be able to post the battle until tomorow night because Hataria declared war on me.

OOC: That's fine. I just wanted to reinforce my men for later...I won't act until you do.

While the Hellenic Navy under the command of Admiral Stuckov was intercepting Turkish ships with the help from Upper Xen amphibious landings where taking place right behind the Turkish Army. Nikolaos's forces have started to attack the Turkish Army too.

Artilleries where lined up and where ripping the Turkish Army apart by firing artillery shells, tanks where rolling right through enemy lines trying to break there formation and Hoplites where attacking one the sides and at the front.

Nikolaos was on his horse and was galloping fast down the Turkish Army encouraging his Hoplites to fight on. He was beheading enemy soldiers at the same time and fired a couple of shots with his hand gun. But the unexpected happened. An enemy soldier jumped at the Nikolaos's horse trying to pull him down. He fell of his horse onto the cold, blood colored snow covered ground. He reached for his hand fats enough and shot the Turk right between the eyes before he had the time to pick up his rifle. Another enemy from far took aimed and fired but hit Nikolaos at his right shoulder then at his heart. He yelled in pain and a few Hoplites saw him and went to cover him.

"He lost conscious! Hurry up we need to get the Emperor to a medic. He is losing blood very fast."

The Hoplites picked him up while other soldiers came to cover them from Turkish fire. They took him and brought him to a near medical armored transport.

"Medic! The Emperor has been shot and is losing blood fast!"


"Bring him here fast! My crew and I will drive him back to camp."

The put Nikolaos onto the medical transport and the medic and crew drove off back to camp. The Hoplites feared that he will die but they had there hands full so they continued to fight on with the Turks. After two full hours of long, bloody battle the Hellenic Army was victorious.

General Olympia took the Turkish flag from a dead flag holder and put it on fire.

"Friends! We have liberated Cyprus!"

The army started cheering as every soldier threw there rifles in the air.

"This is a great victory but our beloved Emperor is currently dying…"

There where shocked faces as most of the soldiers did not know the Emperor got shot.

"But that does not mean we must stop here. Nikolaos would want us to continue onto Turkey itself!"

That put some hope to the soldiers and they started cheering again while the Emperor was being transported back to Greece by a helicopter so he can get proper medical attention.

OOC: Its for my claim on Earth II.

The Xenizen Marines at the Nicosia Transport Hub saw the incoming Hellenic troops, and with the aid of one of the men who knew Greek, they made a sign saying, "Hello, Friends!" and hung on the side of the refinery.

Meanwhile, the South China Sea Fleet went to Anatalya, and proceeded to bomb the Turks there with their F-35's and their Tomahawks. A few minutes later, the Korean Auxiliaries and the Wolves of Mibu landed onshore, violently routing all who stood in their way. The Xenizen flag rose again, this time, the refinery at Anatalya was Xenizen again.

Now it was time to go to Van.

"It doesnt yet" Samuel began "But looking at the Psycological profile of the new dictator of Greater Greece I have a feeling he wont stop with just these two, I have a fealing he will continue to exapand, and it wont be long before the Middle East is in his sights."

"And we are under threat" Moses concluded "Joab this is your time, the Air force got that budget expansion, show us what you have done with it"

"With pleasure" Joab said. He got up and clickede the remote control. "I give you the flare fighter. This is a new form of combined jet fighter and helicopter. Because of this combination, it is capeable of flying at extrodinaly low altitudes and targeting individual tanks, builidings and vechiles. At present we have 20 of these, and the fully sized conventional air force"

"And thanks to the air force sharing its budget with the army" Saul continued "after the flare fighter project was completed underbudget, we now have equiped over 50% of our infantry with the mobile MS turrets"

"MS?" Jacob Israel inquired

"Metal storm sir" Saul explained. "Think of a quad bike with the most powerful machine gun in the world straped to the front. Thats what over half of our infantry drive"

"I see", Jacob Israel considered his options. He rested his head in his hands for a momnet and than spoke. "Send two squadrons of advanced harriers to overfly Cyprus to make our presence known. I will send a diplomatic message"

In the dead of the night, a Cannanite advanced stealth harrier flew towards the upper levels of the atmosphere. It cut its engines and set itself to glide slowly towards the position of the North Cyprisian fleet. Beneath its wing was a very large missile. Specially modified with one purpose in mind. NightLight. Eventually it launced the misslie and flew back towards home. The missile meanwhile coasted along its path. It too had been made stealth, and been modified specificly for its puropse. It began to accelarate to faster than sound. It was on its path to overfly the Greek fleet.

