Today, in response to continued aggression by the RWC, Whittier has formally imposed economic sanctions on all RWC member states.
All assets of RWC member nations in Whittier owned banks are officially frozen.
All travel between Whittier and members of the RWC are formally banned.
The Whittier Natural Resources Storefront is formally closed to all RWC members.

We realize that some nations may think this is unfair. That though they are members of the RWC they had and have no involvement in the current war.
I have only one peice of advise for them. Leave the RWC and cut off all relations with its members. If you do this, I will reopen the store to your nation and release your assets. The sanctions will also be lifted off your nation.

Further, due to the belligerence of the governments of RWCand their refusal to halt their illegal aggression against NATO and the NWO, Brezhnekov calls on the citizens of RWC to overthrow their national governments and is prepared to provide arms to local freedom fighters attempting to overthrow RWC governments.

Illegal agression? How can it be called illegal? We never signed anything. If you send any aid to any 'freedom fighters' in our nation you will considered a terrorist by our government and we shall take coresponding action.

You do know that blockades are only used in embargoes while sanctions only mean that you won't trade with the target nation and that you cannot use sanctions to prevent other nations from trading with target nation? You do know that only if you are embargoing can you try to blockade other nations from trading with your target? But you have to have very good reason to embargo and not "He won't trade with me." kind of argument.

The Iron Concordiat of Wirraway laughs and this pitiful attempt to hurt our nation. Why must you constantly antagonize the RWC? Excatly 0% of our trading or economic ties link to Whittier so frankly, you can sanction us all you want. We won't even bother protesting this becuase it has no effect on our nation or the RWC as a whole. We encourage Whittier to continue playing its games because, despite what they may think, being sanctioned by Whittier is analogous to not being sanctioned at all.

A few rogue nations who belonged to it attacked a couple of NATO members, so everybody's angry, and we, a RWC member, are getting out of this chaos before we get nuked or something.

If Whittier or any of his puppets or real allies attack a single RWC member, thou shalt have hell to pay.

If you dare attack Intelligent Neighbors, Super American VX Man, or AfrikaZKorps in your little "sanctions", I will step into this regardless of the reasons for the attack and support my allies.

This is a warning, Whittier. You cross the line many times, and for once I will not sit idly by as you leave empty threats on the desk of nations and hope for no consequences.

In Safehavens opinion, this matter shouldn't even make the news. What threat does Whittier pose to the RWC seriusly? Economically and militarily, the threat is non-existant. This is just a move to gain the spotlight and make the uniformed mass of nations think the RWC is going down. This embargo is in no way effecting the RWC in a positive or negative way save the fact that its brought some tempers to flare which is a pity with how volatile the current world situation is. But if Whittier feels the need to further its actions and harm a fellow RWC member or any nation allied to Safehaven reprecussions will take place.

Listen I know the difference between an Embargo and a blockade. It was a mistake when I typed blockade. I already said 3 times I meant embargo and not a blockade.

OOC: I see no reason for such an action but I doubt any RWC member will notice.
