OOC: Well, got bored, and decided to start a new RP, if anyone's interested. However, since I will continue the RP, I'd rather to have friendly nations to only make statements now, since I do not want nations sending their fleets with aircraft carriers and SSBNs for the job of hunting this submarine, and the storyline of the RP will go according to my plan for now. Thanks for your understanding. /OOC
30nm From Number Three-Five Submarine Pen, Near Hogan Point
The massive GK-22 cruised deep underwater, as part of a regular patrol cruise around the Omzian coastline, this time not much distances away from Hogan Point, one of the largest cities within Omzian Nation. Like all other submarines within the Omzian Navy, it does not have a formal name, and the only identification that it will forever bears is the symbolic GK-22. Called and classified as a Nena class guided missile submarine, the GK-22 is heavily based on an imported design known as the Neptune, and its size is only some steps away from a massive underwater battleship. Bearing a total of one hundred and fifty four missile cells, it is a dangerous foe that can unleash a hailstorm of massive firepower. With all cells loaded with the new Omzian LRALCM-A cruise missiles, it sat underwater as the massive hulk traveled at a speed of fifteen knots. For now, GK-22 is still a shadowy name known primarily only by those of the Omzian submarine service and the naval headquarters, but within a short moment, it is hopeful that this vessel will be one of the most "famous" vessels within the Omzian Navy. Or will it be only a figment of imagination?
The commander of the GK-22, Captain Yurkan, looked at his men, smiling as he proudly displayed the Order of Ukan ribbon on his chest. A participant of the Battle of Hagras Bay, he was a mere Ensign aboard a Dolphin II submarine, before he transferred to the guided missile submarine service. So young but experienced, he thought, as his face already showed him as a middle-aged man, despite being one of the youngest submarine Captains within the Navy. Being one of those who entered the service directly from the Naval Underseas Warfare Academy, he still had his own conflicts with enlisted men, but he still admired how his own men are working so hard, and are so loyal both to his country and himself. There weren't much problems since they set sail some days ago, and that's both good and bad news for the Captain. The only thing bothering him is the Executive Officer onboard, Commander Horan.
He know Commander Horan well, as a man that had also from graduated from the same academy as him - in the same year. But even though the Commander was one of the major players in the academy's baseball team, they weren't in the same classes, and the Captain finally met him after the Battle of Hagras. Since then, these two men shared a healthy friendship. But there's something that kept bothering the Captain. The father of the Commander was one of the two ultra-radical Air Force Generals who had set up the coup against the government in 1989 - which turned out not so well, but at least guarenteed the Commander's father a position in the temporatory military government before they finally gave up and agreed to share the power with the civilian government. Even though the General still retired and lived peacefully within his home, it was not long until the local police charged his father with theft. This time, it involved CompuShop, one of the largest store chains within the Omzian nation.
"Theft of what?!", the Captain remembered the Commander once saying. The Commander has a deep relationship with his father, but ever since the incident, the Commander has been left under a state of distraught. It is a sheer outrage to even think that a big old, four-star general has been imprisoned for a petty crime such as theft, and it is a far cry from outrage to be reminded how his father was fined $2000 and sentenced to two months in prison. He knew well that it is his father's mistake, but he began to constantly blame the law enforcement agencies - and in many times, the government - for this thing to happen. No four-stars has ever been charged with a crime in the history of the Omzian military. It was a great shame for the whole family of the Commander. Even if it happened a year ago, it still traumatized the Commander, and had put him in shame. But this time, he wanted revenge. Redemption. Payback. The Commander's ruthless tendencies is a fame ever since that incident.
"This is the commander. Change course to bearing zero-three-two, at depth of forty-five meters. Reduce speed to five knots," the Captain ordered his crew as he checked his watch. Exactly on time. The crews however, being so disciplined, uniformly agreed. "Aye, aye -" - it was not long before their speech were cut by a shock that had rampaged the whole control room. "No," the familiar voice of the executive officer spoke, but this time in absolute defiance. He was holding a gun, a standard issue O18 assault rifle with a fully loaded thirty-five round magazine.
"Commander Horan, comrade, what in the world are you doing?!", the Captain immediately exclaimed as he entered a state of shock and fear. The Commander is holding a gun, he thought as his brain activity skyrocketed, still trying not to believe the fact presented in front of him.
Afer a short pause, Commander Horan finally spoke. "I want you to get the submarine off the city of Northern Prospect, where we can bombard Osaria," he ordered coldly, completely ignoring the friendship that he shares with the Captain, now pointing the end of the barrel of the rifle at the Captain not a meter away.
Osaria. Northern Prospect. Bombard. The words ran through the Captain's mind. It is a myriad of thoughts, yet the Captain is still in a state of total shock. A lower ranked officer, and a close friend, is ordering him to bombard his own city. "Now!", the Commander roared...
...Before three men stormed into the room, with three new rifles, still reflecting the red light off the ceiling. The Captain recongized one as Seaman Horae, one of the newest crews on the vessel. The other two faces also appeared very young, but it made no sense at all to him. Influx of thoughts ran into the Captain's brain. He simply cannot obey. The Commander is becoming a traitor, and he must be stopped before this esculates. But he didn't know how.
"Commander Horan, explain yourself!", he ordered as he looked into the eyes of the Commander. But it was mere seconds away, and something happened...
...gunshots.
With the Captain now on the floor, his blood dripping all over the floor near the plotting board, the three seamen - with blind eyes and thoughts - faithfully followed the Commander like robots as the Commander ordered the entire crew - now taken as hostages. "Get me to Osaria, now! Change your course to 356, we are going in!"
"But sir, how are you going to let the outside world know of your intentions?", one of the young seamen, only 21 years old, asked.
"You'll see," he smiled. With a total of one hundred and fifty four cruise missiles under his fingertips, it is time for Redemption. A traitor is always a traitor, he thought. But he is also calling for total revenge against the government - for what their civilian police force did to his father.
The media will know. And shortly after that, the whole world will know.

A young reporter, in his early thirties, stared at the screen as three words of "Live" and "Breaking News" flashed on his screen. There were no time to prepare, but to speak.
"Just a short moment ago, the Omzian government has announced that a cruise missile-armed submarine has gone missing from its intended patrol route at the west of the Omzian nation. The submarine has left for a regular patrol from an unnamed naval base, enroute to a standard patrol off the coast of the Omzian nation. There were one hundred and fifty four fully-armed cruise missiles, known as LRALCMs or Long Range Submarine-Launched Cruise Missiles, designed by the aeronautical company OMASC, on board.
Current details are sketchy, but it is believed that a renegade commander of the submarine has been plotting a terrorist attack against major cities within the Omzian Nation, specifically capital city Osaria and economical center Kanze. The Navy has obtained a written note from an unnamed Commander that explains his current terrorist plot, and it is expected that the note will not be released to the public for the time being. However, the government is expected to make an official statement soon, and it is also expected that several steps are to be taken by the Omzian National Guards to ensure the security of the Omzian military, government, and civilians.