The Xenizen Destroyer, UXS General Batov, was on patrol with the Hellenic Fleet North of Cyprus. Along with its comrades in arms, it was to patrol the seas between Cyprus and Turkey.

The radarman picked up a signal. "SIR! Unidentified Aircraft, Dead Ahead!"

The captain of the vessel decided to signal the plane. "Unidentified Aircraft, this is the UXS General Batov. Stand down. If you do not do so, we will fire."

OOC The aircraft turned back long ago. It came just to deliver the missile. The missile is now on a path over the Greek fleet. But to go along with you

The harrier turned back as demanded, but it made little diffrence. The missile was already wining its way towards the overfly path of the fleet. Its stealth was still intact so it would not be detected. On the missile were barrals with gas nozzles on the end. As the missile began to approch the overfly path, it cut it's engines, still coasting through the air on the momentum it had generated. The nozzles began to hiss, spraying a transparant gas into the air behind and infront of it. Though it had not reached its target yet, if anyone fired at the missile now they would get a very hot backwash.

The Crew aboard the Batov were surprised over the missile streaking overhead. The Captain picked up the mike and ordered all ships to, "Fire the Guardian Laser AMS at once! Take down that missile!"

The ships did as told, and began to track the missile with high-energy laser fire. The sky lit up like the Fourth of July.

OOC: We are set around 2000-2010, and we have a high-tech infrastructure, so we do have Practical Laser AMS cannons.

As the laser fire streemed throught the path of the missile, the crew of the Bartov got a firework display like none before. As the main missile exploded the barrals broke off and tumbled towards the ship, still spraying the nightlight into the air. The lases contineued firing and as they did so, they ignited the nightlight in the falling barrals. Each of the barrals exploded, creating a firestorm engulfing Bartov. The nightlight already in the air too ignited and a streem of flame ignited in the sky. The Bartov was being scorched alive.

Amphibious ships transported the Hellenic Army across a very short distant to Turkey where Upper Xen has secured a landing area. While the ships unloaded General Olympia decided to find who is in charge of the Upper Xen Army. Having took Chinese lessons when she was a young girl Olympia had no problem communicating with the Upper Xen soldiers.

"I would like to speak with the person in charge of the Upper Xen army."

Meanwhile, the Koreans (shifted from Anatalya on the request of one Kim Syil Hun), the Nevskys, and the Lucky 13's began to move to Istanbul. Taking positions south of the city, they began to shell the city and make siege lines.

The Airmobile Cavalry unit not in Anatalya, meanwhile, raced to secure a pipeline junction at Gursu, outside of Bursa. Their Comanches made quick work of any opposition and their Ospreys soon brought the troops to Gursu, claiming it and that section for Upper Xen.

In the East, units of SOG, fresh from saving the Risbanian Emperor, were remobilzed and flying towards Lake Van.

Several Armored Cavalry Divisions had been mobilized, they had the new T-4 tank. This would be its first test in combat. Elements of the Transport Units flew to Xinjiang to pick them up and fly them back to Anatalya. They would be escorted for part of the way by Marine Fighters.

The Battle for Constantinople (Part 2 of The Megali Idea)

Amphibious landings were happening all over the Turkish coast. A 24 hour bombardment was ordered by General Olympia to be carried out by Admiral Stuckov on the Turkish coast. This is one of the largest invasions ever to be recorded in Greek history. Millions of Greek soldiers consumed the coast as the slaughtering of the Turkish militia and army continued. As this was happening another soon to be bloody battle was getting ready to start. The Euroslavic fleet was to blockade Constantinople and intercept all Turkish ships.

