Heres my original idea, its sorta futuristic, but primitive. PD stands for Post Destruction. Here is the story
Around the 30th century, a terrible war broke out, it consumed the entire world. Biological and Nuclear and Hydrogen bombs were used as if the world was coming to an end, which in fact, it was. Soon, some sections of earth became unfit to live in. North America, Russia, the Middle east, and Europe were almost all but wiped out. Humanity launched a last minute space program to evacuate as many humans as possible. 1,000,000 humans escaped, and settled on the moon and mars. Soon after, all of earth is unfit to live in. The ozone layer completly evaporates, and the sun rains deadly Ulturaviolet rays onto the earth, combined with the nuclear radiation, creates a surface more hot and toxic than venus.
1000 years later, earth cools down again. Humanity has made almost no advances at all. As matter of fact, has suffered for a thousand years. There was no wood at all, nor animals. Plants were grown in artificial greenhouses, and people often resorted to cannibalism. However, the history of earth was well preserved. Taking a bold step, humans move back to earth. Apon landing, they see a marvelous sight. The earth was as green and fresh as it was apon its formation. Animals had evolved. Descendants of the Dog appeared frequently, as they had been abandoned on Earth. Ruins were found all over the place. One monument stood where nothing else had. The statue of Liberty, once in the American state of New York, had been almost unscathed, it served as a symbol of freedom, and humanity. Among the most surprising things, were tribes of barbarians around. Some humans had survived the toxicity. Perhaps those that lived in Antartica. tribes setteled, and began to rebuild their city. They were living in primititive standards, but with the knowledge of the future. Nations began to rise again.

Your Earth PD nation is in NO Way tied into your real nation.
You may have only one small claim, to keep things simple, just claim the nation you want. Just because you take its area, you dont have to follow the tradition at all. Remember, the earth is refreshed, the air and water is pure, untouched by man. Example: You take what used to be Iraq, you can be christian and live in a jungle nation, etc.
Your nation will grow, i will approve any claims. I will appoint moderators.
Your nation starts with a small population, no matter what your NS nation says.
