We are pleased to announce that the P-4 Kestrel has shattered the old world's record for fastest biplane by over 100 mph today. An unarmed civillian version of the P-4 reached 423mph over Groom Lake Nevada, TPM at 13:04 local time.
The P-4 was designed to replace the OH-58 and the RQ-1B Preadator UAV. But it can more than just take pictures and relay battlefield information to commanders. With its machine guns and missiles, the P-4 can take out enemy helicopters and hold its own in a dogfight against slower attack aircraft such as the A-10. The P-4 contains an impressive sensors array, better than that of the Preadator and OH-58 combined and can provide unmatched situational awareness to Generals.