Artilleries where lined up and have started bombing the city and bombers lift off the Greco Class Carriers and began dropping bombs on buildings leaving nothing in there path. The Turkish forces where staying in the city hoping to ambush the Greek forces and push them out. General Olympia at the front gave out the orders to attack and thousands of soldiers where running into the city opening fire on the Turkish soldiers. Tanks rolled down the streets giving firepower to the Hoplites but they still meet resistance. Turkish soldiers unexpectedly came out of a building carrying a RPG-7s and fired on tanks. General Olympia and the rest of her Generals where fighting alongside the Hoplites too. In the streets pools of blood where being made as the slaughtering continued. Dead bodies toppled one on top of the other forming small walls. The Turkish forces desperately used anything to barricade streets to be used for protection and defense but the tanks knocked them down with there immense firepower. After a few hours of battle the Turkish forces where defeated and the Greek flag was raised at the center of the city. Soldiers cheered with happiness as they captured back one of the holiest cities in the world, Constantinople.

But battles still raged on in the rest of Turkey as both sides suffered major loses.

Throughout the Empire, the great call to arms was going up. From the alabaster streets of mighty Port Belgrade, to the white obelisks of Greater Kiev, the Imperial armies were assembling. A total of two million of the Empire’s soldiers had been called, and were mobilizing, 500,000 of them Praetorian Guardsmen. They would board the great transports of the Imperial Black Sea assault fleets, and thus begin their voyage to the killing fields in ruined turkey. The Battle of Istanbul was crying to the shores of Generia, and the Imperial sabers would be quick to answer.

The flare fighters began their assult run over the landing zone of the Xenian milliary. The first priority was to disable the landing craft.

The leader of the first Flare fighter squadron broke off from the over flying section and flew head on towards the first ship he could find. He released his missile and it flew straight for the main ship. This missile however would not detonate its primary load on impact. The missile hit the outer hull and slammed its way into the inner workings of the ship. As it did so, it began spraying the nightlight inside the ship.

"This is Arachnoid leader, engaging ignition run" the leader of the second flare fighter squadron called

Arachnoid one did as instructed, he broke off from the formation and fired the ignition flare into the already damaged ship. Instantly it light up and exploded in fire from the inside out.

The General Batov exploded in a flash of flame. The flames were visible from the shores of Cyprus.

Meanwhile, the other ships awoke, and they began to fire their Super Crotales at the fleeing plane.

The troops soon that were assigned to raid Constantinople soon turned their attention inward to Turkey. They began to march further inward, dislodging Turkish troops and inexorably marching to Ankara.

The First Euroslavic Fleet made its move onto the Southern Turkish coast with little resistance, due to the coordinated attacks by Upper Xen and Nikolaos the Great. All the Fleet had to do was escort the Euroslavic troops to the Southern border of Turkey, and the main invasion would begin. It is expected that a larger resistance will be met here, than what other nations have met, however, not as large as the resistance in Ankara.

The amount of troops that were involved in the Euroslavic invasion of Turkey was 80,000. Soon, waves of troops would be launched, starting with 20,000 troops to secure the position, while another 30,000 would reinforce, and the 30,000 remaining troops would advance our position in Turkey.

Vertigo squadron did as advised, all six pulling off the sea level and rapidly gaining height. Arachnoid squadron however were not so lucky. Arachnoid 3 and 2 were caught by fire fron the Xeninan fleet. 3 Exploded in mid air, but 2 with the last ounce of force, aimed itself for a kamakazie run on the nearest. Its canister of nightlight spliting and spraying everywhere. Combined with the explosion, the flames blasted both Arachnoid 2 and the ship. The remaining members of Vertigo and Arachnoid squadron moved off and around to head for the Euroslavic fleet.

Tripoli Manning of Tres Bonne and the United Nations of Serafima will order an army to help in this dispute if needed.

Now that Constantinople was retaken Greek forces began amphibious landings on mainland Turkey. They began to fight there way toward the capital city Ankara while securing strategic locations. The cities of Manisa and Izmir have already fallen to the Greek forces on the Turkish coast.

Nothing could stop the invasion forces of Upper Xen, Euroslavia and Greece. Neo Cannen was not a threat but a potential threat did lie on the other side of the Medetereanean Sea which was Sevaris. On the Greco Class carrier 80 fighters began to depart to attack the Neo Cannen fighters.

"Fire" said Sahara one. Instantly both Sahara and Hornet 1 fired two missiles each, heading straight for the group of fighters

"Shit! The other fights have scattered. There are two incoming missiles. If this is the way they want to fight then that’s how we will fight."

The 80 fighters scattered across the sky. Two fighters managed to get the two Neo Cannen fighters, still on course, on target. They both launched two missiles but they still kept the two enemy fights on target.

