The Prime Minister is now speaking at a press conference.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the history between the Right-Wing Collective and the New Alliance Treaty Organization has never been, shall we say, peachy keen. Let's face it - our two alliances are the reason so many conflicts have erupted, though most of the time it's just one RWC nation versus one NATO nation or two and two, etcetera.
I am making what I think is a bold move. I offer my peace to the nations of your alliance. I will not fight a single NATO nation, unless of course, I am provoked to, as is usually the case with any war. But if asked to by another RWC nation, I will not. I know our two alliances are better off cooperating with each other, pooling our resources and working for the better good of the people in this great world, than to constantly fight and strain each other until we're all wiped out.
That's not the way it should work, and by being the first to offer peace to NATO nations, I hope others will follow my example. I don't want my people to live in constant fear of NATO attacks, which will never really happen.
I recognize that despite our political and theological differences, we both support the notion of world peace. We want to achieve it through different means but the goal is the same.
I know that you all appreciate that not all RWC nations are war-mongerers. I am certainly not. I would rather have a solid, warm political relationship with the other nations in the world than constantly face off against them. We all share this earth, what is the need for such unnecessary conflict?
I also apologize for any actions that RWC members made that were unnecessary. Although I am in support of my brethren, I feel that sometimes we do not make the right decisions. No one can say they make the right decisions all the time; I am admitting that now.
I hope the members of NATO will accept my verbal olive branch and hope that instead of fighting, our two alliances will prosper together as they should. I don't think we were ever meant to fight. I hope you feel the same.
Thank you all."
