OOC: I'm starting this thread so we don't clutter up the Earth V incidents thread with stuff. Just for the setting:

IC:

In an underground bunker on the outskirts of Brisbane, Australia, several men are gathered. The room they are in is approximately 150 feet underground in a complex that extends downward for over 5 miles. It is designed to withstand a direct nuclear blast and provide food and shelter underground for 75 people for up to 10 years.

The gentlemen in attendance are seated in comfortable leather chairs around a table. lining the walls around them are 42" plasma screens that show various snippets of information and are controlled by remotes that are avaiable at each seat - they can display television programs, computer screens, tactical information - in fact just about anything you can think of could be put up on any or all of the screens for the use of those at the conference. Currently 3 of the screens are showing maps of Oceana and 3 are showing maps of Southeast Russia and Asia.

Heading up the conference is King 'Lude Valeeum Narcosis II of Mauiwowee, in attendance are representatives from the SPAM military alliance and the SHIT economic alliance. They are all agreed on one thing, it is time to do something about Vineyard, the issue is what and how. Those representatives attending include:

1) Warta Endor
2) Karond Kar
3) Sharina
4) Norleans (I know, he is my puppet and can't actually war, but he would be invited as a SHIT member just for info. puposes).
5) JeetKuneDo

King 'Lude: I agree with taking Vineyard out of Russia completely. We have sealed a deal today with the Phoenix Militia to purchase 8,800 Abram's tanks. I propose to put every single one of them in a war with Vineyard to drive him out of Russia. We will of course send men, planes and other stuff, but all 8,800 of our new tanks are being dedicated to this cause. How far are you from securing South Korea Mr. Khaine? What plan of attack does everyone propose we use?

Gen. Hidinski: Our 1st marine task force has advanced to the city of Sekch'o along the eastern coast. We had some resistence and light casualties. As for the plan, I would advice a build up in North Korea so Vineyard suspects an attack from there and then we invade Sachalin and from the sea of Okotsk. Warta Endor has very much experience in invading in the middle of nowhere and setting up a base from which we can further invade South-East Russia.

I'd like to clear up a few things.

I'm aware I'm involved in two conferences, the S.P.A.M. and AYBABTU meetings / alliances.

First, I'm involved in S.P.A.M. because I'm a part of S.H.I.T. trade alliance, and I condemn the actions of Vineyard. Also, I feel that SPAM and S.H.I.T. will be more valuable and trustworthy friends than AYBABTU (this feeling of SPAM over AYBABTU is very secret IC)

Now for my participation in the AYBABTU alliance is due to two facts. First, I already had an alliance with TGSR before S.H.I.T. and AYBABTU were formed. Second, because of my alliance, TGSR invited me into AYBABTU, and I accepted, in hopes I'd gain some more friends.

Take note that the AYBABTU meeting also includes / invites the DICK alliance, which Vineyard is a member of and I'm not a member of. I do not support or want to participate in the DICK alliance.



Basically, I'm in the SPAM meeting to solidify my relationships with SPAM and S.H.I.T. members as I consider them vital friends and trading partners. I am prepared to provide military and economic aid to SPAM aganist Vineyard even at the cost of being ejected from AYBABTU (if they do find out later on).

I'm in the AYBABTU meeting to attempt to stop Vineyard's crazy aggression through diplomatic and economy means, and to voice my concerns about his actions to his friends and allies. Perhaps I can convince AYBABTU to not support Vineyard or force him to accept a peace settlement, then World War III won't be necessary.

One can hope.

I have two diplomacy branches, the Military Diplomacy and Economy / Civic Diplomacy. The Military Diplomacy branch is involved with SPAM, while the Econ / Civic Diplomacy branch is involved with AYBABTU.



Hope that clears things up. If it doesn't, I'd be glad to clarify it further.

King 'Lude: For the record gentlement, I would note that Sharina has sent their representative to this conference as they are members of S.H.I.T. However, I would like to propose that Sharina be invited to Join S.P.A.M. as well. He owns the entire western seaboard of the former U.S. and a good portion of mexico and obvioulsy has a significant interest in what occurs in the Pacific as a result. It seems to me that it would be in the best interests of the Southern Pacific Allied Military to ally itself with a country that has signficant interts in the northern pacific as well. control of Oceana and the north pacific up to the aleutian islands would be a good thing.

