Hong Kong, (XNS)- Today, President Lew has announced that the annual Christmas Parade in Hong Kong will solely feature appearances by the Hong Kong Capital Division, the 78th Infantry Division "Alexander Nevsky," the 2nd Korean Auxiliaries Division "Korean Tigers," the 25th Armored Cavalry Division, the 5th Airmobile Cavalry Division, 1st Battalion of the Tokyo Capital Division, the 1405th Vortiguant Division and a flight of B-70mk1 bombers and F-16UXmk1 fighters to "show the world that Upper Xen has the capacity and the technology to defend liberty and the rights of man."

The event will feature the newly developed PMR-1 Headcrab Rocket, the newly developed T-4 MBT, developed in conjunction with the Committee of Vigilance, and various Xenizen weapons such as the Superdragon MRLS, a locally made and upgraded version of the Valkiri MRLS with extra range, enhanced targeting and more explosive power, and the Super Crotale SAM, an upgrade of the Crotale that grants it more distance, speed, turning and accuracy, thanks to newly integrated camera-based targeting systems. Also, new upgrades of the venerable G6 and G5 artillery pieces will be unveiled as well.

The nation of Kyanges is expected to join the event, and foreign observers are welcome. Special guests will include the President, Kim Syil Hun, who dueled with Simon Rutledge, and Archbishop Grigori Batov of the Russian Orthodox Church of Upper Xen.

There will also be general celebrations, and the day has been made a legal holiday.

Hundreds of civilians are leaving Green Sun to see this spectacular event at Upper Xen. In fact, Green Sun's goverment is doing everything it can to evacuate all citizens from Green Sun while it fights black Sun.

Statement from the Department of Defense:

"At this point in time, the Imperium wishes to express its interest in the Xenizen event. If it is permitted, Tyrandis would like to use two Galaxyhawk UAVs to survey the parade."

"The nation of Tyradnis has clearance to send UAV's. We wil accept any refugees from Green Sun, as well."

Meanwhile, Kenneth Yueng-Nakamura and President Lew met to discuss the parade.

Ken said, "So.....we've got people from Green Sun coming to visit?"

"Yup. This parade is going to be big. You get to hawk your wares, and show off Santa Claus, and we get to show the world, especially DA, that we are a capable power."

Ken went, "Okay, but my shareholders, especially practicing Christians, are offended-they think you're subverting Christmas with a violent message of hate, not peace."

Gordon went, "Will you relax? I'm a Baptist, and I don't see a problem. You run the Sakura Department Stores, its your call. Screw the stockholders."

Ken went, "Okay dude, anyway, I've no problem with it."

Meanwhile, the mentioned troops began to prepare their dress uniforms, and the speakers began to recite their speeches in practice jam sessions, making corrections and generally getting ready.

"Ladies and Gentlemen of the World. Upper Xen is ready to celebrate a holiday tradition, starting with the birth of Christ. We parade to celebrate and rejoice in this day of happiness and renewal. We come to celebrate peace, and caring."

"We also come to celebrate peace through power. We parade our forces in front of you now, as a demonstration of what we have to offer to any nation that opposes us. We now present an array of our finest machines, built by the brightest minds in Upper Xen. We present our finest sodliers. We present our nation, and its strength, for all to see."

"Now, I have the honor of handing he podium to my friend, the Honorable Archbishop Grigori Batov, of Harbin."

(Applause, Batov takes the stage and speaks)

"My brothers, this is a momentous day. Today, we show the forces of evil, and the Antichrists of the World, that we are capable of defending ourselves and preserving our faith. I bless this procession, and pray that these machines of war will be used by the forces of good. God is with us, and God is with all who love life, liberty and property, whether they acknolwdege his existence or not. I do not wish to take up the time, so I will turn to my good colleague, Dr. Keisuke Fujikawa of Etajima, Japan."

