At a some secret Co-ordinates
A large fleet exited Hyperspace as they passed the red markers.
They were greeted by several MG ships.
The MDC Explorer had been given command of the fleet, 'Hail. We are to give our share of the security here. Our research transports, and minelayers will arrive soon. Later followed by our freighters to begin construction of our platforms.'
The ships approached, 'May we unload our troops on the surface of the planet?'

OOC: My lot are called the Shadows Mole. You should know that by now...
Three oldish Battlecrabs met the fleet, their spidery forms silouetting against the dead planet beneath them.
The Moles were deep in Shadow occupied space and there would be no chances taken, since 50 Shadow Battlecrabs were currently on the trail of the Thief of the Jewel from the Alpha Colony, another 200 were helping the Sith in their little war. The others were proceeding to level any world which got in the Shadows way... they were in no mood for trifling with others...
A hissed communication message greeted the Moleish ships:
'You are to follow us' came the voice hissed over the link in interlack.
The three ships swivelled gracefully and headed down to the planets surface, they were heading towards a large area, which was used for landing through a large hole in the planets crust. Through the hole the Moleish would notice the organic missile pods and the purple stalks, which looked a bit like a human hand with the thumb in the middle sticking out of the rock were multi firing versions of the death ray... short range but fatal to almost every known craft, which could fit into the hole.
The sheet black shields phased out of existance before them and the huge diamond hardened glass portal opened to reveal a huge docking facility and any number of scurrying creatures, most likely Shadow slaves getting ready to attend to the guests.

OOC: Sorry... 'Shadows'. Please... the possevive of mole is mole!!! Fpor example, 'That ship is of mole design'. The language is molish!
IC: The Fleet followed the battlecrabs into the hanger bay. Whispers were heard amongst the officers of how the shadows seemed to make everything out of living Material Were those battlecrab things alive?.
Whereas, the moles relied on robots and machinery for their ships etc.
When the the last ship landed, Vice-Admiral Striker left the MDC Explorer to meet a Shadow delegate. He was followed by a MUSRUM mk7 and 2 mole guards with obvious blasters in hand.

OOC: Oh all right... high horse and all :P
IC:
The huge battlecrabs ascending towards the open portal again.... once the Mole ships had landed safely... the audiable scream from them made many of the slaves cringe and cower gibbering...
*******
Several Shadows waited for the Moles as they walked towards them...
One was the Inquisitor known as 'The White Rose of Hell' Ceras Victoria, like all inquisitors she was pale faced, she had short blond hair and blood red eyes... as well as rather pointy teeth... she wore sky blue robes and carried a standard Guild side arm with her.
The Shadow to her left was known as Galen Zadomis, the Master of the Orders one of the Council of 7 as well as being the Master of Technomages... the Priests of pure Chaos. He could conjure al sorts of things by a thought with the 'tech' the Shadows had implanted in his skin. Like Victoria he had pale skin, was bald but his eyes... there was something about those eyes...
On Galen's left stood another Shadow looking like a Shadow should and wearing the white silk robes of a scientist...
Behind them stood four Lycan huge black skinned beasts, who looked like a cross between a bad tempered wolf and a human. Their huge claws made them look formidable... yet they were a few amongst the huge amount of Shadow creations...
Before the landing pad were two Dryal pens filed with the beasts the Shadows used as infantry... they couldn't be seen but their screaming calls echoed around the chamber which was lined with organic observation domes and organic weapons seeming to have grown from the walls themselves...

The Vice-Admiral was taken back by the site of the strange looking Lycans.
'Are these... creatures the height of your organic troop technology?' He asked Nervously. He hoped a negative responce would be given. 'As you can see, the MUSRUM mk7 behind me is at the height of our Robotic/Cyborg Technology. This two troops, are the height of our mass-production cloning technology. Feel free to ask me any quewstions about them.'

The Shadow in the White replied
'No, we have many creatures but don't be fooled such creatures are far more powerful than they look... they are fully capable of taking apart entire squads on their own... as for that robot of yours... it would have problems against a Lycan... but we have some creatures, which are designed to take out tanks. There are no Heavy Assault Dryal nor Worm Dryal on this world, however. We do not need such creatures here.'
he mused staring at the moles...
'You use mass production clones... we consider that quite primitive and utimately flawed. But we are here to combine our knowledge with you to create a very powerful fighting machine not compete.' The Shadow grinned.
'May I introduce Galen, Master of the Technomages and Inqusitors Ceras Victoria, they are here on behalf of the Shadowlord to welcome you.' he said.

