Zurich, Switzerland
Its finally done.
This quest of mine.
My hopes...My dreams...all of them fulfilled
And now its time for one final move
Jo-hann Einkielburg, CEO of the famous Suisse Bank, sat at his 17th century desk. He was alone, gazing into the ornately decorated fireplace that rested behind his desk. He stared at the flickering flames for a long time, watching each of them blaze in their entirety. He marveled at the mysterious quality of this element, a material that gave man so much, yet could take it all away in an instant.
Associate Wilhelm Kuass, quietly stepped into the large room, the hinges creaking as he slowly pulled the great wooden doors apart.
“ Mr. Einkielburg, I have some important news.” said Kuass as he approached his superior’s desk.
Swiveling around in his leather chair, the Banker stared at Kuass’s figure. A figure covered in a fine 3 piece suit, and a gold Rolex to match. Something about his character made Jo-hann smile.
“ What is this news, you speak of?” Einkielburg quietly replied as he continued to gaze at Kuass.
The Associate collected his thoughts and let out a rather harsh grunt, as he sat himself in the apolstered chair, opposite to Jo-hann.
“ Bjorn and his allies at the bank agreed with your terms. The country will be your within 24 hours.” Kuass said, articulately pronouncing each word as they left his mouth.
Lighting a cigar, the new Chancellor slumped back into his chair and released a sight of relief. Thank the heavens. I can make my move now.
“ Alright, then. Mobilize my forces. Let this be a new beginning for Leichenstien.” Jo-hann quickly said.
For a moment Kuass just stared at his new Chancellor. He gazed into Jo-hanns cold, calculating eyes. I cant believe it, we’ve actually done it.
Disregarding his excitement and awe, Kuass promptly left the room and forwarded the Chancellor’s message to the readily awaiting Mountain soliders, surrounding the small Banking Capital of Yaduz.
Yaduz, Leichenstein
3...2...1..Move now.
Suddenly, hundreds of troops appeared from the snow drifts, surrounding the sleeping capital. These men, former Swiss soliders were now under the firm grasp of Jo-hann Einkielburg.
Dressed in white camouflage fatigues, carrying Generation-5 NVGs and toting Sig550 Assault Rifles, these men were prepared for the task ahead: to subdue the small country by morning. The funny thing was, no one could stop this group of 1000 men.
Quickly securing the Police Stations and Armory, these white-clad warriors broke down any resistance, without making a sound. Most police officers, on their nightly patrols, surrendered immediately and were taken prisoner. It seemed as if everything was going as planned.
Stepping up the broad steps of the Capital, Colonel Franz Gerhardt pulled out his small walkie-talkie and snickered to himself, briefly. These bastards didn’t even put up a bloody fight.
“ Base Camp, this is Wolverine-1. Area secured, no resistance. Awaiting further orders. Out.”
Surprised at the speed and efficiency of this group, Kuass could barely speak. An entire city taken within an hour? How could this be? Clasping the CB on his desk, he couldn’t manage to speak for a moment.
“ Roger that, Wolverine-1. Your objectives are complete. Make sure the city stays under control and we may have one of the most peaceful revolutions, ever conceived.”
“ Got that. We’ll make sure the populace stays under control. For the time being, I would suggest declaring martial law, until everything can be sorted-out. Anyways, I have some business to take care of, Auf Wiedersain.”
Pushing open the doors to the capital, Franz slowly stepped inside. Waiting for the next dawn and the new destiny for this small country to take shape.
