Rise of the Uruks: New Aspect of Chaos

OOC: OK, based on an idea I've been toying with of making custom models for WH40K with LOTR Uruk-Hai; basically its an Uruk-Hai bloodline for the 41st Millenium, subservient to Chaos.
The events transpire on a colony world on the edge of the Hydran System; thus these marines do not know that the Imperium has fallen to Chaos; but they will soon.

IC:

'DAEMON WORLD: ISENGARD (lol)
OCCUPANT: SORCEROR LOYAL TO THE RUINOUS POWERS; HEREBY DECLARED HERETICUS IN THE EYES OF THE EMPEROR AND THE RIGHTEOUS INQUISITORS OF THE ORDO MALLEUS
FOLLOWING INFORMATION: CLASSIFIED....

By Imperial Edict the following information is declared off limits to all but the highest ranking of the Ordo Malleus; for within is contained daemonical knowledge that even I would shun. The reports coming out of Isengard indicate experiments and breedings most foul. Once a powerful Psyker; our traitorous brethern has secluded himself in the high tower, fortress of sorts, of the world; alone for all intensive purposes.
Psychometric analysis revealed sometihng most grave and it was only later that we would realise our folly in not acting sooner. Barely a month ago, an outlying Imperial colony came under attack by a previously unknown form of Xeno. Bearing all the hallmark brutality of Orc attacks, our initial raids were designed to hunt down the foul Xenos, and purge them from our lords world. But we were decieved. Bearing weapons of Chaos; foul mockeries of Imperial might; they bore down on us. Brown skinned fiends, seven feet tall with eyes that blazed crimson in the half-light of the dieing sun. They bore great scimitars, forged in some infernal furnace, engraved with runes of the dark powers; and they chanted in their blackened tongues, prayers that would make heretics cringe at their zealotry. It was only with a heavy price in blood that we, barely a dozen of the Grey Knights, brought our foes to bear and smote them down upon the rocky terrain of the hostile world.
All signs told us the beasts came from Isengard...And yet we had no idea, yet, of what they were; or the horror of their birth that would be revealed unto us.

- Inquisitor Caius Secundo'

Bullets echoed in the fleeting seconds as the Space Marines hurled themselves forwards into the dirt; bolters raised; returning fire in a hail of metal and pain. The creatures continued to advance. Rough armour adorned muscular bodies; light and yet thick. They bore helmets that covered their eyes and faces; leaving only the beasts fanged maws to open eyes as they rushed forward; gibbering insanely in black blasphemy prayers....The helmet bore the Mark of Chaos; the Eight Pointed Star.
"For the Emperor!"
The cry rung out over the din of bolter fire as the Marines began their assault; bullets tore at them but they had no fear; pulling forth Chainswords as they attacked the beasts; the creatures mighty scimitars, etched in heresy, swung down and met the weapons of the Emperor with a mighty clang.
Their hot breath was in the mens faces; their sticky drool dripping mouths hissing and spitting as they tussled, a tumult worthy of the devils that they were now confronted with...And then the skies rained fire;
Droppods came; etched in runes of the dark powers, carved in dripping corruption. They looked like the Imperium's but...
The Marines thought no more as bolter fire and other heavy weapons echoed from the pods; Caius felt a shell tear through his leg, and another pierce his armor; he felt blood fill his mouth as he looked up and the thing was over it....He did not feel it, even as the scimitar shattered his helmet and skull shatter near simultaneously.
The creatures turned and beheld the vanguard of the new Imperium, the Chaos Space Marines....Amongst them walked a Sorceror, most powerful and ruinous, and the horde of dark skinned warriors roared in praise; bowing to him, with scimitars held high.
"You have done well, my children....My Man-Orcs; fighting Uruk-Hai!"
More roars, cries of supplication and savagery as the Sorcerer turned to the leader of the Marines.
"Behold my creatures; my warriors....They have a breeding complex on my Daemon world; but soon they shall spread throughout our new empire....This world is but the first to feel their fury."

--Troop Types--

--Uruk-Hai Berzerker--

Entirely melee units; crazed by blood and loyal only the sacrifice and the bringing of pain before the throne of Khorne; they slay without mercy of regret; murderous fiends obsessed with spilling the blood of their enemies. Their mighty double edged Scimitars can avail them against many foes; while their lack of any kind of ranged weapon is a distinct disadvantage.

--Uruk-Hai Commander--

Larger and stronger than many of the other Uruk-Hai, this commander demands total loyalty, respect and fear from his sub-ordinates. Armed with a huge Scimitar and a heavy bolter, he is a force in itself to be reckoned with; a whirlwind of the death and destruction demanding sacrifice to the Chaos Gods, and victory for the damned at any cost.

--Uruk-Hai grunts--

Most conventional grunts are armed in a variety of way by the dark powers. Khorne, favoring close combat gives them mighty shields and scimitars; occasionally chainsword versions of their favored weapons...
Tzeetzch prefers to leave the Uruks with sharp knives, focussed with occultish rune and bolters with enchanted shells.
Slaanesh, enjoying the rapture and ecstacies of War; gives them slimmer, more easily wielded Scimitars, and daemon whips; with which to feast on the pain and sensation of the enemy.
Nurgle; lord of decay and putrefication, cares not which weapons the Uruks use; so long as they drip corruption and infect with every bite of metal on skin.

OOC: Damn right; I plan to develop them more; mostly as a fanatical close combat force; but inevitably bringing in more troop types.

Looks like a really cool force, but you gotta have some type of big gunz, or a force like the TAU or NECRONS will blow any close combat units away.

OOC: Hmm. Interesting, you remember the Good Ship Hashik? I may just bring them in with the Jin-Kai Brigades. (Jin-Kai are riflemen who have had their bodies modified many times and their own mind is usually combined with that of an AI unit)

Hmm, interesting, but can they stand against my Dracon, half-dragon warriors of old. Hmm, steel, scale, and carnage, sigh it brings back this old dragons zeal for blood.
