Topic: Embassies in our great Sultanate

Greetings all world leaders,
I am Abar Al-Judi, foriegn advisor to our great High Sultan Wandu e-Mumman, first in the new line of e-Mumman Sultans. We have regained our independence from our Arabic Raider opressors, and after removing ourselves from the 157 year long rule of our opressors, we find ourselves in a predicament. As the Arabs removed all of their forces from Elephantum to provide defense elsewhere, we were able to gain power in a fairly bloodless revolution.
However we have no standing srmy as of yet, and are stuggling to build it, a small shipment of armored vehicles are on the way, but we need strong allies to aid us while we grow.


But perhaps it is better that i explain the history of the Elephanti Empire first.
In roughly 2500 BC, a settlement called Elephanti rose around an oasis in the desert. From this settlement, an empire grew, defeating the powerful Esseni and Raji tribes, and taking the whole Raji peninsula, as well as the Pashtad Islands. However, there was a rebellion, and conquered tribes regained their soveriegnty. Elephantum remained, small but alive, until the Arabic Raiders seized the country, banning the native language and religion, unsuccesfully. The Arabs were called to a war elsewhere, and began sacrificng lesser provinces for the good of the empire. Removing the rebellious Elephantum rid them of thier problems, and the military ordered a full pullout, leaving us to re-establish our old Sultanate. Our exiled descendant of our High Sultans returned to lead, and now we are in our present state.
We need countries to take spots on our embassy row. We have 10 available spots and our map looks something like this: ( X =empty, name=full)

Our policies domestically are largely decided by the domestic council, one represantative from every state, which hold their first elections this April. The majority of the candidates support education, scientific advancement, and cultural improvement. The High Sultan and his advisors control the military and foriegn policy, as well as law enforcement. They favor sacrificing some freedoms to make the country stong after being repressed. They are building the military, but must progress slowly. The country has a Muslim influence due to the years of being ruled by them.
As to two guards with rifles, we will permit

Also any embassies may opt to rplace a staff car with 2 camels or an elephant in accordance with Foriegn Law 001245

Khwarezmia is interested in exchanging embassies with Elephantum.
We assume that your construction workers know their job and would like to use one of your embassy-buildings.

Personnel: Ambassador, Commissar, 8 security personnel, 2 personal staff, 3 secretarial staff and 5 general staff.

Also, the Ambassador is a dedicated Pygmy-Mammoth rider, and we ask if it would be possible to use a stable for his Mammoth. They are about the size of a small horse. And much friendlier.

If you would like to send an Ambassador to Khwarezmia, we have suitable buildings in our Capital with accommodation for up to 100 personnel. Same restrictions of your country apply to embassy in Khwarezmia.

we will gladly accept your embassador, and his mammoth, but we must delay building an embassy in your fair country due to fiscal problems in our fledling country, as there is not enough budget money to go around :(

You don't need to worry about building an embassy in Khwarez, there are buildings set aside for embassies.

The Holy Empire of Shazbotdom wouldn't mind having an embasy in your nation, but we do have a few of our own things that we wouldn't mind passing by you before we accept this invitation.

1. We normally have 4 Motor Vehicles (Hydrogen Powered) on the Embasy Grounds.
2. We are allowed access to a local airport such that when the Emporer visits the Embasy, the jet with his Motorcade and him has an area to land and unload.
3. We be allowed up to, but not more than, 30 Armed Military Troops and up to, but not more than, 5 unarmed security guards trained in 5 forms of martial arts.
4. We bring in 50 Shazbotdom Civilians to work in the Embasy


Also, we pride ourselves in helping the local economy while we are in another nation. we wouldn't mind emploing some of your Civilians for up to 10 USD an Hour. The work they will do is mostly secretarial work. Filing papers, working with ambassadors and work such as that is all that they will be doing. They will not be in eye view of any confidential information related to the Shazbotdom Military. We will bring in the supplies to build our own embasy, so you won't have to do any of the work for the construction. Flooding is not a major problem as we will be installing a class 4 drainage system, it will feed the water right into a water filtration and storage system to be used as drinking water for our compound. As to vehicles, due to the low pollution rates of hydrogen power, we can live with 4 of them, however building codes allow for only 2 car garages, so two may be in your embassy grounds, but outdoors.
The newly reopened Elephanti International Airport is a 10 minute drive from the city, and you may use that or your helipad, or both if you wish.
We agree to all your other conditions.

The nation of Demonstanbul wishes Elephantum to build the embassy and then I will inspect later we will ship out 75 troops to the embassy, 2 Armored Vehicle and 1 helicopter. (2 of the Guards will be armed with AN-94) Thank you and you may build an embassy within my nation if you wish.

We have sent an ambassador and civilians to the embassy as I write you. As for the building, we always have one empty building for future nations who wish to have an embassy in our nation which is 15 minutes away from the Capital city of Teston and 5 mintutes away from the local Airport. And as for animals, We are shipping two white stallions. As for the two troops that have Rifles, they will be on duty during the night, any actions against laws will result in displinary actions from both countries =).

my first concern is personnel, how many may we send? How many do you wan to send?
my second concern is transportation, may we have a helipad for fast acess, and also Fatim Muiz, our planned ambassador, would like to bring his elephant to ride, as well as an armored staff car, is that ok?

The elephant is ill advised. Earthfall Island is not a large territory. There is little open space for such a large creature. There is a helipad on the top of the building.

Personnel should be no more than a hundred, as overcrowding would become a problem.

we will send 25 security, 40 personell, and hire any required staff from your populace. we have decided to replace the ambassador with one without "elephant fever" as it is known in our country, not to be confused with the "elephant fever majoris"-which is a fatal disease spread by eating elephant meat

We are pleased you accept our request! We would rather like to construct our own embassy. We do have teams experienced in working in swamps and flooded areas, although you may supply the labour if you wish. We will forward you proposed plans as soon as we have them, for your reviewal.

Your nation will be granted either a plot or a five-storey building in the capitol, with a helipad and accomodation for over fifty staff and guards. We shall modify the building for accomodation of your elephant, if you wish to take the building we offer. If you wish to build your own embassy the elephant is certainly still welcome, and we can supply temporary accomodation for your ambassador and guards and also for labour, if you would rather supply it.

we will take your building, and we will let you build your embassy with your own staff, but do you need every guard to have a submachine gun? we have 50 tanks and 250 other armed vehicles in the city, as well as Home defense corps (HDC), so you will be well protected, perhaps bring 25, but not all 100. Also we do not allow slavery, so may we send lower class staff under that category?
