How many infantry dismounts/crew?

OOC:You realize that by mounting the gun the A10 has, the APC will probably end up being pushed back by the recoil. A10 pilots have to go into a near dive when fireing it to avoid stalling.

OOC:
the recoil is less of an issue on a ground unit but still the GAU-8 is still a bit much for a 25ton vehicle, it is also mroe or less useless, unless used in a dedicated AA mount you would be far better siuted by the basic 30mm Bushmaster II (same ammo, slower rate of fire but much lighter and actually capable of hitting things) heck you could get away with a proper 40mm gun quite easily.
before you shout noob you may recognise the anti gatlign gun speil as beign a favourite hobby horse of my main nation, crookfur.

OOC: You can say that ICly, from a scientist
As clarification, the 30mm gun that is used on the KAPC-1 shoots smaller bullets than the A-10 bullets, which are as long as winte bottles

What exactly do you mean by smaller? are they thinner or shorter?

so soemthing more akin to 30x113mm ADEN/DEFA/M230?
still a rahter nice round if used correctly, but still a gatling gun woudl not be the way to go, a large calibre cannon would be a better alternative.
I want it to be able to be capable of use against other armored vehicles, and still, used effectively against infantry, and light targets, like buildings. A heavy gatling type gun works best.

Eh no it doesn't...
your ideal choice would likely be something similar to the Super40/super50 bushmaster weapons with a smart fuzed round capability.
Ever wondered why gatling guns are only used eithe ron aircraft or as anti aircraft weapons? the main reason is that they are rahter inaccurate and spray rounds over a wide area, which is great for htting things that are either fast moveing or when your firing platform isn't entirely stable, but in a ground to goirund role they are very very wasteful and have a lower effective range, a decetn single abrreled cannon firng the same round is of equal if not greater effectiveness as although it doesn't fire as many rounds more of those will hit and often at a higher velocity.