(Applause, Dr. Fujikawa comes onstage)

"Hello. The machines you are about to see today is the T-4, my newest brainchild, and the PMR-1, the infamous Headcrab Bomb that everybody has been talking about. When I built thse machines, I thought of preserving liberty. I also thought of certain warmongers from the North American continent, and nearby in the North Atlantic."

"They feel that their legions of brainwashed killing machines can defeat us. They feel they have the technological advantage, with their supertanks and their body armor. But our new T-4 and our Headcrab Bomb have given us the power to supercede these fools. Our new technologies, like our lasers, our new missiles, will overcome any warmonger that dares to lay a hand on us. Their legions of supermen will be turned into Headcrab food, and their tanks rendered into scrap metal, and their missiles rendered into motlen slag."

"Now, as we fight for freedom, I would like to quote Eisenstein's Aleksandr Nevski: 'Those who come with a sword to us will die from that sword!'"

(Applause)

"Now, I am sorry, but Kim Syil Hun is sick, and cannot come. But she does say, and I quote, 'that she met the enemy. They are men, like us. They are demons and superbeings, they only seem so because they have the technology. We can defeat them. We can win.'"

"Instead, I welcome the main man himself, Santa Claus!"

(Applause, a man in a Santa suit comes up)

"Ho Ho Ho! I say, let this parade begin!"

(Santa copmes down, and leaps onto an ornate float with his sliegh on it.)

Leang soon began to speak: "And they're off! Santa is coming down Freeman (RL Victoria) Avenue! And he is passing out candy to the children, they are loving it!"

"And now here comes the Capital Division, marching neatly in rows, and showing off their port arms with OICW rifles. They are passing by the President, who is reviewing them......it is quite a sight to see 25,000 armed men in green coats marching down Freeman Avenue."

"Now the Capital Division has passed, here comes....a flight of F-16UXmk1's! They are flying in formation, and that formation says 'Merry Christmas.' What a sight."

"Now, here comes the Aleksandr Nevski Reserve Division, they are looking great in their Russian inspired uniforms and peaked caps. Their leader, General Beniamin Yarolslavich Stoyanovich, is going down the street on a stallion, waving to the crowd, and throwing candy to the children, generally being a good sport. The crowd is going wild...."

"The Nevski's have passed, now we go to commercial break on this fantastic 25th Annual Christmas Parade, sponsored by Dilao Soap, and Voroshilov Energy Company."

"A bit primitive, but all in all not bad." The People's Republic of MassPwnage's journalists were scattered in nearby hotels and skyscrapers, all with high powered videocameras. They recorded the parade from every angle, some of lizardmen and hybrids hopping from building to building, window to window, rooftop to rooftop.

One of the lizardmen missed a fall from a high rise window several hundred feet above. He fell rapidly towards the Earth, then landed in front of the Capital Division, feet first. His 9 feet, 9 inches, 921 pounds of scaled flesh drove his taloned feet a full yard into the earth and threw up chunks of ashphalt. The lizardman hopped out of the tarmac and grinned sheepishly.

"Er... sorry?"

ooc: He would have made the jump had it not been 58 degrees. Lizardmen get stronger as it gets warmer (blame cold bloodedness).

OOC: The particle flash comes at Kyanges' request.....enjoy.

Some paramedics came to check on the lizardman. "You okay, sir?"

The paramedics got him cleaned up, and he soon was escorted to the side as a line of six PMR-1's began to move down the street.

"Wow, that was odd.....folks I am getting word that one of the MassPwnage pressmen has fallen off a skyscraper.........this is bad."

"Wait! He is fine, I have gotten word the paramedics have gotten to him and now he is currently being escorted off of the street..now here is one of the main stars of the show...the PMR-1 Parasite Rocket, known locally as the Headcrab Bomb."

"Well, everybody, ain't that....HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!"

(A brilliant white flash comes on the screen, and then subsides)

"Well, then, I don't know what just happened, but a brilliant white flash has come over the city, and the people are reacting in numerous ways.....wait...I have gotten word that this was a particle flash from the nation of Kyanges. They apparently wish to demonstrate their solidarity with us today, and give us a good show."

