As proposed, Emperor Gori has instituted this discussion table for each participant in the war for our unification to state their reasons for battle, and to clearly state what each side fights for.

We, the true sons and daughters of our fair country, are fighting against this uprising that is determined to succeed our just Emperor, the rightful holder of the Throne. We also know that one of the main causes of this war is a vendetta. The rogue faction, Il Futuro diItalia, is lead by our leader's sister, who was angered by the right of succession, and has launched this unjust attack simply to take control of our nation.

Those who would still side with this cause of mere revenge, we of Nueve Italia will hold no grudges, however, we have no choice but to defend ourselves. If there are some who believe our cause is just or unfair, please, state so if you would either help us or try and destroy us.

The Commonwealth recognizes the sovereignty of Nueve Italia, and accordingly we recognize the right of your government to defend itself. While we have made known our disapproval of military action, we do recognize the importance of retaining your territorial sovereignty.

Should the situation in your nation continue to deteriorate, however, the Commonwealth would not - under the right conditions - be opposed to sending in Azazian troops to maintain order.