Yea already stated in other meeting that the ambassador, empress, and General Briones have no idea Lt. Hayabusa is at this conference or it is even going on as they are not allowed to contact anyone and no one is allowed to contact them except the Emperor.

My forces have secured the cities of Ch'orwon, Munsan, Ch'unch'on, and Kangnung. The capital city of Seoul is currently under seige. Casualties have fallen sharply since the delivery of weapons, and stand at 6,500. I have a massive force of troops at the border to South East Russia, approximately 33,000 conscripts are ready for rapid A.P.C. deployment, with approximately 500,000 conscipts and black guard ready to follow. I am willing to begin the attack as soon as I capture Seoul. Large amounts of bombing over Seoul would be highly appreciated to lower the morale of enemy militia.

I am sending 1 million men, 5000 slivers, and 2000 wyverns to military bases in Northern China. They will be sent in regements in case you guys need help. I would also like artillery power staioned there to help take care of any artillery Vineyard has and protect aircrafts.

At approximately 18:20 hours today, the Mauiwowee navy carried out a nuclear strike in international waters of the Pacific. Specifically, a fleet of Vineyardian ships, estimated to be carrying between 40 and 50,000 troops and supplies was headed into S.P.A.M. waters. I felt it neccesary, in view of our alliance and need to put Vineyard in its place, to launch a pre-emptive strike and I therefore authorized the use of a single nuclear ICBM, launched from our holdings to attack the Vineyardian fleet. Please note, before your comments, that the attack was in open water of the Pacific and no land mass was threatened by the attack. We do not have any information at this time on how the Vineyardian fleet was affected by the attack, though we would anticipate the entire fleet, if not vaporized, was so devasated they will have to return to Jamaica, their point of origin. I assure you, we do not intend to use nuclear weapons again in this conflict and hopefully, will never feel the need to use them again in the future in any conflict, however, it was time to send Vineyard a message, they cannot war monger at will in the Pacific and Asian arena.

We anticipate your condemnation, but also ask for your reasoned consideration of our actions.

An enormous object hovered above the clouds, with sunshine creating a reflective effect off the object's exterior. Suddenly, the object shot down into the cloud cover as two distinct roars could be heard. Several minutes later, the object approached the runaway and flashed a light three times.

"This is Techo to Honoulu Airport Control. Preparing to land as per your instructions."

Two more minutes later, the flying object landed on the runaway and the roar of its two engines began to subside as the power levels began dropping. The aircraft glided smoothly down the runaway towards the airport complex, as another communication took place.

After a brief period of time, the aircraft disappeared inside the tunnel.

The aircraft "Techo" is one of the Sharina designed and built Aliana A200 jets. The A200 is Sharina's version of the Boeing 7E7. There are only two types of "passenger" aircraft operating in Sharina. The Aliana A380 and the Aliana A200. The only other aircraft in Sharina are military ones.

So basically, it was either an A200 or A380, but the A380 would be way too conspicious and would be difficult to fit into many conventional airports.

Well, there is a border (though tiny) and we have a daring plan. Zagreb is within range of our B2 bombers from my African posession. I could start bombardments on small military targets with limited civillian casualties.

I was referring to Vineyard's European holdings, namely the lands to the east of Italy.

His countries there are about 200 - 400 miles wide and things inside that "perimeter zone" falls easily in range of ship launched missiles and such I think. Countries like Croatia are puny in terms of size compared to US states, France, Germany, China, India, etc.

Russia won't be a problem as we can simply land in China or south of China and work our way in.

We have 30000 marines with equipment already in action in South Korea and about 100000 troops will be sent with all equipment needed. And what do you think of my plan? Just launch a bombarding campaign on Vineyards "Heartland" and maybe he will surrender and accept our terms. I also think we should accept the chance given by Doomingsland to use his soil as a base.

In other news, a large navy is being built in Kingston and Montego Bay; both cities in Jamica. This project is expected to be finished in 2 years. Estimates say that as many as 20 Carrier Groups are being built. Each Carrier group consists of 2 carriers, 2 battleships, and 6 destroiers, 9 cruisers, 5 frigates, and 3 subs. Tere will be 10 MineSweepers per group as well as a Marine batallion per group (A Croatian Marine Batalion consists of 10,000 men.)

