((OOC: Just so you know, Black Sun is NOT an official nation. They're basicly a copy of Green Sun from another dimension who got really pissed when three of their men were killed while helping Green Sun. They were infected with the Plague and were charged with bioterrorism.))
Today at 12:30 PM:
Hundreds of Black Sun soldier poured out of it navy onto Green Sun's coast. Green Sun's Fire Base program, created during the Xeraph-Jabur war, was put into action. The long-range cannons destroyed numerous naval units, but they still landed. Over Risban's skies during their civil war Green Sun engaged Black Sun's Air Force. Green Sun's limited Navy attacked the much-larger Black Sun navy, and is currently on retreat to defend Green Sun waters. Ishmael Kort, the Major General of all Green Sun Armed Forces, has been captured after a bloody battle. His werabouts are unknown.
Green Sun scientists have found that Black Sun is using some sort of device that allows them to travel from Black Sun's dimension to our own. Green Sun is asking for any help in fighting Black Sun's immense Navy and capturing or creating this dimensional portal-making device so we can finally stop this menace.

Our SeeD rank A forces have experience dealing with this kind of situation. If we can agree to a contract, we'll gladly aid you put an end to the Black Sun incursions.

What contract are you proposing?

OOC: Not sure you saw my post from a while back, so allow me to clarify you. SeeD are mercenary forces skilled in weapons mastery, para-magic and combat casting. And... that's just about it ;) .

IC: For this one, we'd propose a strike force of 150 men, equiped with varied weapon types. We'd go to their nation, disable their dimension-travelling abilities, and use our own technology to bring them back. For this, we propose a sum of $100.000.000. It may seem a lot, but we're sending our elite on a very dangerous mission.

More dangerous than you'd think. General Yillik trained Green Sun's best Special Operations team himself since they were young teenagers. Black Sun killed all of them and destroyed their Humvees. Black Sun is very powerful, so a direct attack on them at this point would be suicide. Green Sun needs help with the Naval battles.

Hmmm... For that, we'd have to ask you permission to cast Leviathan near your shores. The GF would attempt to sink the enemy ships by means of a freak wave. You'd have to create a distraction for us until we find the spot where you wouldn't be damaged as well, though.

OOC: Erm... I'm not sure if your current size/ economy can support that large a force, Ixtar.

Alright. Permission granted.

Green Sun ordered an airstrike on all the Black Sun Naval Forces well behind Enemy lines. They sunk 3 ships, a cruiser, a carrier, and a submarine today at 2:00. Realizing that Green Sun's fleet was stationed at an island, they headed to the Green Island Naval Base. There are 3 million civilians on its southern shore, but it is protected by the Navy.

We caught them about 100 miles from your coast. Our caster managed to summon Leviathan before the armoured drop vessel he was in gave in to the attacks. The GF, in his favoured element, had his power increased manyfold, and his freak wave sank half the enemy navy, and left the other half critically damaged. Submarines might have not been affected, depending on the depth they were at. Be careful of possible tsunamis as a consequence from the casting. In other words, get your people out of the shores.

All civilians have been sent to inland cities already. Some have even taken refuge in the Rain Forests.

OOC: I'll be back in about two hours.

IC: Save the submarines, the Black Sun threat has been neutralized for the moment. We'd like to procede with our first plan. Don't worry, my men have been trained almost since they were five. When they were teens, they applied for SeeDship. And they've became adults, rank A, the finest of all. They'll have no trouble infiltrating the enemy bases and sabotaging its dimension travelling mechanisms.

I have sent in a regiment of Zealot II tanks to help you. Also I have sent several starships to aid you (Vostok Class Destroyers and October Class Firgates.)

