Gintonpar

It has just been announced by the Gintonpar military that operations have ceased in Mexico for the time being. Although the Aguascalientes Province is not yet ours, the other claims we had on Mexican soil have been fulfilled by our glorious troops. All resistance has been stamped out and Mexico City is today witnessing a new government being installed under the sovereignty of Gintonpar. Many of our forces have been sent to the Belarusian campaign to aid North Germania, but a ring of steel is now in place around Aguascalientes Province. As General Connolly, the C in C for Gintonpar Forces Mexico said earlier "we have more than enough troops to squash the Aguascalientes Province in a day, we just hope for a peaceful takeover of the province", General Connolly is not given to flamboyant claims, and it is easy to see from the military build up around the province that his judgement is realistic.
However we are glad here at Colorado Newsroom to see that Mexico has been incorporated into our growing empire. It promises much prosperity for us all and the stability in the region brings a noticeable difference to the overall political climate. It is believed that the new government will be headed by Senora Dolores Higuita, a member of Gintonpars cabinet and an influential figure in the government. She has a reputation for economic success as a previous Minister of Finance, and as Governor of Mexico she seems perfectly qualified for the job as the country has serious economic potentioal that just needs to be tapped in to. It seems she will take over sometime shortly after the Aguascalientes Crisis is resolved. For now though, we wish our new Mexican provinces the best of luck, and the Gintonpar military our congratulations on a job well done.
