.... 2007 ... Calgary, Alberta, Canada ...

Anthony Raymond Wittrock stood on the stage at the Leadership Convention for the Conservative Party of Canada, a few months after the assassination of Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

Anthony there was called the new leader of the Conservative Party and the new Prime Minister of Canada. Peter MacKay the current incumbbent (sp?) came in third, Colin Graves an MP from Toronto came in second.

Wittrock cleared his throat as he wore a rather large grin on his face, "Today is a day that will mark a new day and added to the history of not only our political party, but the history of our nation. I am now, the thirty-fifth Prime Minister of Canada and the only one to have a military career."

The audienced roared with laughter and cheer as Wittrock continued, "I would like to raise the attention of tonights leadership convention, but to our members and the people who ran willingly against me; Peter MacKay and Colin Graves. I, Anthony Wittrock would like to call for both men to come to the stage."

Graves walked up to the stage. As he was walking, he turned his head back, and saw Mai waving to him. It had been a hard night. Graves lost the position by only two percent. "Ah well," he thought, "There's always next time."

Prime Minister Wittrock clapped his hands with a smile on his face then shook both of the men's hands, "Congrats gentlemen, you were good competitors."

Prime Minister Wittrock went to the microphone centre stage and then spoke, "Speaking of placement for Deputy Prime Minister. I have decided to appoint the former-Liberal, Colin Graves to the poistion."

Graves was very pleased indeed. He shook Anthony's hand, then spoke at the microphone.

"Friends, Comrade, I'd like to thank Mr. Wittrock for the honor of Deputy Prime Minister- I assure you, you won't regret it. We have an important job to do- we have to make this government work for all Canada, not just East, or West, or Quebec, but Canada as a whole. We have to send a message to the Liberals that they cannot phase us- that we will do what we need to to preserve Canada. Thank you."

Graves walked off the stage, and sat back down.

Wittrock looked back at MacKay who did not look that pleased then looked back at the audience as MacKay left the stage to seat down, "I would like to invite our surprise musical guest to do a few musical numbers. Shania!"