Suddenly hundreds more naval units appeared into the waters.
"Shit...Tehy brought in reinforcements..." remarked General Tzung Tao, "Nobody can compete with that. Hold on...Maybe we don't have to..."
Tao spoke into his radio,
"Mr. President, we've got a HUGE problem. We're gonna need some help. Do you think NTG would use its nukes against BS's fleet?"
"We're not radiating our waters!"
"What else can we do?"
"Hmm...The spell did a huge number but the way I see it they have a bigger fleet than we can think of and can send them faster than we can sink them."
Suddenly Miranda walked into the room. Her belly was quite large. Her baby was due in another two weeks.
"Earnest, the Head of Scientific research just found something with the new Laser Rifles. He's found a way to mass-produce them."
"That's good news, but what about the naval war? Can they do anything against that?"
"No, but we can get the rifles to all our infantry by next month."

Friends in Green Sun... As you know, the SeeD that summoned Leviathan died shortly after casting the spell. If we're to attempt a second casting of the spell, recovery of the corpse, where the GF's essence is stored, is in order. For that, we ask a diversion so that one of our submarines equiped for the task may pick up the corpse.

Meanwhile, we can send the remaining SeeD to any point where you might need infantry.

Ten Risban Type 23 (http://www.royalnavy.mod.uk/static/pages/data/gallery/full/1005835991f.jpg) Imperial Frigates approached the coast of Green Sun, along with one Albion Class (http://www.royalnavy.mod.uk/static/pages/data/gallery/full/1050500404f.jpg) Assault Ship, the RIS Interference, which was the acting flagship. There was also a small transport, holding a meager 500 trained soldiers. This was the small Risban Imperial Second Fleet. Admiral Kenneth MacSimon led this fleet. He sent a message to Green Sun command.

No thank-yous are neccessary. We had suspected Black Sun was in your borders from the moment we heard of your civil war. In fact, I'm almost tempted to ask you not to send your navy as you have bigger problems at home, both with Black Sun and rebels and you need them more than we.

To Banhania:
Please send 500 to civilian areas to keep the peace and send the other 500 to aid Risban in its time of need.

Green Sun submarines and naval units are searching underwater for any and all Black Sun subs and protecting all submarines from FFH, as they have been, even though we are on teh defensive at this time. If anybody has any very large weapons of mass destruction that produces no biological or radiological side effects, I ask you to use them on Black Sun naval units.

"Sir! We have several targets incoming from space!" an officer shouted.
"Are you serious? Dammit!" Earnest shouted. He looked at the screen to see it was true. Black Sun was deploying Space Shock troops.
"This has turned from a Naval war to a ground war. All fire bases, destroy those pods!"

As President Truman was getting ready to send many men into battle, he decided to bring up what he had in "stock." (meaning ships)

So far our overhaul has included 50 new ships.

"Tig, i need you to steam at top speed to the coast of Green Sun. Expect heavy resistance as you arrive at GS' coast.(the ships will arrive either later tonight, or tomorrow afternoon). Good Luck Cap

"Thank you sir, all ships ahead full, Tig out." said Tig

"Um....Truman our comms with GS has relayed incomming dropships(?)" said Sam (secretary)

"Damnit, what the hell is going on here, we haven't even got a spaceship, let alone a astronaut. Send in the mobile Infantry divison. They will arrive via airdrop wherever you request them. Ill patch you through to the pilots now GS.

"Green Sun, this is stryker (i know its spelled wrong) we are approximately 4 hours away from your airspace. Is there a specfic route that could lead us into your nation safely?....Static....Repeat we require assistance on establishing a new heading....Static....[end transmission]

The Black Sun admiral who was in charge with the assault smirked at teh immense size of the fleet at his command. This was but an eigth of Black Sun's Navy, not even, since they were still arriving. The tsunami was a mere bloody nose in his eyes. The General leading the gorund assault was failing, though. He would suffer for his incompetence. He watched as a dozen more ships appeared from the void. He ordered more Jets to Risban. The General who had captured their emperor would either succeed or die with the Emperor. And he knew that.

The SeeD commander was growing short in temper. "You!" he pointed at a nearby Green Sun soldier. "This has dragged on more than I wanted! Get me the Garden!" He grabbed the guy's mobile phone, and phoned Balamb. "Situation is sinking rapidly. We require additional fleet units."

