Ixtar City, What few political freedoms remained in Ixtar have now all but vanish. Before today, a small left wing opposition party (The Green Socialist Party) to which 300,000 Ixtarians belong to, held a few seats in the Ixtarian Congress; today, however, this is no more. The leadership of the party, as well as some high ranking military officers have been arrested. The exact number arrested, as stated by the Ixtar government, stands at 5,000 people, however, this number is believed to be much higher......

Ixtar City. Once thought to only include political leadership of the Socialist party, and high ranking military affiliations, arrests have spread to the civilian population only a few days ago. Much of the 250,000 strong Ixtar Army have been redeployed to keep order with the local police all around Ixtar. The government has confirmed that executions will commence tomorrow for the leadership of the party as well as the military officials "in bed" with the Socialists.
