Lettuce eating frogs

This is a look at my countys history - this is nowhere near complete so please excuse spelling/gramar or missing pieces of infomation
Time line
DNFA = Dawn of the new frog age
-100,000,000,000 DNFA – the world was made.
0 DNFA - Travellers from the distant country of - [Extract deleted by high ruler of the frog] - where upon they came across a temple deep in a jungle here they found “The Holy Documents of the Little Green Thing found in Ponds.
1000 DNFA – Country gets invaded by alien (however this is not a problem as it stays out of sight)
1001 DNFA – Alien steals food from their town
1002 DNFA – After numerous raids the population gets together a search party to find it.
1012 DNFA – Ten years later the search party found the alien
1012 DNFA (later the same day) – after much debate and testing it decided that the alien looks and tastes exactly like a chicken
1013 DNFA – The hero’s returns to find that their village was overrun by these new found aliens and commit suicide
A brief look at the religion of the frog
Extracts from the “holy documents of the little green thing found in ponds”
From ‘The book of boredom’ chapter I verse I paragraph I.
‘In the begging there were only the frogs. Ribit son of Ribit ruler of the divine sector of Ribit and generally all powerful thing (it hard to make sense of this to a human as frogs communicate through pitch and tone not different syllables) was rather bored. Let there be something that I can hop around on and behold the world was made. But the darkness made him bump in to things “let there be a hot ball of flame that we can orbit roughly once per 365.25 times this planet spins round” However Ribit was still not pleased as he was to hot “let there be water so I can swim” thus he made the seas oceans and rivers. But he was still pleased. He commanded that there should be leaves to shelter under and flies to eat. And Ribit was content.’
Extract from ‘The book of naughtiness’ chapter XVII verse IV paragraph III
‘and Ribit walked up to the crowd of frogs and commanded them to talk, and still they did not utter a word, he commanded them again but no sound would utter from the lips. Ribit now vented he fury on them with the Twig of the Almighty. And there was a sound of escaping air and the inflatable frogs shot off into the distance. Ribbit now knew what the frogs where up to and called upon his powers to create ….. HUMANS. These beings would randomly squash or kill any frog that was not up to “the natural thing”
The country
The Spawning Ground – situated to the north east of the country this patch of swamp is protected as it is mating ground of the lettuce eating frog.
The Pond – The Capital City of Lettuce Eating Frog is called the Pond it is situated in the middle of the country the city it self grow up around city central temple of Ribit which is visited daily by devote religious members.
The Toad – This is the city of the dead a ghost town that is religiously the home of their ancestors.
The River of the Tadpole – This River runs from east to west but it and it numerous tributaries covers most of the country and is the main trade rote of the country however any waste dumped into the water is punishable by death as it and many of its tributaries of the living ground of the sacred frog.