Within a few hours, several Battleships left New Balamb's shores, and arrived at Green Sun. What they lacked in size and firepower, they made up for speed. "We'll send a few computer-controlled ships as decoy, and ram our own into their hulls. After that, we take control of their flagship and turn them against each other." He told his men.

The 50 SeeD Armoured Ships left the shores, and into the Black Sun navy. 15 were empty, being controlled from the base. The others were filled with 8 SeeD each. Enough to capture a ship. As they reached their foes, the decoy ships fired their KEMs at the foes, aiming at their weapons and disabling a few. When they were sank, the real ships were close enough for the SeeD, casting the Float spell, to climb into the enemy decks. 2 Dreadnoughts and 4 Frigates were invaded. About 7 of the occupied ships were sank before completing the mission. Flagship where the admiral was was occupied as well. Fighting ensued between the SeeD and the crew...

As the SeeD SpecOps boarded the ship, the Admiral readied his Gauss Rifle. Spellcasters. He's encountered them before. One enemy soldier ran in, but had a hole the size of a cow's head put in him.
"You're not the only one who knows spells!" he shouted. He casted a Protection spell, a mighty powerful one at that.
"Black Sun has been around since 5,000 BC! You'll never be able to defeat us!" he shouted.

Squornshelous offers support from its space fleet for Green Sun. We can send 10 gunships and 2 cruisers at this time which will make short work of any enemy naval units. These vessels will be diverted from their station in geosynchronous orbit over Squornshelous and attack any and all Black Sun units found as soon as permission is given for them to enter your airspace.

Be advised that the only reason that the Black Sun has gained access to your dimension is because you have, in effect, left your "back door" open. All doors/gates are not only entryway INTO new places, they are exits FROM old places. If you insist on using space fleets, with the various forms of sub-space propulsion, you must be extremely careful when re-entering normal space. It could very well create an "open door" to the area of space (dimensional or otherwise) that you would be unaware of....but a tracker beam could easily find you and your world.
If you'd like, Xeraph can work this to your advantage. If you want to know how, let us know.

Actually, we know how Black Sun got in. They've had the technology for thousands of years. We have prrof that they have exsisted since 5,000 BC, or at least their nation itself, not Black Sun as we know it today. But any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.

The SeeD commander waved his Naginata around like a madman, beheading 4 to 5 enemies in a row. His Barrier spell made sure the occasional stray bullet didn't send him packing, though he was growing short on protection. The others were slowly winning over the crew members, though at least 6 of the SeeD had died untimely deaths.

The enemy Admiral entered the scene. Reinforcing his Barrier spell, he prepared to use his most powerful technique... The Limit Break, Impaller. It had been a surprise when the instructors deemed him fit to learn what was once an obscure skill of the feudal era. But he proved them right, and mastered it quickly and skilfuly. He began to focus his ki, grabbing the weapon by the middle, and slowly making it rotate counter-clockwise. He increased the pace, until a red circle appeared, and began to fill with a dark matter. He focused on the Admiral, that made his second victim. A simillar circle appeared under him, and he plunged the exotic spear into his circle with the added rotation force. The edge hit the Admiral from beneath, passing across his protection and effectively impalling him.

Suddenly, a roaring noise made everyone on the Black Sun and SeeD ships glance upward instinctively. A group of huge ships burst from the cloud cover. they flew in an oval shaped formation, with two 300 m long cruisers in the center, surrounded by ten 100 m long gunships. As they come in range of SAM's and gun turrets they activated their shields. They flew in a circular holding pattern around the naval engagement area, broadcasting a tight beam message to all ships ID'ed as bleonging to Final Fantasy Heroes:


We are units of the Squornshelan Space Fleet Home Defense Group, diverted here to aid Green Sun against Black Sun. Please transmit data on which enemy ships have been boarded by your troops.


