OOC: Anything wrong, TG me or post it here. This is my first storefront post, so it might be missing some information. Or some may be incorrect or unrealistic.

IC:
The Concordiat Army issued a statement today that it would begin sales of it's newest HBT. This Heavy Breakthrough Tank is relatively useless in large mobile battles, it is designed to break fortified, immobile lines, similar to those in WWI.

Guderian III HBT Data:
Speed: 17mph roads, 12mph cross-country.
Armor: 16 inches, sloped at 38 degrees.
Armament: 3x .50 Cal. MG 89 machine guns, 1x 57mm Pak 72 low-velocity cannon, 2x 140mm high-velocity K-48 Antiarmor cannon.
Height:16.4 feet
Length: 27.6 feet
Width: 18.7 feet
Weight: 102 tons
Powerplant: Maybach-Dylan Cyclic 16-cylinder Ceramic Diesel

Additional Equipement:
Gun stabilizer
Thermal Imaging Equipment
Mark Six targeting optical units
3 feet by 3 feet Storage cabinets
Internal rifle/gun rack, located in turret, right side

Optional Additions:
Replace .50 Cal. MGs with 20mm Cannons, +$2,200
Add explosive-reactive armor, +$23,000
Improved Suspension, +$1,200
NBC defense systems, +$44,000
Laser rangefinder, +$37,000

Each basic Guderian III unit is $1,300,000.00. Best results when used with Zukhov medium tanks. These tanks are built to be heavy, not fast, but provisions can be negotiated for the recently-designed Zukhov IV Medium Exploitation Tank to come on sale. There is also a Montgomery HAPC.

How do they handle a 90mm linear cannon shot to the front slope?

The price seems a too low, by a lot.

They are built with basic components. The $1,300,000 is just steel, guns, engine, and treads. The rest of the good equipment costs more.

What's the muzzle velocity of the 9cm cannon? If its higher than 2567 m/s, then it will be able to penetrate the armor. (assuiming its not shaped-charge or something)

Where does it say how much it costs?

About 8 km/sec.

edit: Explanation folows.

A linear gun is a weapon which, like a railgun, uses electromagnetic forces rather than gunpowder to fire its projectiles. However, the conductive projectiles fired from a linear gun don't come into physical contact with the firing mechanism, and are instead accelerated using attractive and repulsive magnetic forces, as in a so-called magnetic levitation (maglev) train. Although the acceleration produced is relatively small compared to that of a railgun, a linear gun can yield similar muzzle velocities if its barrel is long enough, and the lack of physical contact eliminates friction heat and wear on the barrel.

Wow that tech is beyond our ability to compensate for, none the less emulate! A railgun...hmm...could you use the magnets to cause nuclear fusion?

Concordiat scientists have a certain "dream-gun" for an armored vehicle...

I wish to purchase 20,000 basic Guderian III units for a total of $26,000,000,000. 10,000 of them will be mine, the other 10,000 are a gift for my ally, Pacitalia, who is in the middle of a conflict right now. Please send them to him via this link: http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=7741593&posted=1#post7741593

Money will be wired upon confirmation. Thanks!