'I thank you for your welcome' Replied Striker, 'However you be true about our Clone troops. We decided sometime ago that if a troop had intelligence, it had the ability to Question orders, and ultimately, rebel.'
He continued, 'Our mole guards can fight, top the death. We have made a special bacterium, that has been created to amke several clones of these troops in 20 minutes. Therefore, these troops are cheap and expendible.'
He paused, 'Of course, these are not our only troops. for example, I am not a clone, but a naturally born Mole. Now we have a few things to discuss about the design... so we know what to start researching.'

OOC: Good morning...
IC:
The Shadow grinned
'Well what you would be working on is the body, we would like the body to be fully robotic but very compact. Also if you produce all the sensors and any discreetly in built weaponry that would be useful. We will produce the brain, the muscle effect tissue and the general appearence of the creature. Did you want the thing to be able to reproduce?'
Moleland
15-12-2004, 12:17
The Vice-Admiral thought, 'I doubt it willever need to reproduce. Designing a body is the easy bit. Making inbuilt weaponry is easy, I mean we have already perfected it with the MUSRUM. However, It is wether something living can actually live with robotic components inside of it.'
He continued, 'What sort of weapons are we talking about being installed in it.'
OOC: Godd morning to... Sorry, Gotta go until 1. Annoying, 'I've got lesons all day' day. NOT ONE FREE PERIOD. See ya then.!

The Shadow scientist smiled... 'That to us is easy... you finish the body we'll deal with the organics...'
'As for weaponry, we need something compact and not easily detectable... What do you suggust?'
Moleland
15-12-2004, 14:03
'That Honestly depends on what sort of firepower you want' Replied the vice Admiral, 'We have a large range of light infantry weapons, to heavy MUSRUM weapons...' He paused.
'A second part is how much armour you want in this troop.'

IC: The Shadow grinned...
'Well, we were thinking of including one of these in system' he said lifting a blade out of an armoured Cabinent... the blade was phasing in out of existance constantly indicated by the fact it seems to flicker constantly...
'It's a copied version of a weapon of a race called the C'tan... they exist on one of world's we leave them be for the moment... they have no space or aerial capacity but they destroyed an entire Dryal clan on the ground within an hour... which is something... using these kind of weapons.' He flicked a switch on the sword and it phased out of existance.
'As for firepower, we were thinking something light and relatively silent. For close quarters missions, anything more long range we can provide for the model seperately. As for armour it will need to be reasonable armoured... but preferably relatively light weight... we can supplement some of the protection with our organics but we will need you help to produce real protection for the unit.'
Moleland
16-12-2004, 11:36
The Vice-Admiral looked at the blade, 'Yes, we could install these into the arm, sso it pops out. We have some light blaster weaponry... Although they aren't silent, they are not loud.'
He thought about something else, 'We Could provide a body with armour thickness of roughly 200mm of conventional armour. This would provide good portection, whilst being light weight. What sort of computers would you be lookiing for to be conected?'

IC:
'It wouldn't need to pop out Vice-Admiral, just be switched on. We could work on the sound from your weaponry and we would think installing in the hand would be the best bit for secreative killing... besides who looks at hands?'
The Shadow continued...
'200mm Armour would be fine... that will be easily enough to stop most conventional weaponry. Computers? No Admiral we use a modified brain, it was far ahead of anything a human has allows full control of such a body whilst maintaining an extremely clever and innovative way of dealing with things. We will handle the connection of this brain to your robotic body.'
Moleland
16-12-2004, 11:43
'Ok.. Very well. What I meant was that the blade should be installed inside the body, as in not visable, and 'pop out' whent needed. Now then, have you maade a blue print of this thing will be shaped like. Of course, you will have to make a version that looks like us...'

The Shadow smiled again... the Shadows had a habit of smiling a lot... it was almost a racial trait...
He spoke a few words to seemingly thin air and an holographic three dimension image of the prospective body condensed into view... it showed what the Shadows wanted done and what they would do it in turn. It also contained information about the schematics of connections required and the out layers of material required for the organics to function properly.
'We had copies of this transfered to your quarters and work areas. It should suffice your needs, the body can easily be changed we used a human basic model, since it is easier to demonstrate than using any other biological form.' The shadow answered..