As soon as the data was recieved, the Squornshelan vessels split up and began attacking Black Sun ships with devastating effect. In the first few minutes of the atack, many ships were destroyed or crippled. One of the gunships swooped in on a destroyer near the back of the Black Sun formation, firing blasts of energy from its forward turbolasers. As the destroyer attempted to return fire, its guns froze in position as the fire control systems of the ship literally melted away. As it pulled up, the gunship shifted its forward fire to another vessel, and continued to blast away at the destroyer with rear-facing weapons. As it aligned itself for a run on a battleship, it launched an antimatter torpedo at the destroyer, shredding the engine room and magazines. Even if it didn't sink, that ship was out of the fight for good.

"Attention all allies helping Green Sun, RRN ships are arriving. We are comming from the South West DO NOT FIRE. I repeat DO NOT FIRE. We request an update on taking ships, so we don't cause friendly fire."

Negative, we're losing ships and lots of them. They're just too big. There are clusters of ships who broke off and seem to be ooperating fairly well on their own. Even in the SeeDs beat the Admiral, I don't think their tactics are going to change much.

The Admiral watched in horror as the soldier impaled him through such a powerful spell. But, still determined to drive out Green Sun and finally establish a colony in this dimension, not to mention a honor above all for himself, he actually broke the weapon impaling him, tore it out of his body, and cast a regenerate spell.
"You fools can never defeat Black Sun," he spat, "We are too powerful!"
He lunged at him with the man's own spear. But instead of stabbing the SeeD soldier, he cast a Project spell, sending the Admiral's foe off the boat, followed by a powerful Lighting. He wasn't sure if that would kill such a worthy foe, but it was enough to finish off many other powerful magician on land, sometimes on solid rock.
"Who's next?"

The commander was left barely alive after being hit with the lightning. Luckily his elemental defences had been enforced with Thundaga, otherwise he would've been burned to a crisp. As he fell on the ocean, he cast Cura on himself, and swam towards the debris of a ship.

Another SeeD, a Katana user, witnessed his commander's defeat. He was his greatest fan, often trying to adapt the man's attacks to the sword. "I AM!" He answered the Admiral. He ran wildly towards him, focusing his Ki across his body. The Admiral would be confused by his ability, Sankenjutsu, where he'd split into three simillar others, each tangible. The three ran around him as fast as a bullet, and attacked him, cutting through his protection and stabbing him on throat, head and heart.

"Many mages use Ki, but many Black Sun knows of another way to cats spells," the admiral coughed. This would kill him, he knew, but at least he would take out the others.
"We call it the Force!" he shouted. A huge bubble consumed himself, the SeeD soldiers, and the ship. They disappeared. But after three minutes, the whole Green Sun bay, it seemed, exploded. The entire Black Sun present fleet was consumedd and ironicly, only 3 Green Sun ships were taken. Green Sun, having a powerful infantry force, soon won the ground war. Black Sun retreated. How they were derfeated by a nation that was hardly even a fraction of their size...They didn't know.

Forty three hours later, Earnest Equanant was told that the war was over. Black Sun had retreated. And to add to the good news, an enemy of Black Sun in their dimension, after thousands of years of fighting, had finally captured and executed all the powerful leaders of the giant empire. It was split amongst the ethnic groups in the nataion and peace had finally fallen onto their world.

Later on that very same day Miranda Equanant gave birth to triplets and they were named after the heros of the war. Erica, named after a valiant tanker who took three of her vehicles and took on a wing of jets and may she rest in peace; Andrew, a captain who was able to sink over 12 enemy ships; and Scotty, a radar operator who let everyone know that Black Sun was attacking from space.

Back in the Garden, student, SeeD and staff gathered around the quad, where the SeeD Commander Squall Leonhart spoke out the names of the fallen. It was as if the list never ended... Half the team had died, many others returned maimed, and Leviathan was lost in the Green Sun bay. Well, at least he had received a blueprint for a very interesting tank, that could be put to use all across the world of Final Fantasy. Rest In Peace, my soldiers, my friends... my brothers....

On a more personal note, when Black Sun invaded, they kidnapped me. I'm not sure if your nation actually knows about this, but a squad of men from FFH traveled to their dimension and rescue me. As far I know they were from FFH, at least. Thank you.