140 Carrier Groups, each consisting of 2 carriers, 2 battleships, and 6 destroiers, 9 cruisers, 5 frigates, and 3 subs. Tere will be 10 MineSweepers per group as well as a Marine batallion per group. WE - TGSR has approved my conquest of the Northern Mariana Islands. Feel free to start building a base on any of the islands you wish. I'm going to put one on Pagan and turn that entire island into a military base. If you want to put your's there as well and share in the facilities, infra-structure, etc. that's fine by me. However, you can put one anywhere on the islands you'd like as promised, just let me know where. :)

King 'Lude: Does anyone know if we can secure permission to pass our troops from North Korea through China into South East Russia? That would be the best way I think to get in and establish a foothold in the southern part. Vladivostok is easily reached coming up that way and via the ocean.

Also, just so you esteemed gentlemen know, I've been in communication with my military chief of staff, some of you know him, General Jack T. Ripper. He assures me that we have everything in place here in Australia to send a 3.5 million man army with some 10,000 tanks and 9,000 ferrets in various configurations, he just needs deployment orders. My naval chief of staff tells me that we have 11 carrier fleets with all support ships on standby and troop and equipment support ships ready to go as well. My Air Force tells me that 1,200 C-130's have been placed on ready alert for rapid deployment and 200 Stratofortresses are ready to launch with full bomb loads. In short, I'm ready to go, we just need to agree who else is sending what and get our invasion strategy set. I'm deploying, as we speak, as many to the Northern Mariana Islands as it handle to use that as an initial staging ground, but we need to firm up forces and the invasion plan.

If you need more, please let us know.

Also gentlemen, our plans to turn the entire island of Pagan into a military base are in full swing. We have some 400,000 troops there as well as 3 full Carrier groups stationed offshore. The Airfield is complete and 2,500 tanks have been delivered for use in the attack on S.E. Russia.

Finally, UNIverseVERSE has sent a communication to us requesting membership in F.O.A.M. and we move to let him in and get his representatvie here A.S.A.P.

As such, Seventy of the carrier groups have been sent to hunt Vineyardan naval units and expect a high success rate due to their overwhelming numbers and superior captains. Each carrier group consists of 2 carriers, 2 battleships, 6 destroyers, 9 cruisers, 5 frigates, and 3 subs. This navy is expected to clog up shipping lanes, but I really don't care.

Once Jamaica is conquered, I'd like your assistance in taking the American Virgin Islands for Norleans so together ya'll can "guard" the Gulf of Mexico.

2. Tenebricous has offered us the use of North East Russia as a staging area to attack Vineyard in South East Russia.

Warta Endor owns teritory in West-Africa, we can support you from there, but I think we should concentrate on South-East Russia. We started an invasion on Sachalin today.

OOC: Depending on circumstances I may RP some tommorow (Sunday) but then I'll be without computer access until next Monday (Dec. 20 - 27). Absent anything I RP tommorow, please accept that I am building up troops and Airbases in North East Russia to attack Vineyard in South East Russia. He claims to be moving 1 million troops north to take on the attack. feel free to kick his exposed ass in the South and then I'll come in from the North. By the time I return, I expect to have 2.5 million soldiers in N.E. Russia ready to go with tanks, ferrets, etc. as well as 350 of my new planes outfitted as fighters and 150 outfitted as bombers and just wait until my special forces and SEALs do their stuff. :) TG me if there is anything I need to know in advance. I'll read TG's before I check the forum and read posts to catch up.

Aww, I like Hong Kong... I just thought that it would be good to have some controlled land surrounding Hong Kong. I have another idea: You take S.E. What do you think about a swap - You take SE China and I take the Phillipines? You've already started the RP of the Phillipines, but that's ok, we can do a treaty or something since you're in Hong Kong, seems like a good deal. I, on the other hand, except for Brazil, am an islands only nation. Just an idea, let me know what you think. :)

We believe that they are still there and have not been transported out. We could overrun the island and kill the dictator.