While at the location of the Greco Class carrier the Admiral ordered more fighters to be send out. A total of 70 fighters left which emptied out the carrier.

The four missiles on their way down, flew past the two engaging planes. Instead they turned towards the group of seventy now on their way up. Then they detonated in mid air, the first releasing an EMP burst over the planes, the second jamming all comminications with a continuous distortion loop broadcast over all channels. Meanwhile Sahara and Hornet 1 fired flares at the two oncoming missiles which destroyed them. They flew on down extremely low to the surface of the sea, exactly as the flare fighters had been designed to do. The other 20 did the same, flying as low as possible but all now converging on Istanbull.

Tripoli leapt into her plane, which part of a fleet of 1,000.

The 70 fighter's electronics got jammed. Since they where close to main land Turkey the pilots tried to glide there planes on there air to land. 55 of the fighters where able to do land safely but the rest crashed on land or on the sea.

The 80 other fighters where pulled back and where sent right after the Neo Cannen fighters that where heading for Constantinople.

The flare fighters were being persued more and more vigerously by the Greek planes. Fortunetly they had been trained for this. Each droped several depth charges into the water, detonating them and engulfing the planes in explosisons and jets of water. The flare fighters continued towards Istanbull.

Meanwhile, as the Battle of Istanbul was occuring, one of the Xenizen ships was in drydock. It had been bad for the Xenizen fleet. One ship dead, another in critical condition. Also, more reinforcements were coming, but now, everybody was just a bit more nervous.......

The SOG troops soon found their mark at around Van. Paradropping, they soon landed at the oil fields. After a six hour whirlwind firefight, the SOG troops, numbering about 150 in all, defeated an impressive 10,000 man Turkish force. The fighting was underway, one of the fields had been taken, the rest would fall some time.

Meanwhile, the Xenizen forces in Anatlaya were reinforced by the 45th and 36th Armored Cavalry Divisions, and other infantry units. Armed with the new T-4 tank, they began a major offensive north, penetrating into Turkish territory.

The Airmobile Divisions and the Koreans continued their violent march east, leaving a swathe of ruined M48 tanks in their wake. They would meet the Xenizen troops from Anatalya.

And, in a much needed respite, air squadrons were deployed to the area, and so were more Super Crotales. There would not be another Nightlighter's Spree.

The Cottish government has followed this conflict closely, since we have a colony in the area (NE Egypt) which is a large source of income for Cotland (the Suez Canal). Therefore, Cotland hereby issues the following warning to all ships and airplanes in the Eastern Med:

-Any military vessel or airplane entering Cottish airspace or waters (international 20 nautical mile border) will be intercepted and escorted out of Cottish territory immediately.

-All ships entering Cottish waters will be boarded by the Coast Guard and inspected for any sign of arms or other military equpment.

-Any foreign ship or plane carrying military equipment taken a prize by the Cottish military and the crew arrested. The ship/airplane will be destroyed if it cannot be used by Cotland, or resistance is met.

-Any ship or airplane refusing to be boarded or escorted to international waters will be sunk/shot down immediately.

-Any aggresion against Cotland will be retaliated swiftly and harshly (read: immediate destruction!). It will also be looked upon as a Casus Belli and war will be declared between the nation showing aggression and Cotland.

How big are these aircraft? The more you describe them the more of a godmode they are.

IC: Notquiteaplace is withdrawing it's spear fleet from the zone temporarily. It will move to the atlantic where it will meet our third defence fleet as well as our second attack fleet and a large number of logistics ships. Only a few of our troops are being prepared for any action at the moment.

We are not acting until the word of the TBA is heard on this, but your planned oppression of the turks and this act of aggression are both contrary to our alliance's principles.

OOC: We obviously can't both agree on the same stuff. So how about you leave this RP?

OOC: flares are pretty hot and sitract the missile. They drop a huge load and so the missile must pick between all these hot objects and the engine. It's a tough choice for something that cant just look and use common sense. If you use Iradar missiles chaff has a simular net effect but works via distorting the image.

Of course he disagrees, he's opposing you.

Rather than bombarding its possible you couls use psychological war and some intimidation, perhaps a few precision strikes and have Turkey merge with you. Provided you dont kill or opress anyone you may actually not be in opposition to the TBA.