"Let's give them a hand."

The journalist was fine, and best of all, his videocamera had been running and was intact all throughout the path of his fall.

The representatives shrugged. The particle flash was well... bizzare. Oh well, their festivities.

"Anyway, we are continuing the festivities, here is the Koreans! It looks like Kim Syil Hun is well enough to visit....she's got a cast on her chest, and a sling, but apparently her doctors have said she is fit to ride in a Casspir APC. She is waving to the crowd, pumping her fist in the air, and the crowd is going wild. Apparently, she is a celebrity for having faced down famous pistol duelist Simon Rutledge of Mississippi, and lived....an incredible achievement. The Korean Color Guard behind her doing a traditional dance, waving flags..."

"Here comes the bulk of the 3rd, they are marching in step, and look ready to kick some butt. Their band is playing a song.....it seems to be the Washington Post March, by Sousa. Indeed, now as we look, the people are cheering, and street vendors are selling ice cream and food.....and balloons, which many children seem to be releasing....this is indeed a good day."

Alan Danielson and Jamie Waters, the reporters sent from the FCDNN (FCD News Network) to coordinate the broadcast were standing on top of a skyscraper, making sure every last piece of the action got on tape.

"Camera three, keep on the crowds, good. Yes.", Jamie instructed, and slid his cellular phone in the pocket. "Looking good. The crew at him will love this, children with balloons, lizardmen falling off high buildings, lots of men with big guns, wierd flashes. What more could you ask for?"

"I don't think that flash will look very good on tape...", Alan retorted, lighting a cigarette. "What was that anyway?"

"Not too sure. Looked nice enough, I suppose."

Jamie again picked up his phone and called the cameracrews, ensuring the best coverage possible for the folks back home.

"Okay folks, now, we are seeing a flight of B-52's, apparently, of the newly made Iron Dragon class....they are flying over, and dropping candy and Crhistmas trinkets to the crowd. The people are loving it. This has been quite a day with lizardmen falling, particle flashes, and balloons......."

"Now, we see a procession of T-4 tanks and Super Crotale SAM's mounted on Trucks and SISU XA-180 APC's.....these are the newly made local version of the Crotale, and I have word they are reputed to have advanced visual guidance systems and enhanced engines and aerodynamic stylings to enhance their performance."

"These T-4's are simply amazing......they have newly made Wakazashi LAMS systems, and they sport newly made targeting systems for maximum performance.....they look impressive, in their 4x4 rows......a marvel of engineering. And they are being escorted by employees of Mitsubishi and National Armscorp, wearing t-shirts that bear the motto of the project, 'Service. Loyalty. Victory.'"

"Now, we are heading into the final stretch......T-4's are still moving, and we just finished up the Super Crotale SAM train......now, we have the 1st Battalion of the Tokyo Capital Division, and the Vortiguant Divisions, they are marching, and the Borderworlders in the crowd are going wild. The Tokyo Capital Division even has a special float for us...it is a giant panoply of Japanese history, and a coreographed samurai duel, intriguing, this is good....."

"Now, they have passed, and now, we are being greeted by a flight of B-70mk1's, zooming overhead. The crowd is amazed......these machines, able to go mach 3 at high altitudes, are an acheivement to behold."

"Now, we go to the Superdragon MRLS brigades, they are driving slowly, they are being escorted by the Chinese University of Hong Kong's Marching Band playing 'Louie Louie.' Look at those things...they may look like trucks with big breadboxes at the back, but these babies are packed to the gills with firepower."

"Now, here are the G6 and G5 cannons, the G5's being towed by trucks. This is impressive, and behind them, apparently, is the Tokyo University Glee Club, singing Christmas tunes, and wearing Santa suits."

"Truly, a feast for the eyes..."

"Now, here comes the big finish! A group of F-22's, flying in formation......their formations are revaling a star, they are flying int the sky...."

"Wait....what is this? They are wiggling their wings, and-"