In the air over the massive joint fleet, the seven active squadrons of GIF-101 interceptors rapidly changed course for the detected incoming squadrons, still a good distance from the forerunning Imperial vessels.

Each of the 77 Imperial aircraft picked a target, and unleashed hell. 308 Generian 'Hammer' anti-aircraft missiles rocketed forward towards the rapidly approaching NC attack aircraft.

The Greek forces where approaching the capital of Turkey, Ankara while swallowing up everything in there path. They left no Turkish soldier alive.

The Lucky 13's, having honed their skills on the weak Turkish Army, turned to Ankara. There, the main facilities and HQ of XPC existed, and were under Turkish control.

The Lucky 13's recieved the order to fire warning shots at the city. Nothing special. Just scare em a little....

They had at the front of them sea skimmers, allowing them to bounce on the sea's surface and continue in their path. They both struck the Alexei on the side of the hull, burrying themselves well inside. They did not detonate however, but instead began the task of lacing the air inside the ship and around it with nightlight.

A few moments later, Galaxy six broke formation and came in for a direct run on the Alexei. "Firing ignition flares" and a blizzard of flares flew across the sea. They ignited the nightlight inside the Alexei, creating a huge fireball of an explosion, consuming the ship from the inside out.

OOC: Neo-Cannen- what fleets am I going to be sailing towards, how many ships do you have? I need specifics.

The South China Sea Fleet, under Admiral Kerensky, sailed to meet the Neo-Cannen threat.

In case the Neo-Cannen forces wanted to do any dirty tricks, they had Super Crotales, Guardian LAMS defenses, and Super Harpoons ready to meet them.

Also, the F-35's had a special Christmas gift for them: Tien'Long EM missiles, programmed to deal death at long ranges of up to 160km.

OOC For security reasons we cant detail nightlight exactly but suffice to say it is a chemical which when compressesed and sprayed into the air is extremely volitile and causes massive ammounts of flames. And plus there is the EMP beam and the flares. While they would not be 100% sucessful, they would work well enough to let 3 fighters through.

Emperor Nikolaos has meet with General Olympia and his son Atticus and where discussing the current situation. There are 1,000 dead and 1,900 wounded which are currently being transported back to Greece for medical attention. Meanwhile, as Christmas went on, the General Batov was clinging to life in a Nicosia shipyard. She was crippled, thaking on massive amounts of water and hanging on by a few girders. Her outer hull was torched, a good portion of her crew dead. A tugboat team and the inventiveness of her captain had gotten her to port....

Now......as Cypriot and Xenizen workers worked furiously to rebuild the Batov, many feared this was nigh near impossible. Still, a job was a job....

Gordon Lew's Boeing Business Jet flew into Central Harmonia Airport. After taxing to a stop and moving to a secure hangar, where Ms. Manning was waiting, the plane stopped and Gordon got out, escorted by Jimmy Chang, his elite bodyguard.

He walked up to Ms. Manning, and said, "Good day, ma'am."

'Hello Mr. Lew' she said, leaning forward and giving the complimentary and kiss on each cheek.

Gordon, surprised at this, went, "Sure. C'mon, Jimmy."

Jimmy followed Gordon as he, in turn, followed Ms. Manning into the car that would take them to the government building.

the cars took them to the government building, she lead Gordon to her office.

Gordon went, "So anyway, let's get down to business.....I am not eager for war with Serafima, and I guess you are not eager for war with Upper Xen. Basically, we ask that our oil concessions in Turkey be unmolested by your troops."

'we will not damage your rights to the oil, we are only helping Neo Cannen from the air' Tripoli said, lighting her cigarette.

"Yes....so, does that mean that we will not harm each other's forces?" Gordon said.

'my air guys will leave your troops alone, but we will attack the others' she said, her face masked by a swirling mist of smoke from her freshly lit cigarette, she slipped the lighter back down her front.

Gordon continued, "I take it this means that the airspace above our concessions will not be violated, right?"

'sorry, I dont understand, concessions?' Tripoli asked, leaning forward closer to Gordon.

'Oh right, well if the marine blockade is near your concession base then yes, our main objective is to attack the Euroslav blockade via air not by sea or land' Tripoli said sharply, her russian accent so irresistable.
